Papago Park Village is conveniently located close to Arizona State University, Mill Ave and Tempe Market Place Shopping, the Phoenix, Zoo, and many professional sports activities. Light rail is 1/2 mile away for transport to downtown Phoenix or the airport. The 202 freeway is very accessible. This beautiful condo complex is on a quiet cul de sac away from the hussle but very close to everything Tempe has to offer.
The unit contains Macys Hotel Collection linens and towels. The large living area has a nice leather couch but is NOT a sleeper sofa.

Complete kitchen with appliances and including a dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, pots and pans.

The unit also includes its own washer, dryer, ironing board and iron, HD television with NETFLIX , HULU movies, high speed wireless internet access, Clock Radio, dishes, hair dryer, and more.

Excellent MLB Spring Training Location !!

Wonderful location for MLB Spring Training. VRBO has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay. Near all the ballparks (longest drive was 40 minutes but most were 15-30). Tempe is also a great town for other activities. Will definitely reach out for my next visit.

Property was clean easy to access.

Good experience nice area lots of parks and a harbor close. Only thing I thought was some plane noise but that’s to be expected being close to airport.

Adequate for our needs.

The property was conveniently located and easy to get to from most attractions. There were 3 pools on site, but the furniture on the pool patios were not usable and needed replacement. The space was adequate, but was dated and needed some maintenance with a good overall cleaning to make this rental much better. The price was right for what you got.

Tempe Townhome

Location was terrific-close to airport & freeways. Low traffic neighborhood with a great park at the end of the block. Do not arrive after dark. Door key is kept in lockbox, under a tree in the front yard. In fact there are 2 lockboxes there. One has no visible numbers & the other numbers don’t work. Instructions should give thorough instructions on which box & how to use lockbox. House/unit number is difficult to find as tree hides it from the street and I was not aware “N227” was the unit & parking number-maybe the word “unit” could be included in the address. Front door sticks and can be tricky to open. Pool was closed,. Frequent low flying airplanes could be irritating to some folks. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Be sure to bring your own shampoo & bath soaps but there are plenty of towels and good hair dryer. Could not get bedroom TV to work but everything else we needed was working-Keurig, oven, fridge& freezer, microwave, dishes, etc. since we missed Spring Training Baseball we would stay again next year but if we make the trip.

Great place! I will definitely rent from Joseph again.

Great location! The pool was well maintained and relaxing. Great neighborhood and a dog park right across the street. Joseph made it super easy to check in and out! You should definitely considered staying at his condo.

TEMPE VRBO

Was clean on the inside but the windows were very dirty.. Also we had to repair the jammed (when we got there) garbage disposal and the lighting was not good. We did not recognize that it was on the second floor and that was a problem for a pair of 80 year olds. Also very hard to find with our GPS although a phone number was provided that we could have used instead of walking the property to finally locate it.

Enjoyed sunny AZ

We enjoyed our recent stay at this condo. Excellent location for access to Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa and Gilbert. Especially liked walking Papago Park. Area is quiet and safe. We would stay here again and have recommended it to several people. Condo has everything you need for a long-term stay. Thanks again!

Comfortable

We stayed 3weeks in March. Joe (owner) is a very nice gentlemen and attentive to your concerns. The condo fit our needs, washer and dryer great. You are in the path of Sky Harbour airport but the planes were not much of a bother. Close to everything, fabulous food: Los Sombereros excellent food not your typical Mexican place. House of Tricks, upscale place, beautiful gardens. Karsen KSU golf course is a lot of fun. Spring practice for the Giants, ten minutes away. Papago park, within walking distance, great dog park and family area and hiking. It was a good vacation and this makes our 5th year in AZ.

Nice, quiet complex equipped with all that we needed to enjoy our stay. Condo was clean and owner was very helpful and accommodating to us. Convenient location close to amenities. We would definitely go there again.

Great Winter at Tempe

We enjoyed our four month stay in Tempe AZ. The condo is close to Papago Park and The Tempe Town Lake. We walked and rode our bikes every day. We also walked to Mill Avenue restaurants and coffee shops. The condo is modern and nicely furnished. The landlord is very engaged and brought us additional furniture and kitchen items several times throughout our stay. It was a comfortable stay and we look forward to another great stay next year.

Stay During Ironman Arizona

My wife and I stayed 6 nights so I could do Ironman Arizona the weekend before Thanksgiving, but we also did a fair amount of touristing. Location is very convenient to Tempe, Scottsdale, and Phoenix, and is right on the Ironman run course. No problem to walk to the the start/finish across the lake if spectating, but better to drive and save your legs if competing. The accomodations were clean, well-maintained and as advertised. The extra space, washer/dryer, and kitchen made this much better than staying in a hotel and less costly. E-mail communications and arranging the contract with the owner were easy and fast. Only slight negatives were airport noise when planes were taking off to the east (I could barely hear them,but my wife's hearing is more acute), and it would have been nice to have a cable with ESPN (although there were a lot of digitally broadcast stations and WiFi was fast). We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for Week's Stay

This condo was exactly what we needed. I was teaching a week-long course at ASU. The bus runs right by the complex, if you are without a car. The location on Papago park provided hours of easy exploration. You can get anywhere in Scottsdale-Tempe-Phoenix easily from here. The condo itself was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The VRBO listing doesn't mention it, but there is an iron/ironing board setup and a hair dryer--all the comforts of home. While there were plenty of dishes and pots/pans, the kitchen utensil collection was a bit light, so I'm not sure you could do full-on cooking here. But we didn't want to anyway, there are so many awesome places to eat nearby. The only possible shortcoming was that, without a rug, the lovely stone floors made for an echo-y living space. The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful, even dropping by to check on a possible problem reported by the housekeepers. If we're ever in the area again, this is where I'm headed.

Great place for a visit.

The condo was centrally located, easy to get to other metro Phoenix areas. Close to Light rail line park and ride lot for easy access to downtown and ASU campus. Very clean with top of the line linens and kitchen equipment. Landlord was very helpful and accomodating.

Christmas trip

My son attends school in Phoenix and wasn't able to come home for the holiday so I wanted to be with him and have a place where we could hang out together and I could cook Christmas dinner. The condo was extremely clean and had everything I needed including the washer/dryer and wi-fi. It was only a couple of miles from Tempe Marketplace and had the weather been a little warmer we would have hung out by the pool. The owner was very helpful and gave me contact info so I could reach him if I needed anything.

Papago Park Village condos are conveniently located on the north shore of Tempe Town Lake, right where the annual Dragon Boat races take place. Campus of ASU is just on the other side of the lake. The Light Rail can take you downtown to all sporting events, and the Scottsdale spring baseball training camps are just a few minutes north of here.

Enjoy being near the campus for a visit with your student child, or hop on the freeway and drive out to the Superstition mountains for some hiking, then return home and have dinner at one of the many great restaurants in the area.
