This was our second stay in this very nice VRBO. The property itself is modern, well furnished, clean, pleasant and well maintained. It is also in a very secure, pleasant neighborhood near the center of Payson. The host is a pleasant, generally helpful person who maintains the property well. However, he is a procrastinator. Last May, at the end of our first stay, I told him that the sliding screen door that should be on the sliding door was missing. Before I made the reservation for our second stay, I called to see if he had added a new screen door. He had not, but said he would. I called a couple months later and got a "No worries" answer. A week before our scheduled arrival date, I called yet again and he said he didn't think he would get around to replacing it. We arrived to find out he had not. We were not amused. Now the missing screen door isn't a major thing, but if you want fresh air, you will have to put up with the insects that inevitably come in, and possibly any critters that find the opening interesting. If the missing door is important to you, you should do what you can to confirm that the host has replaced it, or rent something else.If it isn't important to you, by all means rent the property. You won't be disappointed, it is very nice. Just don't count on the screen being in place.
