This was our 3rd year booking this property, and our stay was great as always. The addition of the electrical hookup and water down by the pier came in very handy with our boats. House was clean and has everything we needed for the week. We even found a couple of kitchen gadgets that will now be ordered to have at home! Thanks for another great stay!

We had a great time with plenty of room for six adults and six children. The place had a lot to offer for everyone. The kitchen has plenty of appliances, the extra refrigerator in the garage sure came in handy. Alicia was available with any questions or concerns we had, super nice! I highly recommend this place for a family get away.

spacious home, new gas grill, large dining table for family meals, kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable. It was like living from home, except you have a lake in your backyard. Alicia was in constant communication whenever we had a question. Very enjoyable stay.

Great week on Chetek lake. Wonderful cabin located on the north (quiet) side of the lake. There was plenty of room for all (four children and six adults) to spread out or to eat a family dinner together. We loved the large deck facing the lake and the private setting. The nicely appointed interior was enjoyed by all. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay, and our visit to Lake Chetak. The property was beautiful and very spacious. Lots of places to do your own thing, or play games or whatever. Pool table, pac man in basement. loved playing crochet in the yard. Fire pit was nice, grill, and all of the outdoor seating. Rented the pontoon and that was nice as well. They have kayaks but we actually didn't use them. Overall, a very good experience and would do it again.

We had an amazing week at Birchwood Haven. Alicia and Erik were great hosts. They were quick to respond to any questions we had.The property was awesome. We had plenty of room for our group of 11. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need including an ice maker, air fryer, and numerous dishes and pots and pans.The kids loved the game room on the lower level.We rented their pontoon boat for the week. We had endless hours of fun swimming, fishing and sightseeing on the water. One of the highlights while on the pontoon was seeing a bear swimming across the lake.We would highly recommend this house!!

Family Vacation

We had a great time on our family vacation week at this home! The home was perfect for 3 families and was as advertised. We also very much enjoyed the lake and Birchwood area. Lots to do for the adults and children. We would definitely stay here again!

Family Vacation 2925

This is our 9 th summer family vacation with our grown sons and their families. This home served all our needs and is gorgeous and spacious. It had all the kitchen equipment, games, and outdoor gear that we needed. Thank you for a great week.

Great location and set-up to use as a base camp for the American Birkebeiner. 30 min to Hayward and 1hr to Trailhead in Cable.

Great large family vacation

Big house, well appointed, very nice. Everything was in great shape, the large amount of supplies/equipment/entertainment provided was great. Pretty much anything we needed, or could need was there. The lake is great, the location on the lake is great. Would rent again.

Family vacation 2024

Great home. Great location. Enough space for 10 adults and 3 little ones. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities on site. Our family could be together but had own space when wanting. Thanks for sharing your home!

Great family vacation home!

We had an amazing vacation at this house! Plenty of room for all of us, 6 adults and 7 children. So much to do each day. Kayaking, pedal boating, lots of fishing and a large yard for kids to run around. We rented the pontoon and spent every day enjoying the lake. Great kitchen and plenty of refrigerator/freezer room(a must with 7 hungry kids)! Communication with the owners was great! You will not be disappointed!

Awesome place!

Such a cozy and warm home on a beautiful lake! The teens loved their “den” in the basement and had a blast playing pool and Ms. Pac Man. Less than 30 minutes to Hayward. Super quiet lake- very little in the way of other boats and jet skis. The kitchen was super well stocked. We will be back!

Family vacation

Owners were great to work with, very attentive and responsed quickly. House has plenty of room for large families and nice open concept.Use of Pontoon was very convenient. House has plenty of kitchenware. Water quality is poor at dock. Upper and lower decks are great with plenty of outdoor furniture

Fabulous home for our extended family! Lots of room for everyone and all our activities.

This beautiful spacious home had everything we needed - Our adult daughters and sons in law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law with spouses all had separate Q bedrooms! renting your great pontoon put the cherry on top of our Lake Chetak great week! Thank you!!!

I can’t say enough about this lovely home! It’s honestly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. We were 9 adults and 3 kids, ages 7-11. The way the house is laid out, we never felt we were on top of each other. There were plenty of areas in the home to congregate or to take time out for yourself. We took full advantage of pontoon, 4 kayaks, pedal boat, fishing rods, basketball and much more. In the evening there were plenty of board games, puzzles, pool competitions, Pac-Man, Big Buck Hunter, S’mores and much more. Alicia always responded very quickly when we asked a question. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with plenty of dishes, cutlery, small appliances, kitchen utensils etc… There was also a large, additional refrigerator in the garage which was very handy for our big group. There was ample parking for everyone and then some.The house is 15 min. South of Stone Lake and 15 min.North of Birchwood. Stone Lake has indoor and outdoor pickleball courts and a sweet little grocery store. Hayward is 30 min. north, which is a great Wisconsin small town. We had a fish fry at Trailways on 27 which was excellent! It’s all you can eat and the fish was very lightly breaded. The staff was also very kind.I recommend this house without hesitation 100%.

Wonderful

The property is just as described, and worked perfectly for 6 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much anything you would need, and there were plenty of games/activities for the kids. Adults and kids loved playing Foosball and PacMan in the basement. There was plenty of room at the pier for all of our boats and we were able to take them out every day we were there. Communication was fantastic and any questions we had were answered very quickly. We had a great time. Thank you for the great week!

We loved the spacious kitchen, living room, and family room downstairs. The kitchen was well supplied; used the breakfast bar and counter often. Beautiful large dining table. Comfortable beds. Lots of dvds, games, etc. Adult kids loved the pool table. The deck is absolutely gorgeous. So comfortable with a great view! Kayaks and paddle boat were nice touches. This is on the north end of the lake fyi--10-minute boat ride to the sandbar and 20-minute boat ride to the south end of the lake. Not far to Stone Lake or Birchwood for supplies and gas. Owners responsive to any questions or issues. It was a joy to be there for the week and be able to enjoy fishing, the sandbar, and nearby towns for shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend!!!
