Morning Glory Villas occupies 1.5 acres of beautifully manicured tropical garden is just a stroll (2 minutes) from the beautiful private Mammee Bay beach with its powdery soft sands and beach club.
This large property “Over the Moon & "Sanora"
offers 5, 3 or 2-bedrooms accommodation.
The two master bedrooms have Californian king beds, the third bedroom a Queen bed and the other two bedrooms 3 & 2 twins each (or double).
There are also sofa bed in the lounges.
All our comfortable bedrooms have walk in wardrobes, en-suite shower and bathtubs, AC, and ceiling fans.
Large open living and dining areas, two fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, complimentary (free) high speed wireless Internet, daily housekeeper and veranda to relax or dine.
The property is quiet, very clean, and in a secure environment with 24-hour mobile security patrol.

The beach club amenities includes:
Restaurant and bar ‘Bamboo Blu’ (best lobster in town), gift shop, changing rooms with shower facilities, gymnasium, volleyball court, hair braiding and on site masseurs.
Guests can relax on one of the many loungers with a fruit cocktail or stronger.

Mammee Bay Estate is the premier resort in a gated community on Jamaica's north coast; 10-minutes drive west of the lively resort town of Ocho Rios, perfect for shopping, restaurants, bars and nightlife. Dunn’s River falls; Dolphin Cove, Mystic Mountain and many other signature attractions to include scuba diving, snorkelling, Jet Ski, glass bottom boats, other water sport activities are minutes away.

All the fun and entertainment of the North Coast resort town of Ocho Rios are easily accessible or you can just enjoy the privacy and solitude of your own space with the beach just a short stroll away.

The property was beautiful and was a perfect venue for our event. Not all listed amenities were available. Or if they were available they were not always working properly. But Claude was always quick to solve any problems that arose. Claude was very nice and was a very welcoming host. Staff was friendly and helpful as well.

We loved staying at Morning Glory. It allowed for a family of 11 to be on one property without falling over each other. It is near to Bamboo Beach and it has daily access.The rooms were always clean and Ms. Margaret did a great job providing meals (breakfast and Dinner) for us on a daily bases. Claude, the owner lives on property, which gave us an added sense of security.

Relaxing

Our group had a wonderful stay. This home is exactly as advertised. Set in a quite neighborhood we were able to relax and enjoy the beauty of the property and the beach which is short walk away. The host and staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here with friends and family for my birthday. The location was amazing, the housekeeper was extremely nice and the manager/owner was very kind to everyone. The beach is walking distance and very beautiful. They serve great food and drinks. We had no issues at all here! I would recommend this residence.

Excellent Hospitality

Neighborhood is very safe and beautiful, The grounds of the estate is more beautiful than the pictures. The owner, Mr. Claud is the most gracious host. He brought his sugar container from his home to provide us with sugar, which we forgot to buy. Margret- she is an angel. She is the most plesant house keeper one can ask for. She cooked us some of the most delicious breakfast and lunch.

The Best Villa Experience Ever!!!

We had a wonderful time at Morning Glory. The property is very well kept, clean, and the best manicured lawns. Our host, Mr. Claude, came over to meet us the same night we checked it and heard us doing Karaoke. He told us about a restaurant that does Karaoke every Tuesday night and reserved us a table. We had a blast!!!

Beautiful, Peaceful, and Perfect for Families

Our experience staying at Morning Glory Villas in Mammee Bay Beach was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The property is spacious, clean, and very family-friendly, with lush greenery, palm trees, and a peaceful atmosphere throughout. We especially loved the veranda area, which was perfect for enjoying the quiet breeze and taking in the beautiful surroundings.The rental process was smooth and straightforward. Communication with the property manager was timely and professional, and we felt well-supported before and during our stay. The team managing the property was friendly, helpful, and respectful of our space, always ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive.The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, with food options nearby and easy access to Ocho Rios and Drax Hall. The property also felt very secure, which gave us peace of mind during our entire visit.One of the best features of the villa is its layout. Lovely GetAway

Ms. Margaret and the grounds staff are absolutely amazing. However my family and I were not happy with the TV and WiFi which was not stable at all. This was very important to us as we had kids with special needs who needed to use their electronic devices but we’re unable to do so. Also the shower (1st floor - main house) needs fixing, occasionally bursts of boiling hot water would rain down on us even when it was just the cold tap on. However, overall it was a nice stay. It’s very close to many tourist attractions which was a plus for the kids. Thank you Mr. Burton for your hospitality.

