Klamath Overlook House. 3 bedroom 2 bath with amazing views

A quiet and secluded 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house overlooking the ocean. The house has been remodeled. This place is great for whale watching from the living room, birding on the deck and to enjoy the beautiful sunset overlooking the ocean.
Our house is perfect for families or small groups.
We can sleep 6 people (plus a full size sofa bed).
Kenton is second generation fishing guide so if you are interested in a fishing trip or scenic jet boat tours please let us know!
The space
The house it's self is more of a rustic cabin like feel.
Everything inside is finished with natural wood. We have installed a heating system as well for the living room and the master bed room. We also recently upgraded our internet to starlink, which had helped a lot on speed. The back deck has a propane fire pit and there is a ping pong table in the garage.
Other things to note
There are no grocery stores in the town of Klamath.
However, there are small markets. We recommend picking Up groceries before you reach Klamath.
Either Crescent City or Eureka whichever way you are traveling from. Also, cell service for certain providers is limited in the town of Klamath. We have starlink internet at the house that has been great so far. We also have an exterior only camera angled at the front/entrance of the house for security purposes when guests are not there.

For anyone looking to stay in Northwestern, CA this house is truly a hidden gem. We stayed for a few nights as we visited the Redwoods Parks and I would consider going back just to stay here and take in the view. Very pleased with out experience.

The house itself reminded me of a cabin in the mountains (we are from Tennessee, so I mean the Smoky Mountains) and words can't really describe that view - it is amazing. Don't let the drive up to the house intimidate you, it is a little rough. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was absolutely lovely, very private, the view was fantastic. The property was clean, the kitchen was lovely and very well appointed. Beds were comfortable linens and towels were very nice quality. The whole property was fresh and clean and very welcoming.The beautiful gas fire fixture on the back deck and the comfortable deck furniture was an unexpected joy. Add that to the amazing view of the river and the ocean and it made it a very relaxing and enjoyable getaway for all of us.

Beautiful views from the porch and it was a perfect size for our family of 4. It's location, in the middle of the Redwoods National and State Parks was perfect for exploring the area. We enjoyed the propane fire table on the porch during the cool evenings and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage.

Redwood Trip

We enjoyed our stay at the house! Plenty of amenities, and relaxation. We drove to Redwood trails and then enjoyed the beach a few miles north of the house! Great place!

Beautiful location

The home is gorgeous! That view is amazing and it was so cool being able to wake up to it everyday during our stay. Only sad thing was that our kids had the rooms with the best views. Was a great location, close to Redwoods National Park. Thank you so much! We had a blast.

Perfect home base for redwoods adventure

Wow. This was the perfect place for our redwood national parks visit. The house is perfectly situated between Jed Smith and Prairie Creek. Our destinations. After a few wonderful days of hiking and exploring it was great to come to this home away from home. The views are second to none and the home had everything we needed. We followed the advice to buy groceries before getting to the house and took advantage of cooking home meals as a family. The deck was great for morning coffee and night time s’mores. We had a wonderful stay.

Amazing Place

Simply wonderful place for us to reconnect and rejuvenate at the end of a long year. The view kept us mesmerized the entire time. The Klamath was roaring and the surf was rearing. The rain just added to the incredible experience. We had everything we needed in one cozy spot. We had my 80 year old mother in law with us and she wholeheartedly approved the spot! The level entry into the house from the drive and no steps in the house made it easy on her and made for an extra special time together. Well done Hosts!

Spectacular ocean view!

We only stayed for one night, but the house was set up with almost everything we needed. We couldn’t find coffee filters in the kitchen, but Kenton (the host) had someone bring them right over. One of the most important amenities to us was wifi and it worked very well at the house. Just be aware that there may be spotty to no cell service during the last part of your drive to and in Klamath. So make sure you have all your directions, security codes and other communication with the host completed before you get there. We had a very comfortable stay and we appreciated how extremely responsive and helpful Kenton was. We would definitely book this house again if we come back to Klamath in the future.

Perfect place to explore the Redwoods

This home was a wonderful, central location to explore the Redwoods. We made trips both north and south about 45 mins each way so this location was ideal. The home was very clean and the view was phenomenal. We had plenty of space for our group of 6. The front porch was our favorite place after a busy day tonlisten to the waves, enjoy a fire and relax. We had one minor concern and the owners took care of it right away for us. I highly recommend this home! group of
