Staff are really friendly

Enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I also loved the culture of the neighborhood. My only complaint is that the room was really warm. The AC did not seem to be working properly.

Great for the money

The hotel room was exactly as advertised, it's just the location is a bit far from Manhattan. If you are willing to ride the subway it's not so bad.

The property/hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was great and courteous and helpful. I did not have a chance to try the restaurant, but next time I will. Overall, It was a great stay, and I was very surprised and pleased.

I wasnā€™t happy with floors no carpet, no iron board or iron , no closet space to hang up coats & clothes, lighting could have been better. No microwave in room nor in the entire building. We had leftover pizza and wings had to throw out because refrigerator was to small to store.

Room was very clean but the door on the bathroom would not latch shut. We notified staff multiple times, each time they said someone would come up to look at it and the issue was never resolved. Also if someone is in the shower, there is only fogged glass separating them from the rest of the room so their naked body is completely visibleā€¦

Hotel was nice and great location coming in & out of city. Only complaint was that the beds didnā€™t have a fitted shirt only a flat sheet covering the mattress pad which we thought was sort of strange. Also there was a black stain on our sheets probably from laundry.

Sounds of reggaeton in lobbyā€¦kinda cool. Works as a hotel if staying in NYCā€¦a bit farther away from the ā€˜actionā€™. Definitely you will hear espagnol everywhere you go! The people are super nice. One thing I didnā€™t like was the all frosted showerā€¦maybe thatā€™s cool for married couplesā€¦but I was traveling with my brother!!!

Horrible neighborhood. No parking on premises and the one they suggest advertise 30 dollars a day but if you have to drive out somewhere, the deal is nulled and.void and you have to repay the fee. No access ice buckets nor ice machines. You are forced to purchase water bottles from them. Horrible lighting in halls, theynare dark and not well lit. Our room's AC notmworking. I complaint early upon arrival and it was ignore. I complaint in the evening around 130am, they did change the room to one with AC but the bathroom door was jammed, bathroom.walls.dirty, i had to wiped them down and floor was filthy. TV in room not streaming correctly either. I would not recommend you stay there.

The people were very good, the room not so much

The check in and out was easy, the employees were very good. The room had major issues. The ceiling was dirty, least of our concerns, there was no carpeting, the shades did not darken the room and there were no curtains, the door to the bathroom could only be moved by me. My gf could not move it because it was too heavy for her to slide. The drain to the shower was very slow and the water almost overflowed during our showers and we do not take very long showers. The door from the shower to the other part of the bathroom leaked a bit and there was no ventilation fan. The location was two blocks from the subway station 181 red line which was great. There was a doorman who was cordial and the elevators only operated up with your room key. So the security was pretty good in a tough neighborhood

Unfortunate and inescapable odor

Good location with easy access to the A, city bus, and wonderful cafe across the street (Miloā€™s). Room was adequate sized for 2. Beds were comfortable and sheets were okay. Water pressure was not good in the shower. Towels were old and thinā€”definitely not absorbent and thick. The biggest problem was the weed smell. I noticed it when we walked into the room but when we opened the bathroom door it was overpowering. There are no sliming signs all over that folks are clearly ignoring and the smell is traveling through the vents. Itā€™s bad. Really bad. Staff was very nice and they have an espresso machine, drinks and snacks in the lobby. The lobby is cool and very Latin oriented, as is the neighborhood, with bachata and reggaeton playing at all times. Overall a decent place to stay considering the price.