Hi Michelle Sorry to hear about the shower, not sure why you didn’t mention it to your housekeeper Margret or me. Sounds like the shower head, which is an easy fix or replace. Unfortunately, it saddens me to inform you the internet is still not working (7 days now). Our service provider, a multinational by the name FLOW has failed the whole estate miserable. It appears they are having challenges, because all we get from them are excuses and promises. We don’t have TV, internet or landline since before you left till now. I can assure you, this is not the norm and thank you for your patience. Apart from that, I’m happy to hear you all enjoyed your stay and I look forward to welcoming you, the children and the family again. Claude

Jamaican Paradise

Six of us stayed at the two Morning Glory properties for one week and then 3 of us stayed on, in the smaller Sanora house, for four nights. It's a delightful place: simple with all the basics; spacious gorgeous grounds that Joe keeps meticulous; tidy and clean houses that Margaret amazingly maintains. Margaret will also cook bountiful and delicious meals at your request for a small fee. Both houses have large verandas to use for dining and relaxing. Plan on bringing in your own staples like coffee, sugar, spices, etc. Both Claude and Joe live on property, so you always have help when and if you need it. Claude has a list of drivers who can get you almost anywhere you need to go. Rohan was our favorite, driving us to the Ochi open air market and helping us pick our produce. He also drove us up to the Worthy Park Rum distillery about 45 minutes away (highly recommended). Morning Glory gave our group an opportunity to escape the US winter, be together, yet have tons of space to be alone when we needed it. Mornings (afternoons and eves) were indeed glorious here at Morning Glory.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at these two houses. It’s a wonderful location with a 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach that you get passes to and have free chairs. There is also a great little restaurant right on that beach that was very reasonable prices and good food. A few things to note about the houses is that the main areas do not have air conditioning so the kitchen and living room get very warm. We tried leaving the door open but the mosquitoes were so bad we had to close it. Definitely bring bug spray. All the bedrooms have great air conditioning and very comfortable to sleep in. The house will only comfortably sleep 11. We had 12 so one kid has to sleep on the pull out sofa mattress. He didn’t mind but an adult would not be comfortable on it. The grounds of the house are beautiful and you do feel like you are on a tropical island with the beautiful flowers and trees. The housekeeper was very sweet. Just know that if she cooks for you you do have to go buy all the things for it yourself. We didn’t have a car so we couldn’t use her. Also remember that you can’t drink the water in the house if you aren’t local so you need to bring lots of bottled water. There is a supermarket very close to the house that has everything. If you want a simple nothing fancy house for a group and don’t mind no air in the main areas this is a great find for the price. We would definitely stay again if we are back in the area for a few days.

Jamaica Family Reunion Summer 2019

From our first conversations, Claude Burton was gracious, welcoming and easy! My sister dropped off groceries and announced at airport when she collected me, "You're going to love it...and you're going to love Margaret (our housekeeper)! She's warm and fun! And the place is everything listed on the website!" We had a hectic schedule to see family and to visit historical and cultural sites so we took advantage of the early morning and late evenings to enjoy the property. Most days we were welcomed by the warm smiles of Mr. Mills at the security gatehouse at the neighborhood entrance. The lifeguard and other young people at Bamboo Blue greeted us with cheerful good mornings each day as we made our way to the beach for early morning walks and swims. From time to time, Joe -- our groundskeeper -- brought us fresh-roasted breadfruit from the tree on the property for breakfast. Joe shared other gifts from the property, including making us lemongrass tea one evening. We often sat on the verandah chatting and laughing late into each evening...we were so comfortable we often ended up nudging each other to quiet down so as not to disturb the Burtons and Joe and his family who live on property. We were wonderfully comfortable with the openness of the space...we could come and go freely without having to open and shut a gate. And the open plan layout of the two villas was perfect for our us as we made meals together and schlepped cooking pots and serving dishes across the lawn to eat all our meals on the verandah of the larger villa. Mr. and Mrs. Burton were away enjoying a summer music festival when we first arrived and when they returned and heard our agenda, they noted that we would miss the annual cultural festival at Seville Great House at the top of August. I loved that they are tied into and appreciate the deep history and culture of the parish and the island. This family trip made deep impressions on all nine of us...and having your space as a landing spot helped engineer this in a big way. Thanks for being such lovely hosts! I hope you'll let us come back soon! And we look forward to referring friends and family to visit as well!

