This charming retreat boasts ample space for large gatherings, featuring 8 bedrooms and cozy living areas where memories are waiting to be made. Whether you're unwinding indoors or exploring the beauty of the Upper Peninsula, this property offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure.

Amazing place. Stayed with a group of 12 and everyone had their own bed and never got bored of things to do. Basketball, hot tub, card table, outdoor stuff nearby. Highly recommended

The Best!!!

This place is legit!!! Totally what we wanted and needed. Super fun place to stay in a great remote part of the UP. We had so much fun and will definitely stay again if we make it up this way again.

Great property

Our 3 generation family had a great time here! Different, fun experience from most places we’ve rented - kiddos loved the bounce house, BB goal, toys and games and adults enjoyed all the space and bedrooms! No problem getting a quick response with any questions we had! We’d definitely stay here again!

The property and facilities were beautiful. We went to Grand Marais to bury my husband by his family. Copper Top allowed us a place to gather our family and just be a family.

What an awesome place and hosts !

Went on our annual fishing trip to the UP. The place is amazing and the hosts are top notch. This place has everything you could want and more. We can’t wait to come back. Best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Wish I could give it more stars because they deserve it.

Everything we had hoped for and more

Great concept, great location! We were up there with friends to ride and check out the fall colors, there was a lot to do at the property when we came back in the evenings so we were able to relax and have a great time even when we weren't out exploring! 10 out of 10

Extended Family Vacation

This place was perfectly located for our trip! Short drive to local attractions and very very short drive to more than one local beach in case we didn’t feel like venturing out very far for the day! As described and we loved using the grill to cook so we had minimal dishes. The space is very well laid out for multiple families or big groups. Would love to visit again. Thanks!!

Grand Marias Jeeping

The place was just like it was described, our group of 17 people fit right in here, activities for the evenings, plenty of space for everyone be it games or chilling in front of the TV. The kitchen, the blackstone, awesome, perfect for the group! We try to move around to different places, but this will be on the list to return. Awesome is all we can say!!

Girls Trip

We organized a girls weekend with my family ranging in age from 5 to 87 years old. This place had everything we needed and then more. It was a great space that allowed everyone to be together and make memories while also allowing us enough space to spread out when we needed too. We were close to town and the beach so it was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming up in the Grand Marais area.

Great family time. 2025

We lost our daughter 8 yrs ago. Since then we try and have us all together every chance we can. We plan on a family vacation 1 time a year since we all live in different parts of the state and can work our busy schedule together. We haven't been able to do it every year but we try. This year we all agreed on Copper Barndominium. It has everything. Enough room for all of us. With them having a big place with toys for the Great Grandkids can play. And not have to worry about them. They were right there inside where we watch them. They had a blast. 5 minutes from Lake Superior. Frist time seeing it for most of us. Would definitely recommend to any one. We loved it. As my 3year old Great Grand Daughter said as we were leaving "this was awsome".

Copper top was a great stay for our group of 4 families with 8 kids from 2-13. Plenty of beds, seating, and kitchen space. Lots of toys and games to occupy littles and the basketball hoop/shuffleboard for the older and adult kids. Check in was simple, host was responsive, the rental was clean and very well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, and basic kitchen supplies/tools. It was the perfect headquarters for spending days at the beach and exploring the area. We would absolutely stay again if we visit the area again.

Copper Top was everything that was promised and more for our multigenerational family of 24!Highlights include-* Extremely Clean* Timely communication with host when needed* Excellent layout for large gathering* We cooked breakfast and dinner six of the seven days for our large group and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. * The house is set up for cards (Euchre of course!), plenty of dining space, and couches for relaxing. TV's, video games---We played so much basketball INSIDE---The best part is of course the location near the pictured rocks lakeshore and the charming town of Grand Marais. So much to do- minutes away.

Our family of 15 — teenagers, adults, and grandparents — spent an extended stay at this barndominium and it delivered for every age group. The space was perfect for our group size and was spotlessly clean from the moment we arrived.The hosts clearly thought of everything. Towels were more than plentiful, supplies for an extended stay were well-stocked, and when we ran into an issue they communicated quickly and worked to resolve it right away.The location is a gem. Just minutes from Grand Marais and a beautiful beach perfect for rock hunting, with Pictured Rocks within an hour's drive and plenty of hiking trails and lighthouse tours nearby.The amenities sealed the deal. The indoor Blackstone let us cook big meals for the whole crew without fighting mosquitoes. The hot tub was perfect after long days of exploring, the shuffleboard was a family favorite, and the indoor basketball kept the kids busy for hours. Two sets of washers and dryers kept laundry manageable, and the drink fridges were a lifesaver when the main fridge was packed with food for 15 people. Beds were comfortable and the temperature stayed pleasant throughout.We're grateful to the hosts for such a thoughtful, well-equipped space. Highly recommend for any large group looking to experience the Upper Peninsula
