One room guest house with French doors leading to spacious deck, ocean views, less than 1/2 mile walk to Back Beach, vaulted ceiling with sky lights and quiet ceiling fan, heat, and AC. All brand new. Wide pine floors and slate tiling in bathroom. Kitchen fully furnished granite counter top. Love seat with extra bed. Antique wood/coal stove: Petit Godin, adds warmth and charm for an off season visit. Enjoy the 'cloud nine' Serta queen sized mattress on the Murphy Bed, which folds away to preserve the open feeling and added living space. Wifi & Smart TV included.

The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. The rental was immaculate, warm and well stocked. Their little dog was in the yard and so very sweet and well mannered. I felt like I was home.

A comfortable and cozy place with everything you would need from bathroom amenities to all of the kitchen essentials and then some. Frank and Sally (and their dog Macaroon) were friendly and helpful. Will hopefully stay there again.

A gem on the New England coast

This is a fantastic cottage close to the center of Rockport. The accommodations were excellent and the hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Our only regret was that the trip was so short. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to everyone

Cozy and close to everything

My husband and I had a wonderful time. Great hosts, everything you need is in the cottage and everything else is a short walk down the road.Hope to visit again one day.

Cozy Winter Weekend

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day long weekend. Accomodations were beyond perfect, parlor stove is a welcome cozy treat for a winter evening. Rockport has plenty to offer visitors in the winter, although the studio is so comfortable its just as nice to lounge around. Special thank you too the hosts for making us feel so welcome and comfortable.

Great Getaway

Loved the location and the cottage. The cottage had everything we could need and more for a wonderful and relaxing getaway. The owners were very easy to contact and even reached out to us to see if we needed anything else. Highly recommend!

Restful and relaxing

We were there in part for our wedding anniversary but mostly, we needed a vacation. The owners are lovely people. While we were there, we were able to sleep in when we wanted. It also was conveniently located so we could explore Cape Ann, visit Plumb Island and other towns in between. There were also a great variety of restaurants to choose from. Thanks Sally & Frank!

Long Weekend on Cape Ann

Visiting the area for a family celebration and enjoyed staying in this adorable cottage. Views were spectacular and the amenities were plentiful. The Murphy bed was very comfortable. While our visit was short, this property is fully stocked for a longer stay. The property owners were very attentive, making sure all of our needs were met. Definitely recommend for any length of stay.

Fantastic Stay

The cottage we rented was clean, had every item we needed, and the owners were truly looking out for our every need. Sally even baked a cake including a candle for my birthday! Great cottage, amazing hospitality would definitely stay again! Thank you !!

Perfect escape!

It exceeded the expectations of the photos and description. Made for a perfect stay for a much needed getaway. We loved meeting the hosts and their puppy Macaron. The studio was so well appointed and comfy. Even on a rainy day it made for a cozy place to nap and relax. We recommend highly!

Fantastic stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Sally and Francis’ studio. It was just perfect. The owners thought of every detail, even baking us an anniversary cake (which was delicious). The property is immaculate and comfortable, and the deck is amazing. We had such a fabulous stay for our anniversary. Thank you again, Pam & Doug.

Bliss by the Ocean

Sally May, Frank and their puppy Macaroon are wonderful hosts! They really make your stay top notch. The recommendations on restaurants was fantastic, the studio was extremely clean and well stocked. They really anticipated their guests needs. Location is the perfect spot, right near Rockport and a short drive into Gloucester. Opening the curtains to a beautiful sunrise really makes the stay very serene!

Christmas week visit

Perfect for me over the holidays. Hey, Rockport is great in the winter and this place made it more so. Great place and owners who added some lovely holiday touches. Sally was very helpful and went out of her way to quickly send me shoes which I left at the rental. 5 stars for cozy, charmingly decorated space, great location easy walk to Rockport Center and Halibut State Park , and kind and considerate owners.

Amazing

The property was amazing so very cute and cozy, My partner and i didn't want to leave. There is everything you could use. and if not sally and her husband were right there to provide it, they are wonderful property owners. we will definitely be back.

HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED!

This little house was so awesome. Sally Mae and Frank were so sweet to us (and what a great baker Sally Mae is)! Even though it is a "studio" everything we needed was there...plus!!! What a view. Everything was super clean. We visit MA once a year and we will totally stay here again. Thank you Sally Mae and Frank!

Perfect!

Motif #2 was wonderful! The space is good for a couple, and we were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. Sally May and Frank were perfect hosts. The studio had everything we needed and more for our three night stay. Lots of sunshine during the day and quiet at night. The mattress was the best we’ve ever slept on!

This is the one!

If you’re staying in the area, this is your place! Sally and Frank have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and convenient. They were very thoughtful with everything they have set up. They also offered great recommendations for where to go in the area. They’re wonderful hosts! The house itself is great! It’s super clean and well stocked with anything you’ll need, including a view of the water right from the deck. It was very hard to leave!

Perfect get away!

We stayed here to celebrate an extended Valentine's weekend and my boyfriend's birthday..could not be happier! Cottage was quaint,well appointed, phenomenal view, private deck and warm and cozy atmosphere with an artist's flair - gorgeous! Loved the painters pallet art on the wall, by the way. Fresh flowers on the table and a guest journal made it very inviting. Would definitely stay here again. 10/10

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I stayed at Sally and Franks place for our 40th anniversary getaway. From the moment we pulled in, the place and hosts did not disappoint. We were greeted by our hosts. Who are the most gracious couple ever. We entered the studio to lovely music playing, a homemade chocolate zucchini cake for our anniversary from Sally, and the place so welcoming and immaculate! Sally and Frank have truly thought of everything to make this place feel like home. There is a wonderful view, and bearskin neck is short walk. This is the only place I would consider staying if I visit Rockport again.

Beautiful!

Motif #2 was more than we expected! Walking distance to watch the sun rise over the ocean and cozy in the rain. Rockport, even in January, is a gem. We were welcomed with cookies and were amazed at how well thought out the studio was. It does not lack for anything. A glorious 1st of January with warm Temps and sun also helped!

Nice easy “time off”

It was so easy to arrange this stay. Sally and Frank made it so accommodating; the place has everything you need. I loved the little touches like a vase of fresh flowers. Down the street are beautiful beaches, fresh seafood restaurants, and the best doughnuts ever (Brothers Brew). Also down the street is the Shalin Liu Performance Center - the stage is against a picture window to the water! I will be back. Sally and Frank made this adventure easy with their info and help.
