Accommodations: Two story log home with porch, 3 bedrooms (queen, double and two twin beds), 2 baths, full kitchen, washer and dryer.

The main floor of this custom built log home includes 1 bedroom with a double size bed, a bathroom, full eat-in kitchen, a utility area with a washer and dryer and living room with a wood burning stove and satellite TV. Upstairs includes 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with 2 twin size beds, and a bathroom. There is a large porch overlooking the Nine Mile Creek. The home sits on a secluded 23 acres, with one side of the property bordering National Forest and one side bordering the Nine Mile Creek. The views are breathtaking. The log home provides an excellent vacation retreat for seasonal golfing, rafting, kayaking, hiking, skiing, hunting and fishing. Walk out the door and within 100 feet you can be fishing in the Nine Mile Creek and other world famous Montana trout fishing rivers are all within an hour’s drive. Missoula, with its many fine restaurants and shops is only 40 minutes away by car. Missoula is served by an airport with multiple flights by major airlines each day as well as several car rental agencies.

Cabin in the woods

Excellent property to get away from it all. Lots and lots of wildlife. No cell services or Wi-Fi. Great place to unplug.

Slow down and relax

This cabin is the ideal place to experience Montana, slow down time, relax while enjoying nature. Deer and Elk were spotted daily. Various other animals like chipmunks, hummingbirds, turkey and prairie dog like critters. Nine Mile Creek was a joy to fish if you like wading. Close to the airport and quick drive to Missoula. The owners are absolutely wonderful to work with to make your stay great. If I go back to Missoula, this is where I will stay. Thank you Susan!!!

Relaxing & remote retreat

We stayed here to attend a wedding nearby. We enjoyed the remote area, views of the creek and mountain & so many animals (deer, elk, otter, cows, horses, & birds)We walked and my husband fly-fished, up and down the creek, sat with our coffee on the deck & played cards in the evening. Nice to Not have wifi and cell service & really get away from it all! Beautiful!
My husband had a great time fly fishing the creek!

Great place hidden away

We had such a great stay at this cabin! It was definitely off the beaten path, but I kind of expected that from reading other reviews. We had a little trouble trying to find it at the beginning, but that was my fault because I had entered in the address wrong, but once we kept going to the very end of the road, we found it! It’s like a treasure at the end of a rainbow! The weather was absolutely beautiful, and we loved how quiet it was! The cabin itself was clean, and the beds were super super comfortable, we all slept so great! Thank you so much for sharing your place with us, we would love to come back again!

Best little cabin in the woods

The stay couldn’t have been better. We loved how secluded it is and the creek was fun to cool off in, fish, and just listen to. Lots of wildlife around too.

Happily Disconnected

"Over the valley and through the woods".....We arrived in three cars and we all had trouble finding the cabin. We were not expecting the miles of gravel and then rutted road. Signage at each turn not well marked. BUT the reward for the effort was worth the dust and mud on our new car. The views from the cabin's large front porch were beautiful. We saw deer, turkeys and cows. I imagine we missed other wildlife but enjoyed what we did see. The cabin is charming and well equipped. Initially panic set in when I realized we did not have cell service or internet but the result was forced relaxation. Be sure to plan your menu in advance as the closest store is pricey and quite a distance away. We are six members of a family living quite a ways apart. It was very nice spending uninteruppted time together

Fun Time

Our family had a great time and we enjoyed how secluded it was. The single lane dirt road was a bit rough after the torrential rainstorm, but the area was beautiful and the home was clean and worked great for us. We loved how close to the creek it was and that it was at the end of the road. Kids would have liked wifi, but we played lots of games so it worked out perfect!

Mountain cabin

We had a great time at this cabin. We loved how secluded it is. The kids could run and play and we didn’t have to worry too much except for watching them around the water. The only complaint was the beds; they could use an upgrade. The master suite bed was not too bad but the others were very uncomfortable. Even the kiddos complained about them.

A true Montana adventure

Stayed from August 1st to August 6th. We have been visiting family in Missoula for over twenty years. This is the first time that we have rented a cabin and stayed outside of Missoula. It felt like a true Montana adventure. The very hot days during our stay made it easy to enjoy using the Nile Mile Creek. The cabin was well equipped with everything you could need. It was our base for several day trips to the Fish Creek area and to Kreis Pond Campground area. We had a great time and would do it again in the future. We may look ahead for stayed at this property again next year.

Incredible Property

Traveling from the East Coast we really wanted to find a place that was special and not a hotel and we were not disappointed. The cabin is immaculate and has every necessity you might need. We were thrilled to be in our own little wilderness paradise for a few days. THANK YOU!

Another great visit!

We have been visiting this property on the magnificent and secluded 9 mile for years. The fishing out front is fun, and the access to world class fly fishing rivers within an hours’ drive is amazing. There are plenty of other things to do in and around in Missoula area. The owner is terrific to work with. Looking forward to next year!

Nine Mile Cabin

The stay at 9 mile cabin was a wonderful experience. Very clean and spacious. Located on the 9 mile creek which we fished. Saw lots of wildlife. The only downside was not internet or phone reception Did have landline for calls

Unplugged relaxation

Absolutely loved the property and the location. Brothers and in town for a week of fly fishing. Very peaceful and lots of wildlife. The directions and the last road in could use updating. There are more than two house that you pass. Go all the way to the end would have been good. Absolutely zero cell service, which was great! I would definitely stay here again.
