We have a beautiful large Guest House . Very private, outdoors with a deck, firepit, gas bbq. Completely by it self with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, livingroom, full bath. Large sceen TV Wi-fi and stainless steel appliances. Hardwood floors, Vaulted knotty pine ceiling.
Kitchen glass top range, micro, Kreug coffee maker with a great variety of coffee all on the house. Dishwasher, refrig, toaster, full set up for all meals. All linens, towels and soaps included.

Lori and Terry are wonderful hosts. We have stayed with them twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed our time. This apartment was perfect for our needs and fully equipped including snacks and fresh baked muffins. Highly recommended

Wonderful experience!

We are already planning our return visit. The property and all accommodations were perfect! Very well maintained and equipped. Hosts were very welcoming and they even dropped off muffins for our last morning. Great communication made checking in and out very easy.

This accommodation is above the garage and the living quarters were absolutely perfect. Everything you could possibly need was there and the beds were fabulous and it was clean clean clean. Meticulously clean!!! 5star unit itself. Typically in Vermont, many properties are alongside roads. This one is the same and the traffic noise is there if you’re intending to sit outside.

Great stay

Great stay for our short snowboarding trip to Stratton. Very clean and quiet place. Terry was very responsive and accommodating for us. Would definitely consider staying here again if its available. Thanks!

Amazing Vermont stay

We stayed here during a very, very snowy Vermont weekend and had a wonderful time! The hosts were incredibly thoughtful - personal check in and welcome basket, helped us clear off our car, brought us lanterns in case we lost power, etc. The home has toys and games that our toddler loved and a place to play outside. Plenty of cookware and a nice kitchen. Would recommend to a couple, friends or family looking for a rural getaway!!!

Beautiful place to stay on the mountains! wonderful hosts! We had such an amazing weekend! Very clean and neat accommodations, the overall vibe was perfect! Close to Okemo, Bromsley and Stratton, and the Manchester town which is a must! Terry and Lori were so welcoming and warm with us, made us feel at home! we can't wait to come back! One of the best options on Vermont for sure! Thank you for everything!

Cozy & Comfy

This apartment is a great location for couples or small families. The hosts were so great, helped us through a couple of issues while we were there. And allowing us to bring our dog was a huge plus! He was so happy to be able to vacation with us. Only small drawback is the location is a little remote and you are very close the other cabin that they rent (share a yard). But we had a great week there and would highly recommend!

Went for a weekend with my son and nephew and had such a wonderful time hiking in the area. Terry and Lori and such gracious hosts... we had a wonderful time. Amazing summer vacation

My husband and I came with our 2 young children and we had a wonderful stay! The house and grounds were beautiful and well kept. The house was tastefully decorated with everything we needed! Terry and Lori were so welcoming and accommodating. They provided pack n plays for the kids which made it so much easier for us. They even had a swing set which the kids loved. They made us so comfortable and even helped us plan our day trips. Would love to return.

Nice VT VRBO

The place was as advertised & Terry did a great job explaining where to park & how to find the entrance in the dark. Lots of nice little touches. It was very clean & nicely decorated. We used it as a place to so we could catch up with friends in Manchester & attend a friend's party in Danby. So we didn't cook or get to enjoy the outdoor area. I would recommend.

Perfect Spot

I can’t say enough good things about this lovely home between Rutland and Manchester, VT! The location was ideal for our getaway, surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and the perfect balance of quiet and accessibility. The property itself was charming and cozy, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of – from the fire pit and grill outside to the comfortable indoor setup with board games and TV. The host went above and beyond to make our stay special, even checking in upon our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. She surprised us with delicious local, seasonal donuts on our last night, which was such a sweet touch. Snacks, coffee, fresh towels, small soaps – she left nothing overlooked, and the space was spotless. Being pet- and family-friendly, it was the perfect spot for us to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We’re incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Danby VT Carriage House Apartment

Thank you, Laurie, for the excellent accomodations. We four women traveled to the Manchester, VT area to celebrate a birthday. Our plans included the Vermont Summer Festival horse show, hiking, shopping, a trail ride, and time together. The apartment was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Full size kitchen and bath. Very much as described in the listing (tho lacking the microwave referenced.) The larger grounds were well tended and nicely landscaped. (Located on a busy road so definitely need to pay attention when walking on the road or exiting from the property.) Very convienently located for hiking, dining and shopping in Manchester,and to the showgrounds in Dorset. Laurie was very quick to respond to questions, to help us settle in and to navigate the area. A very thoughtful host. Overall this stay exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again.bercomfortable.

Wonderful cozy cabin with nice extras and great owners!

This is the second time I've stayed here, and it has become my go to place whenever I return to the Manchester area. Clean, nicely updated, with a big screen TV, wi-fi, Keurig, fire pit, vaulted ceiling and other nice extras. Love the hardwood, too. You can tell that the owners really take pride in the property. They are very friendly, helpful and easy-going. They told us about an awesome driving and hiking trail just around the corner that we never would have known about had they not mentioned it. Great foliage drive that leads to the quaint Vermont town of Weston with an amazing country store that people come from all over to visit (there was a bus from Tennessee there when we arrived). Well worth it. The cabin we rented is over the garage, but no one ever uses the garage, and once you are inside, you don't even realize it - it's that nice. The place easily sleeps four, and they also have a log cabin for rent on the property that also looks great and has a nice farmer's porch. You can't find a better place for the money. Highly recommended.

Very nice relaxing stay

Nice little cabin/guest house. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, extremely gracious and hospitable. They are just next door and I felt if we had any issues they would be there to help— but we had none! If you are looking for scenic drives and stunning views of the Green Mountains, this area of Vermont is right for you and not as far up as Stowe. If you are looking for absolute privacy and isolation I would caution that the cabin and guest house directly face each other, and you may see other guests. However this did not bother us and we knew beforehand. The guest house does have stairs leading up so I would be careful if you have small pets or kids, but there’s a convenient gate that keeps little dogs from going down the stairs! Nice walk around the property with a meadow and stream and flowers. I loved the yard & flowers planted, it is maintained with pristine care. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is on a main road but it is very convenient with a gas station/general shop within walking distance. You can walk right over and get a cheap bottle of wine or some ice/basic refreshments. Check out the swimming hole off Brooklyn road— get there early because people do start to crowd in especially on weekends. Just a few miles up the road from the swimming hole are some very good hiking trails ranging from easy to moderate/difficult. The proximity of the trails and swimming holes to this property was so convenient. Grocery store/town about a 20 min drive.

Perfect location, great property

The house was in a perfect location for us and was in great condition. The owners were always available and very friendly. The blueberry muffins were delicious. We will be back.
