As part of the Trout Hills Condominiums nestled next a winding lake, Condo #712 has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, offers state-of-the-art amenities, the finest of furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen (with double oven, gas stove and icemaker), wireless internet access, digital music system, cable/satellite television, gas fireplace, dining room, washer and dryer, keyless entry, a private garage and an outdoor balcony with a ceiling fan overlooking the lake.

Both bedrooms feature queen sized beds, walk-in closets, ceiling fans, and on-suite bathrooms. The Condo is located on our main level.

Room rates DO NOT include a cleaning fee, damage waver and state/lodging taxes.

Weekend getaway.

Nice secluded place, a little creepy outside after dark because of not much exterior lighting. You need to bring your own soap and shampoo.

Peaceful

Very pretty place in the middle of no where. Could have been a bit better stocked, bar soap would have been nice. Coffee pot needs replaced. Once the barking dogs were taken care of the place was very quiet.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: TOTALLY GOUGED ME WHEN WE WERE ESCAPING FROM HURRICANE IRMA. THE SUPPOSED "OWNERS" LIED TO ME ABOUT WHERE I MADE MY RESERVATIONS. SAID I DIDNT' TELL THEM ABOUT MY DOGS ! i DID ! CHARGED ME $100 PER PET, 2 CLEANING FEES, AND THEN WE STILL HAD TO CLEAN CONDO OURSELVES. LEFT IT SPOTLESS, PROBABLY WONT GET MY DEPOSIT BACK. MANAGER CLIFF VERY RUDE TO ME WHEN THE POLICE HAD TO BE CALLED FOR A SERIOUS FAMILY MATTER. SAID TO ME DONT ACT LIKE THE "JERRY SPRINGER" SHOW ! . WOULDNT LEAVE WHEN POLICE ARRIVED , SO I COULD SPEAK TO THEM PRIVATELY. I THINK MY RIGHTS AS A CITIZEN TO PRIVACY MIGHT HAVE BEEN VIOLATED. THE LOCATION TO THIS PLACE WAS SO SO SO SO S0 REMOTE, TRAVELLING TO THIS LOCATION WAS VERY STRESSFUL. SUPPOSEDLY THEY HAVE A LITTLE GENERAL STORE ON PROPERTY, WHICH IS HUGE, NO DIRECTIONS, TO STORE, NEVER DID FIND IT. NO SHAMPOO FREEBIE OR SOAP half roll of toilet paper , no paper towel . took a genius to figure out just to figure out how to turn on tv , stove also gas , very complicated,. entire place was just AWFUL. would never ever RECOMMEND

Great Condo - Pictures Don't Do it Justice

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great, even better than the pictures. However, we were not too happy with the Highland Rim Retreat web overview compared to the reality. The horseback riding is for individuals who keep horses at the equestrian center; the heated swimming pool does not appear to have been in use for a very long time; and the general store was closed. The pool and horseback riding were the primary reasons we booked for three nights. The condo is easily 30 minutes from a grocery store, via winding, rural roads, so come prepared. We did enjoy the kayaks available for use in the small pond in front of the condos. I recommend this condo if you know what to expect.

This property doesn't exist, it's a rip off, and a potential trap

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: HORRIBLE!!! Do not book this property! It is a rip-off! The place is deserted with no cell phone connection, nor GPS. Once we arrived at the location we put in a code and went through an electrical gate to get to the property. The gate entrance was one way in and no way out! We drove down a gravel road to no where. We called the emergency contact number listed on our reservation for help and support. No one answered, nor returned our call until one hour later. We never reach Trout Hill Condo. It was a haunting experience. We left to return home. The owner called while we were half way home and said he was at a wedding and could not talk, and refused to give us a refund. He said he had to go to call back Monday. We lost $700 on a Condo that we never found, nor stayed in. This was a very hurtful experience for my family. We did not get to visit Falls Creek Falls which clossed at 5:00.

Nightmare

The management company had no information at the property regarding how to get anywhere for amenities...never found the pool or anything else....would not recommend this location to anyone...charged $100 resort fee for WHAT!

We are sorry you did not have a good stay and that you felt the information was inadequate. I remember responding to your text regarding how to use the automatic drip coffee pot and giving you directions to Fall Creek Falls State park when you asked for them. We have found that most people use mapping from their cell phone for most direction needs. I do not recall any questions from you about the location of the pool and other amenities inside the development but would have been happy to assist you if asked. Most of the amenities including the pool are just about a mile straight down the one main road inside the gate just past the condos. We also have maps of the development and location of the amenities on our website and information in our app that you can download and is referenced in the rental agreement. I am sorry that you did not find any of that information or reach out to us with questions so that your stay would have been more satisfactory for you.

Great cabin!!!!

Super fun weekend hiking at Fall Creek Falls. Super nice cabin and very convenient to Fall creek Falls. I would highly recommend if you are going to the park!

The actual property is very well maintained and fully functional with full kitchen/washer and dryer. Our only disappointment is the distance it was to any facility whatsoever! Absolutely nothing available within a 30 minute drive.

This place is a hidden jewel!

Property and unit was immaculate and well-kept. It is out of the "hustle and bustle" of the crowded state park. The surrounding nature is gorgeous and there are ample grills / campfire spots on the property. We are making this an annual thing. Absolutely LOVE it!!
