Come stay at The Peacock Bungalow in the heart of Lake Worth Beach, Florida! This newly renovated 3 bedroom (all queen size beds), 2 full bath, inviting bungalow is near beaches (just a 5 min drive to Lake Worth Beach), golfing, dining and shopping. Perfect for families, or small groups, as it sleeps 8 with the queen pull out sofa. The 3rd bedroom has an upper loft which is great for kids and adults too. The private, fenced in backyard is an oasis with a heated pool, a 6 person Jacuzzi, a lounge space with a TV under a tiki hut, palm trees, a hammock, enchanting lighting and a screened in porch for dining.

The space

The Peacock Bungalow is a unique, relaxing and charming vacation home in the heart of the art district. The air-conditioned home consists of 3 bedrooms (with queen size beds in each), 2 full bathrooms (each has a hair dryer), a living room (with a queen size sleeper sofa) and a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher, blender and coffee machine). The 3rd bedroom has a loft style bed, as well as an office/reading room area below for those that want to get some work done in between dips in the pool! There is a washer and dryer, towels and bed linens are provided, as well as an iron and ironing board. There are board games available as well as corn hole boards and ring toss. There is a gas grill in the backyard. A high chair, and a foldable playpen/crib with a cushion, are available for you, as well as Wi-Fi and on-site parking.

Close to: just 1.6 miles from Lake Worth Beach Park, 3 min to Publix grocery store, and 7 miles from Palm Beach Kennel Club. Palm Beach County Convention Center is 7.5 miles away and Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is 7.5 miles away. CityPlace is just 7.7 miles away and Gulfstream Mall is 7.8 miles away. The nearest airport is Palm Beach International Airport, only 5.6 miles away.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and nicely kept. The backyard felt like a little paradise, so relaxing and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable and spotless. The pool and jacuzzi were amazing, though unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy them as much as we wanted because of the rain. Overall, it was a beautiful and enjoyable stay!

The house was perfect for me and my girls. The backyard is awesome. The house had all the supplies we needed. Nathan was great and made sure we had a great stay! Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

We had a fantastic time staying at this property. Everything was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was cozy yet spacious feel with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The location was perfect with close proximity to beaches, restaurants and stores. We loved the pool, which we used daily. Nathan was very responsive and helpful.Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

The cottage is great. The place was clean and had nice furniture. There is off-street parking. There is a pool and hot tub with a lot of private outdoor space. I will stay there again!

Great location, clean, responsive

We had a great stay at Peacock Bungalow. It was perfect for our short stay on the East Coast. Less than 5 minutes from the beach and plenty of things to do around, in the area. Everything was great for our stay and fit our family of 5, each kid having their own bed.

The peacock bungalow is a hidden gem! My family truly enjoyed all the amenities. The bonus room with the loft bed was perfect for my teens. The backyard was like none I have ever seen. My dog was in his glory running around. The location was close to was close to everything . Nathan the host was extremely responsive with all my questions. I will definitely be staying there again if I have the opportunity.

Well kept bungalow in good location. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Fabulous backyard with pool and tiki hut. Owner, Nathan, is very responsive and sent reminders regarding trash day, landscaper and pool service.

Amazing

The Peacock was amazing. We loved the decor and it was super clean! We had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and plenty of bath/beach towels and supplies. The hot tub was so very nice and the pool was so clean and heated. The tiki sitting area was perfect to play games and hang out. Lake Worth beach was 5 minutes away. Nathan was so nice and easy to contact. Thank you!

Spring Break 2024

Stayed here with my 2 daughters during spring break to visit my other daughter in Palm Beach Gardens. The house is as advertised. Very clean and the amenities are very nice. We loved the pool and outside TV. I-95 is close by and provides easy (though congested) access to west palm and Fort Lauderdale. I would recommend.

Quaint and Quiet

It is a lovely small house that never felt too small. The backyard, pool area and tiki hut with TV enhanced everything! The beds were comfortable, the pillows, nice and the bedding superb often not found in a VRBO. The fully fenced backyard was perfect for our dog. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, yet just around the corner is the bridge to the beach if that is your goal. The neighborhood is up and coming …quite a few renovations and modernizations starting to happen. We had a pleasant stay under unpleasant circumstances being evacuated for the hurricane in Tampa. But it turned out to be a lovely getaway.

The house had plenty of space and games and books available. We loved the back yard heated pool and tiki hut area with tv. It provided plenty of shade to escape the heat and relax outside. Morning coffee on the enclosed porch every morning was relaxing. House has everything you need. Plenty of towels, glassess, cooking needs etc. Close to beach and parks which was nice as well. Very clean as I usually clean when we arrive anyway cause you never really know but this house was cleaned pretty thoroughly so that was nice as it allowed us to settle in and get on with the fun.

Overall a great experience.

Stayed here for honeymoon so there was just adults. We picked this place as it had a pool and separate hot tub. Even though we went in mid July, we used the hot tub every night once it cooled down a bit. Pool stayed a warm temp without having to have it heated which is turned off during summer months anyways. Was concerned about mosquitos but there actually were not very many.Everything worked as expected, was able to reach the host easily and he kept communication throughout the stay. The only negatives came from the state of place. Nothing major just smaller issues. The front door took more effort to fully close so it didn't fully lock from the previous people causing us to contact the host as our code 'didn't work' until we got the door to fully lock first.The third bedroom/office has about a 2 inch difference in floor height. There is a strip of hazard trim in the doorway to make this more obvious but it is just glued to the floor with no rounding on the edge so it is pretty sharp. I hit the underside of my toes on this hard enough that if I wasn't wearing socks I most certainly would have cut myself. I actually did cut the top of my head in the pool, luckily not very much. The edge of the pool is lined with red bricks but they hang over the edge of the pool by many inches in some places and the edges are sharp. My wife lost a bit of skin also on her thumb grabbing the edge. Overall I would recommend, just a couple improvements that could make it safer.
