Although we originally booked this home because it was pet friendly, we opted not to bring our little maltipoo. The home was spacious and comfortable; the sheets were soft, the beds and pillows nice. However, there was no WiFi for the entire time of our stay, and the fireplace did not work, which took away the ambiance of a cozy Christmas getaway. The left sink in the master bath had no cold water, although the right side sink was fine. Several lights in the master vanity were out. All the appliances in the kitchen worked fine, but the ice maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator did not work, so we had to buy ice. The dishwasher and washing machine were also very loud. The backyard was a mess. There were leaves in the pool, and most concerning was that there was no safety rail around the pool. We are aware that there are different standards for different locations, but we would not have brought a toddler to this home during warmer weather for fear of an accidental drowning. The firepit outside worked fine, but we needed to wipe down the furniture (luckily we had brought some cleaning wipes, because there were no spray cleansers in the house, although there was plenty of dish soap and dishwasher detergent, as well as laundry detergent.) We also had no check-out instructions, so we stripped the beds, took out the trash, wiped down as much as we could in the kitchen, started the dishwasher, and put all the towels and sheets in the laundry room.
