Rio Mar Luxury Beach Community Project is the ultimate gated beachfront development on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, just 60 minutes from Panama City. Rio Mar is one of the three top surf beaches in all Panama.

The design process of this project was focused mainly on creating elegant, clean and ample spaces with high ceilings, picture windows and fine finishes.

To tidy up your home and to keep it neat and clean, you will have at your disposal the services of a household cleaning staff that is available on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

EXTENDED STAYS:

Great oceanfront condo with beautiful grounds and pools!

Had a wonderful stay, great for families. The condo is steps away from the beautiful beach and had all the comforts of home . The amenities on site were great as well: restaurant, gym, several pools, game room. The place is nice and quiet. Our Host was very accommodating. We would definitely come back!

Amazing property! Spacious, comfortable, quiet, with unbelievable views. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, but also frequented the on-site restaurant/bar. Just a short walk to what we referred to as our "private beach" since there was rarely anyone there but us.

Wonderful Time

Not was a dream to stay here. Only problem there was a very bad smell in the master bedroom bathroom, the smell was coming from the bathroom floor drain. Other then that it was a amazing stay.

Rio Mar NYE Stay

The apartment itself was large and easily accommodated my whole family (4 adults, 2 kids). The view was absolutely spectacular. The kitchen was pretty bare bones in terms of basic spices etc (lots of times rentals have items that former renters have left behind, not so much here). Some of the electrical outlets were hanging off the wall and had crumbling plaster under them - wasn't sure how safe it was to plug anything in! The host was extremely helpful in her communication and helped us order taxis and sort out other details. The apartment complex itself and surrounding beach is beautiful - so relaxing, well maintained and truly a paradise. The only thing I would say is that you are quite far removed from everything (including grocery stores) and it was difficult to get transportation to the nearest city. We were there at a very busy time of year (NYE) so even a 10 minute drive to Coronado took us 55 minutes in bumper to bumper traffic on the highway. I would suggest renting a car if staying here so you can easily get around.

PANAMA AT IT'S BEST

The view is second to none. The condo has everything you need for a long term stay. Being on this side of building has a great advantage as you can see the sunrise (also sunset) but setting at the table on the terrace (on 11 Floor) you are in the shade most of the morning and this makes it so much more comfortable to sit and watch the surfers and drink your morning coffee. The 4 pools were wonderful. The SPA was completely book by the time we asked so if you want a SPA treatment book it as soon as you get there. Music on the deck one night was wonderful. We joke we went to Panama to see a Frenchman play guitar and sing Hotel California. But he was so very good. Once you make it down to the Black Sand Beach take a walk to the north and sit and have lunch and a drink at Las Olas Casamar (next the the waterpark). Everyone at the properties were very nice. The property Manager "Sery" was what makes staying here so nice. Anything you need and any question you have she is right there. I texted her and she always answered in seconds. I was having trouble finding a driver on Christmas Eve and she set up the most wonderful driver named "Federico" (Freddie). He is very knowledgeable and his stories about the history of the Country and Culture and made the trip to and from the airport very interesting. As the trip can take 2 hours each way. In all we had a wonderful time.

Ocean breezes, sound of ocean waves views

Views from this property were just stunning. We loved starting our day with cups of Panamian coffee out on the terrace listening to the ocean waves & birds. It was peaceful walking on the beach. Staff at the property, owner & property manager were very helpful.

Amazing Family Weekend

This location was absolutely amazing. The pool, restaurant, and beach were out-standing and convenient with kids. The apartment had all the things needed to stay in and cook or just relax in the AC. The beds were too firm for us but we spent most of our time out lounging by the pool or surfing at the beach. Highly recommended!!

Wow! Fantastic Place

We really enjoyed our time at this top line beach front complex and spa. Actually nicer that we thought it was going to be!! Surprisingly, the spa was full service and affordable, and the service was great. Perfect location especially if you like to surf or boogey board. The apartment was outstanding, very nicely furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay to include internet and cable tv. The pools were great, especially the pool located adjacent to the beach, great place to enjoy a few cocktails in the evening, but the balconies in the apartament were also very comfortable with great views. The restaurant on location was only open for lunch, it would have been nice to have dinner available also, but if you have a car, there are a few nice places in close proximity otherwise I would recommend that you stop at the grocery store and load up on some essentials before arriving. I would definitely recommend this location to my friends and we hope to return soon!

Rio Mar a great place for R&R

This Rio Mar apartment was a wonderful get-away for much needed R&R (rest and relaxation). The view from the 11th floor felt like we were somewhere between heaven and earth because when you looked out from the sliding window which could open up the entire length of the living room; there was the beautiful blue sky, and below was the amazing view of the ocean with the sounds of the waves that rocked us to sleep at night and woke us up in the early morning. The decor of the house was very nice. It has an Asian-inspired modern design complete with World-Market/Pier One-type furnishings. Very spacious and peaceful. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of room to hang and tuck away clothes for the week, and the bathrooms were very nicely designed. We loved that there was a washer and dryer and plenty of storage space in the fully stocked modern kitchen. Other amenities included; a guarded community, a nice work-out room on the 1st floor, and a number of small swimming pools to play in and sun-bathe by. The restaurant was nice (closes at 5 pm), as well as a Spa that you'll need to make appointments a day ahead of time. I wasn't accustomed to black sand at the beach, so that was a new experience. The beach was nice for early morning walks and exploration since it's not developed quite yet and over crowded with tourist. That in itself was nice and peaceful not to have a lot of people around. I can see, however that there are more developments coming in the next couple of years since there was construction of another high-rise building right next to the building (much to close), as well as a casino resort being built not far away. This construction, however did not hamper our vacation or our enjoyment of this jewel-of-a-place. The property manager, as well as the staff at Rio Mar were very nice, accessible, and accommodating throughout our entire rental process to the end. If you're coming in from Panama City, make sure you stop by the grocery store Super 99 to purchase groceries, and you'll be all set. Since the apartment is about 20 minutes from the shopping areas in San Carlo, it may be good to rent-a-car for transportation instead of relying on taxi's or a car service which can be costly. The location seems pretty central; 90 minutes from Panama City & about 30 minutes from other beach areas.We were able to hire a driver and go up in the mountains as well as down in the valley area to see sites.

Beautiful and amazing coastline and beach

We stayed for a week. Beautiful facility and very accurate to pictures and description. The beach and coastline are amazing and the weather was fantastic. We rented a car to get here from Panama City and would have felt very stranded without it. Felt isolated at times, couldn't just head out and walk to anything. Needed a car to get around. Enjoyed exploring the area and found all the groceries we needed in Coranado. The pool area is wonderful with the exception that there is no shade to be had. That was disappointing. Actually, that was the only downside. Otherwise, loved it and would recommend it to anyone.
