**Peace and Tranquility. New Orleans Historic Shotgun home walking distance to the Canal Street Street Car in a peaceful Historic Neighborhood! This is a Shotgun home so you must walk through bedrooms.

There is street work going on by the city so parking will be difficult because we only provide stret parking. Estimated time for the work to be completed is 45 days.

We get our towels from a linen company. Sometimes the towels might have blotches (i.e., bleach stains, burn marks, or tears). Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and we’ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

This place was clean and there was enough room for 6 adults. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is there was nowhere in the house for all of us to sit down and eat together unless we went outside to the patio.

It was very easy to check in. We had a little issue at the beginning but it was quickly resolved. Nice location if I was to come back and visit again I would most likely probably stay here again it was very convenient for everything.

Just what we needed.

We needed a place centrally located near Tulane. This property was convenient, clean and well appointed. We had no issues during our stay.

Great stay

It was a very clean and cozy. My family and I had a great time. Everything was accommodated. Dishes silverware even coffee for in the morning. I would Definitely stay there again.

This home was more than I expected for the price. It was just me and my mom but the next time I book, I will be bringing my whole family. Great stay !

New Orleans visit

Shot gun duplex in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown. We had to park down the street since it's in a neighborhood with no driveways but that wasn't a problem. Very clean and efficient with a surprise private courtyard in the back. True New Orleans experience.

Cute and cozy

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cozy home near the French quarters. Easy 10 Lyft ride to Bourbon street. My husband and I and two other friends had a great weekend here. Would definitely recommend.

The home is a one side of a duplex. It is shotgun and the front living room has been set up like a bedroom. The mattress in this room is super uncomfortable. I am a side sleeper and tossed and turned all night long. I would wake up every morning and my shoulders and lower back would be killing me. I messaged the owner in VRBO and received an automated response, nothing addressing my concerns. This place has so much potential. Close to some great spots in mid-city, easy access to French Quarter, Garden District, Business District. Easy street parking on a quiet street. A few things that would make it so much better: -New mattress in front room-Bench in each room for luggage since there is zero chests or armoires to utilize for storage -HOOKS (bathroom, bedrooms, kitchen)-table and chairs in kitchen area to play cards and eat instead of futon -toilet paper holder next to toilet -little shelf under fireplace mantel in kitchen to store groceries and bottled water -back patio has so much potential to be a little garden oasis! All in all, it was fine for the weekend but unless these little things (which would make such a huge improvement) were implemented, I probably wouldn’t book it again.

So nice & cozy

We stay here for 4 days and it was so nice! Neighborhood was quiet, 6 minutes to bourbon street! Everything was so clean and host is so easy to get a hold of!

It was just a quick over night with 6 adults following a comedy show. Clean place in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to all that NOLA has to offer.

There was trash on the porch when we arrived, not that they could control if someone walked past and left something on the porch but not pleasant to come up to. House is so fun and beautiful! The host messages A LOT! There are pros and cons to that but I guess a could spin is they are responsive.

Give the Shotgun Style a shot.

The owner(s) of this property genuinely care about their customers and the house. It was easy to stay at this location, and fairly easy to travel and rest. The neighborhood appears to be undergoing some changes or improvements; however, it was not disruptive. This house is roomy and somewhat charming.

Family short stay

My family and I came into town for a cruise so we stayed one night. The house was clean and ohhh my goodness the beds were the best!!!!!!! Not to mention the communication was prefect and on point. Thank you so much for opening up your beautiful home to us!

Relaxing weekend getaway

My cousins and I went on a quick weekend getaway. Genesis did an amazing job with the house. It’s the perfect location, quick to get in and out of the city. We were a little worried about the traffic because it was bayou classic weekend but we didn’t have any problems getting in or out of the neighborhood. The house was really clean, the beds were comfortable and we truly did enjoy it. It rained the second night of the stay so we did return back to the house a little earlier than expected. We sat back and watched a movie. Super cozy. We hope to rent again in February.

The bedding was extremely comfortable. The cleanliness was below standard - floors were extremely dirty and there were broken glass shards on the carpet in the kitchen The bathroom was clean but there should be an antislip mat provided for the shower The slate tile is slippery there were no bathmats provided. The towels were sufficent There were very limited utensils in the kitchen and no glassware The bedrooms need nightstands No kitchen chairs made eating meals difficult TVs in bedrooms were great but consider putting one in kitchen There were no dressers or luggage racks
