Enjoy your stay directly on the Riverwalk in the heart of Downtown San Antonio. This apartment is also beside & offers views of the historic San Antonio Courthouse where you can often see outdoor weddings & the San Fernando Cathedral where you can catch a glimpse of the fabulous light/music show that is projected on this beautiful church Tues - Sunday evenings around 9:00PM. This is a very walkable location & only 1/2 mile from the famous Historical Alamo. You are only steps away from delicious dining, exciting attractions, great night life and entertainment.

This historic building is one of San Antonio's historic locations and has a lot of originality and charm along with it's nostalgic decor. Check out the old mail shoot that is located next to the elevator that residents used to send their mail for the post man to collect. It is not a working mailbox, so don't mistakenly mail a letter :)
This apartment also has a K-cup coffee maker with a supply of coffee, creamer & sugars for your convenience.

Room was very clean. The building smelled pretty bad outside the room. There is a show that is very loud at 9pm every night. It only lasts an hour but it is very loud. Location is great and I wasn’t in the room during the show so for the most part was unbothered. Great stay!

This is a fabulous property that is very central and easy to get to things. I ran along the river walk every day and I was attending a conference at the convention center and it was easy to get there. Highly recommend

Vintage and cozy!

I personally love vintage buildings and this building oozed perfect vintage! It was cozy and it felt right at home! It was super clean and the way it was decorated was just superb! The bed was so comfortable that we just slept through the whole night without any tossing and turning! This page is a must for any couple!

Great stay

The online description was accurate. We enjoyed our stay. It has a good location near the Riverwalk and was convenient for the Final Four game we attended at the Alamodome. Beautiful lighting in the apartment as well - very bright and sunny which we enjoyed!

Perfect for a weekend for two!

Husband and I were in town for concerts at the Aztec theater and chose this apartment for the weekend. It was so convenient being in walking distance to everything. The decor was perfect to brighten up the space and the music on arrival was a lovely touch. 10/10

Quaint Oasis near Riverwalk

Perfect home away from home in San Antonio. Walkable distance to everything. All instructions were clear and suggestions for parking appreciated. Beautiful home. Thoughtful little knickknacks and cute decor. Will stay again.

Great Stay on the River in San Antonio

Wonderful time in San Antonio. This apartment was just as promised. So cute and cozy- perfect for my husband and me. Very comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen and roomy bathroom. Easy walk to the Riverwalk, the Alamo and Historic Market Square. Angela was a great host and promptly answered all my questions.

Quaint near RiverWalk

Loved the eclectic decor overlooking the city. Immaculate.Parking was expensive at public parking lot and unloading was a little complicated with the inclement weather.It was great for 2 of us. Tight quarters, but nice use of space. Loved being so close to River walk a views of the city.I would recommend especially for a shorter stay with much to do locally.

Thank you. Just to mention, this space is much larger than a standard hotel room that you could book in the area. It comes with a separate living room and a kitchenette which is not included in a typical hotel stay. This property is directly on the Riverwalk and you will not find this much space without paying double or triple the price on the Riverwalk. I have had families of 4 stay in the space quite comfortably

BEWARE: I really wanted to love this space - we had booked it for a small overnight Christmas trip for our 6 yr old son. We checked in at 4pm and immediately went to dinner. We arrived back at 8:45pm just in time for a very loud concert to start across the street from 9-10pm. We were frustrated but understand these things happen -- the host even left earplugs but a "heads up" would have been nice. Our son was exhausted. At 11:30pm the HVAC started making a very, very loud noise (even when turned off) and I scrambled to contact the host. She had no number listed. I had to contact VRBO and wait for an operator to connect us. When I finally reached her, we tried everything but the noise wouldn't stop so I let our host know we would have to move. She offered to call after-hours maintenance but this place is very small (maybe 400 SF) and it was already past midnight. Where was I supposed to put our son to rest? He was screaming and scared b/c it was so loud. How long would it take to diagnose the problem? Would they even have the parts? Given all this - we had to leave. It was 1am. We had to drag our belongings down the street to a hotel & rebook there. Now, our host & VRBO are declining to refund our stay. I've booked many stays over the years and I've always been positively rated. I care for these places like my own & treat my hosts with respect. I would expect the same in return. So, if you have any issue, you are on your own - very disappointed with this host & VRBO.

The guest expressed significant frustration and was quite demanding and rude regarding the AC issue. Her hysteria surely caused more anxiety for those around her. Maintenance was contacted immediately, and the problem of the very slight humming was resolved within approximately 30 minutes. Despite the prompt repair, the guest requested a refund. When a refund was not issued because the problem was quickly resolved, she retaliated with a nasty review. For future guests, I encourage you to read the many positive reviews from previous stays, which reflect the consistent experience we strive to provide. This particular review appears to be influenced by the refund request rather than the overall condition or management of the property.

The place is great!

Eclectic, 'shabby-sheik' but totally functional, clean, and very nice views of the cathedral, San Antonio Saga laser show, Courthouse architecture, etc. All this right while you sit at the desk. Full kitchen. Large tub; shower head could be replaced. Good A/C and ceiling fans give total control of temp. Only knock besides shower head is not in owner control but almost always homeless folks outside or near the door/entrance. Terrace is very pleasant with riverwalk views. We would rent again which I think is the best thing we can say.

Great location

Overall, our stay at this property was good. The location was walkable to all the attractions and you can watch the saga light show at St. Fernando Cathedral right out the window. The bed was comfy and the apartment was clean. There were a couple things that would have made the stay better or that I wish we had known before hand. There are a couple restaurants on the bottom floor of the apartment building and there is an odor in the lobby and the hallways that I’m not sure can be remedied. The smell is a little overwhelming for those who have a sensitive nose. Once in the apartment the smell dissipates. The shower head is very low which wasn’t a problem for me but my husband is over 6 ft and it was a little challenging for him. One of the most surprising things was there was no dresser, hangers for the closet, or luggage stands. We had to put our suitcases under the beds and pull them out anytime we needed anything which was very inconvenient. The apartment is nicely decorated, but I have never seen more throw pillows in a small place in all my life. I think the space could be better utilized and there would be somewhere to store your belongings while visiting. The host was very attentive and responded to all of my messages within minutes and we very much appreciated that. The apartment was worth the price for the location.

Regarding the decor, we understand that style is subjective, but we ask that reviews focus on aspects of the stay that can be improved, rather than personal preferences for decoration.
