Lovely home in golf community

Enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable & clean. Nice to have individual bathrooms for each bedroom. Good communication with owner. Loved having coffee on the patio early morning and watching the sun rise. Quiet and beautiful. Very comfortable beds and lovely towels. Totally recommend staying there!

An ideal place for two couples, almost a two-master arrangement. The place could use a little cosmetic TLC and needs more capable WIFI and internet. But, we'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

I love Borrego

Borrego is such a magical place . The house was situated perfectly to view the valley and surrounding mountains as well as the golf course. So enjoyed having coffee or wine on the patio and watching the birds and other wildlife.

Canā€™t beat the views, wake up to mountains and a golf course. Patio works for star gazing too. Fairly close to the shops and restaurants. Only downside is kitchen, bath and rooms are dated. Otherwise nice and clean, will stay again.

Overall, the accommodations were clean and roomy. The beds were super comfortable. There were a few basics missing like salt and ice, and the bbq was down the street not on site. But we made due and enjoyed ourselves. Would stay here again.

Monique is an excellent host and responds quickly to any questions. This was our third stay at her home. It has been updated with fresh paint and a redone kitchen. The home is bright, clean and comfy. WiFi works great. A pool, hot tub, tennis court and pickleball court are an 800 yd walk down the hill. We used all of the amenities. First day the pool was at least 80. My 2nd swim a few days later wasnā€™t quite as warm. It is quiet and empty. The pool table is fun. Weā€™ll be back.

Great house with beautiful views

Loved this spacious two bedroom with a pool table, Roku tv, and sunrise views. We stay in Borrego often and will stay here again. Itā€™s quiet and very clean and comfy. We didnā€™t go to the pool area due to winter weather. The owner and manager made the check in flawless.

Very comfortable and well stocked home in quiet neighborhood. Gorgeous sunrise from the patio!Stay includes use of Community pool and courts. Have your access code available when you arrive. No cell coverage in the area to look it up on your phone. Ray manā€™s the entry gate and is very helpful.

Great time

House was great, terrific views and location. Walked to the jacuzzi almost every night. Being the patio such a focal point for us for the location within the complex and the views, it should've been cleaned prior to us arriving. Outdoor furniture was full of bird poop, and leaves were all over the floor. We cleaned it and enjoyed it every day after. Overall we had a very nice stay.

My business partner and I had a large irrigation project in the area and this was a perfect option for us. Our stay was for only 3 nights. Working all day this property provided the perfect oasis for a home cooked meal. Our plan was to take advantage of the golf course too, but time did not allow. The unit is on the golf course and provided spectacular views of the golf course, the stars at night and the mountains at sunset. This is a no frills place. a little dated, but it's Borrego and gave us the desert feel.Enjoy,NP - San Diego

The property was nice and quiet. There are a few things you should plan ahead for. Get the access codes early, it can be difficult to get them. If you're planning to work from there, know the internet in the area is not great so bring a hot spot or take some time off. Monique took care of us.

Beautiful, clean and quiet

We enjoyed our stay in Borrego Springs at this 2 BR / 2 Bath unit. It was close to the pool area, which was nearly always empty. The unit was clean and quiet, and had a lovely view on the back patio to enjoy breakfast in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening. Lots to do in Borrego Springs - we enjoyed viewing the spring wildflowers, discovering the sculptures scattered around the valley, and hiking the slot canyon. We ate at the Rams Horn Burger and Shakes near the park, and a nice dinner at Red Ocotillo. We also enjoyed our own cooking several evenings at the unit, which had everything we needed to make a fine meal. Definitely hope to return again.

Could be nicer

Itā€™s quite dated, tired looking and really could use some nicer furnishings. The couch is one of the most uncomfortable things to sit in. Electrical had issues (which apparently a prior guest had as well). Almost nothing on the walls and the master bathroom toilet is almost impossible to use without getting into the shower so you can close the door. Location is beautiful so make the home a little bit nicer.

Loved the area

We had a great trip to Borrego Springs and enjoyed the view and location. This rental has a lot of potential, but hadnā€™t been properly cleaned. There was weird goo on the bedside table, crumbs in the microwave, then patio hadnā€™t been swept and the outside table was covered in bird poop, but the worst was the master bathroom. The toilet had cockroaches in it and what looked like smears of poop. And smelled horrible. We flushed the toilet and closed the door and then used the second bathroom the whole time. The smell didnā€™t dissipate the whole time we were there and since the bathroom was carpeted may be something that requires new flooring. The place in general was stained and dingy, but with a little work could be great. We enjoyed the view, pool, and walking to the restaurant on the golf path.

Adequate but in need of TLC

We have stayed in numerous condos in the Rams Hill complex. This place was adequate but needs some care and updates. The sliding glass door in living room was almost impossible for me to open. It could be easily fixed. There were NO towel racks in the main bathroom. Another easy fix. Most of the door frames throughout the condo were marred and in major need of some cleaning and paint. Generally the condo has not had the care it needs to be a rental I would want to return to. Itā€™s too bad as the location is excellent and the potential is all there.
