Originally known as Potters Camp in the early 1900s, Shore Acres Lodge is a unique collection of twelve mountain-style cabins along the shoreline of Big Bear Lake. Lakeside Cabin gives families and groups their own private cottage while providing access to the shared lakefront spaces and recreational amenities found throughout this historic Big Bear property.

Inside, the 817-square-foot cabin makes excellent use of its space with two bedrooms designed to accommodate larger families and groups. Each bedroom features a queen bed plus a full/twin bunk, allowing up to five guests per room. Both bedrooms also include streaming TVs and their own private three-quarter bathrooms, giving each side of the cabin added privacy and convenience when traveling with a larger group.

High-speed Wi-Fi and streaming entertainment make it easy to unwind indoors, while the Shore Acres setting puts some of the best parts of a Big Bear vacation right outside. Guests enjoy shared direct access to Big Bear Lake, along with a seasonal boat dock and fishing area for spending more time by the water.

During summer, the shared community swimming pool is available on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The lodge grounds also provide plenty of family-friendly recreation, including horseshoes, volleyball, outdoor table tennis, a kids swing set, and a large outdoor BBQ and picnic area. Gather beneath the pines, grill dinner on the provided charcoal BBQ, or simply relax and enjoy the lakefront atmosphere.

Up to two pets are welcome with additional fees, making Lakeside Cabin a convenient choice for families who want to bring their four-legged companions along. With local marinas and Big Bear Village within walking distance, your group can easily enjoy lake activities, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment before returning to your own cabin at Shore Acres.