3 Villas in herrlichem Park gelegen, mit Papageien-Gehege nebenan. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal (Housekeeper, Gärtner). Gute Küchenausstattung, neue Kaffee-Maschine wäre sinnvoll. In 5 Minuten Zugang zum Strandabschnitt Blue Bamboo funktioniert problemlos, Bewirtung dort relativ teuer, haben in der Nähe schon bessere Strände gesehen. Zentrale Lage an der Nordküste mit vielen Restaurants (Empf.: Journey to India mit pick-up Möglichkeit in Ocho Rios oder Starliner Seafood in Priory) und nur 90 Minuten über Highway von/nach Kingston. Wir haben Morning Glory Villas sehr genossen!

Best week ever

I’ve stayed all over the world and recently moved to Kingston for work for two years. My co workers and I have fallen in love with the bamboo blu beach club and beach so when I found out this house was literally two driveways away I knew would be perfect. Upon arrival I realized even the beautiful pictures of the property didn’t do it justice . The property is the best in the whole community and the houses are so lovely. At night you can see all the stars as you eat on one of three porches! We did our family /co worker thanksgiving here with 5 kids 13 adults and a dog and all had the time of our lives. We then went to Dunn falls with the kids which was only 7 minutes away. Claude was so accommodating and wonderful !! I will plan to stay here many more times !!

The listing does not do justice to the full experience of Mr. Burton's property. The grounds are immaculately maintained, communication was perfect with our host, and we felt truly at home for the duration of our stay. I will not only recommend but will be sure to stay here whenever I am in Ochi.

Truly a Home Away From Home!!!

We would like to thank Mr Burton from the tips of our toes for his hospitality. We had a great experience at the villas. Better than we could have imagined. Mr Burton and his Wife were available for any questions and made sure that we had everything we needed to our comfort. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and immaculately kept. Thanks to Joe for the work you do. Our villas were clean and well kept during our stay. We made use of Ms Margaret for some of our meals for a small daily fee. Ms Margaret is an excellent cook and we enjoyed her company as well as her cooking. She will be sorely missed. If there were just a way to bring her back to the States with us! lol The beach is walking distance away. There is a restaurant with good food and we took full advantage of it while getting some well needed rest and relaxation. All in all, we all were very sad that our time had come to leave Morning Glory Villas. We plan to do it again next year October. I encourage anyone looking to rent a villa in the Mammee Bay area to book this location. You will not be disappointed. Until next year our home away from home.....until next year.

Well kept villa. Claude, Margaret, and Boston were supper awesome. Any questions and request we have they quickly tried and resolve for us. Definitely will be going back. Thanks for a wonderful stay. N.P. Florida

Beautiful vacation home away from home

Claude and his team took excellent care of me and my family from start to finish of my vacation. I would definitely recommend Morning Glory to my friends.

Wonderful place to stay

We were last there, in 2007, and we had a wonderful time. We were staying at The Willow, then we had a free upgrade, to the Bigger Villa next door. Upstairs and downstairs. wonderful staff. Nice private Beach. I cannot wait to go back.

BEAUTIFUL

This was our third visit to Morning Glory Villas. As with each of our visits we had a wonderful time. We enjoy the villa and the staff. The Burton's really make you feel at home. Thank you for a wonderful time. We look forward to our upcoming visit in 2018.

We have retired to Jamaica and live on this beautiful 1.5 acres property with fabulous landscape gardens and the beautiful private Mammee Bay Beach, which is a short stroll away.
