Parking was inconvenient because has to open the gate from the inside of the backyard and then park in the backyard. The house lacked any drinking glasses and had minimal plates, utensils, etc. It wasn't cleaned very well before our stay either. The location was great for visiting local breweries.

Not the hilton or anything...but decent and better than hotel in the way of privacy and price for what we got , i would stay again

I have rented through vrbo several times and by far, this was the worse place Iā€™ve ever stayed in. Check in was at 3pm and when I arrived at 350 there were people in the home supposedly cleaning. My family had to sit out in my vehicle for almost an hour got them to finish cleaning it after driving for 25 hours. The house was disgusting.

Dirty Moldy stay

The house was really dirty, floor hadnā€™t been cleaned, dead bugs everywhere, A/C vents were black due to all the dirt, roof had water stains, mold smell throughout the house, bunk beds falling apart.

This property is not worth the money!

This house was so disgusting and it smelled. The house was filled with dust and mold. The counters and stove were gross. The washer and dryer didnā€™t work. I tried to talk to the property owner but never received a message back. I would not waste your money staying here.

I disregarded some of the reviews stating how terrible the place was and went ahead and booked. It was the worst decision. I attempted for 4 days prior to our check-in date to contact the host for check-in information. Resorted to contacting a Vrbo agent and was told 'maybe the host will meet you there in person'. That didn't happen, finally 1 hour AFTER check-in the property manager contacts me w/ the code for entry. The grass was up to my waist in the front yard, there was a blue tarp on the roof that was half on and hanging on the other side, water marks on the ceiling in the kitchen and bathrooms w/ drill holes like they attempted to drain standing water. There were no washcloths and no coffee pot. Overall this place shouldn't even be for rental. If you just want a place to rest your head for the night...maybe but if you plan on staying for any length of time, just don't do it.

The listing IS NOT ACCURATE. This hoise was discusting. The floors looked like they had not been cleaned for months, wood flooring was lifing , dead roaches on the floors and countertops, coutertops were burned with cigarette stains, outlet had no covers, showers were discusting and moldy. I cant even say how bad this house was. We left and rented hotel rooms for the weekend. There is no way we could stay there. I tried to get ahold of the management but no one would retirn my messages. I have stayed in VRBO units many times over the last 6 years and never had a complaint until now. This house should be removed from any kind of rental status.

Nice little house , nice neighbors but

Dirty. There are conditioner and body wash dispensers that are rusted and kind of gross and not full of product and just not in working order. The floors were dirty. There was a smell when walking into the place and somehow taking the air freshener out of the wall made it better but still stinky. No trash cans in any of the bathrooms. Only one trash can with a broken lid in kitchen. The showers weren't great. There is noticeable stains and just dirt on appliances and mattress. The fridge seemed brand new and clean. This place could be nicer and looks like it might be in the direction of trying to look nicer, but it needs professional cleaning. This is one of the only rentals I saw that would allow two dogs and that's why we booked it. And for that alone it worked.

Geppetto in the Ghetto

Just as the fictional character Geppetto was swallowed by a whale we, unfortunately, were swallowed by the whale of a lie of this property. The photos were of the same property on the listing but they must have used magical filters to attain the appearance that was so dissimilar from reality. We could have avoided the charade if we had just reviewed the ratings and comments. If you are homeless this property may appear inviting. Warning however! Remain on the streets. After a brief stay you'll be looking for the closest out house, cat house, flop house, crack house, condemned house or haunted house to call home. The kitchen floors (tile in the photos) were 'upgraded' to splintered, warped veneer planks that impaled our feet numerous times. If we tread lightly ONLY on the center of the planks we could avoid being slapped in the backside as we made our way to the equally precarious farther reaches of the FUN house.The floors in the remainder of the property were so uneven we felt like we had booked a cruise instead of this listing cigar city wonder and we were mournful that we had left the dramamine at home. The 'master' bedroom was adorned with a king sized fluton, not futon. It made you nauseous each time you had to force yourself to get in it. The living room sported a tiny, doll house couch stained with body fluids from renters past that only a midget could recline on. Sorry, little person to be politically correct! Vrbo limits reviews...part two coming!

Not so charming

When we pulled up to this property, it was a cute house, and then we saw the pile of trash that wasn't put out on the curb for pickup. When we walked in the house, the strong smell of air freshener and marijuana hit you when you walked in, masking a smell. The living room has 1 loveseat, 5 weak table chairs and 3 barstools, which are not so comfortable for 9 people. There are two showers, but no tub for the the children. One of the bathroom has a soap scum shower curtain, rusty shampoo and condition holder. The master bedroom bathroom door is broken The shower didn't have the glass doors that were advertised in the photo; it had a new liner hanging; the stove didn't work; I messaged the owner; they got back and quickly sent maintenance out; but we still didn't have a stove for the 5 days we stayed. We find the source of the smell behind the stove to be a decomposing rat.The a/c unit did not work; it got up to 80 degrees in the house, and the thermostat was set at 66 degrees. There was one fan to cool off the entire house, and on the third day, my child woke up with bite marks on his hand and had to be taken to the emergency room. It could have been bed bugs or red ants, but her hand is still swollen with pus-filled bumps, and I have pictures to prove all the things I'm talking about. Rent at your own risk.

Not worth staying at unless you have no other options.

First sign that i should not have booked with this renter was the terrible communication. IF i had known that they lived in Columbia i would have never gone through with the booking, but i didn't. I even told them ahead of time that i wouldn't be checking in till late because i would be at a convention all day. That would have been a perfect time for them to say ok well we only respond between 11 am & 5pm (yes that's right 6 hour window otherwise no communication) but instead they wanted my money & didn't say a word.The main reasons for the calls and emails which went unanswered for the as stated time were because they left no notes on the check in details about the wifi password...& because of this there was no way to get any work done the first day or even watch anything on tv through the wifi. You would think it would be so easy to just put a piece of paper on the fridge or email the password, but i guess not if you don't even live in the USA. I wish this was the only problem with the house, but the back yard is trashed..literally trash all over it. The beds are terrible, you sit on them and they fall apart (i'm not kidding) & the floor in multiple places is cracked and moves as if you will fall through it. I had to tell my gf to watch her step around the front door into the bathroom cause it felt like it was going to give way & you would go right through it. Part of the house including one of the bathrooms has no AC so expect it to be sweltering in the Fl heat. 1 STAR

The home look like the pictures in the kitchen there was no cups and dish washer like it says in description in the living room the tv thatā€™s on the wall did not have no plug to plug in the wall so it didnā€™t work in the one bedroom close to the front door on the left hand fleece in there and in the master bedroom in the bathroom the shower did not have hot water but other than that the is cool

The cleaning was not done well at all, the floor was filthy There was No simply supplies like coffee pot or, mugs. One open roll of toilet paper not extra other than the half used one there was trash on the ground outside (trash bag full of trash, beer cans) we had no way to use the parking spaces provided due to the fact issues with the lockbox. So had to use street parking all weekend. Make sure you bring anything you may need to use with you. Nothing there.
