Good little place to rest up for your next excursion

The resort and room was clean and the people were all nice love having valet parking because there is not any parking anywhere. The tiki bar was always hopping the food was always good. The beach was perfect.

Beautiful and everything we needed!

Had a great time staying here! The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The roomā€™s AC worked great and the room was always cool. The pool was wonderful and access to the beach was easy. The tiki bar also was great for a quick snack or drink! The owner was very responsive to my messages during the stay. Memorial Day Weekend With My Girlfriends!!

This place was perfect - price, location, everything. Chris was very attentive and his studio was clean, cool, and had all the conveniences you would need. The tiki bar was great, the pool was fun, and being right on the beach is worth it. Uber ride to downtown Las Olas was about $15-20 each way (for 3 girls). Walkable to Aruba Restaurant. Had a great time this weekend, would stay again!

The room had everything we needed

Chris provided everything a hotel provides us like towels, shampoo, soap, etc. the room is nice and fit perfectly the 5 of us. I donā€™t give 5 stars just because we all felt like the bed could feel more comfortable.

STAY AWAY!

I was charged for fees that I did not incur. The rules are beyond anything I have every seen before. The pillows are horrible. You get 2 towels from the 1970's per person for a two week stay.

Clean, nice and a great value!

We enjoyed our week long stay while visiting relatives who live in the area. The hotel was nice and above average overall. The pool was great, the beach was great and we enjoyed hanging at the Tiki bar here and there. There are lots of things well within a very short walking distance. We purchased groceries, went to dinner, snorkled and enjoyed a lot without having to use our rental car and could have probably done without it if we wanted to hang around the North Ft Lauderdale area throughout our stay. Just about an easy 10-15 minute walk north is Lauderdale By The Sea which has great little shops and restaurants to explore as well. The specific room we rented from Chris had been recently remodeled and included a coffee maker, toaster, skillet, dishes, glasses, etc. Everything was clean and new and overall a really great value!

Great, quiet location

Would definitely choose this place again. The pool was right next to the beach, as promised, so you could enjoy the ocean without having to get in the sand, but you'll want to save your seats early as they fill up quick. The private beach was great because it was relatively quiet and not crowded at all. You may have to go a mile or two away to get to the more "tourist" restaurants and shops, but we found a free shuttle that took us there, so it wasn't an issue at all. The room itself was good for 2 people. Plenty of space and everything looked like it did in the pictures. We were a little worried about the security deposit after reading some reviews, but we just kept the place relatively clean, like normal people, and got the whole deposit back with no issues. I really liked that the room was accessible with a door code, so we didn't have to worry about losing a room key. I would suggest bringing a beach towel of your own if you have room. The ones provided in the room were fine, but just really basic and a tad bit smaller than I'm used to. Overall great booking and glad I found it!

Good unit and location

Traveled with my wife and adult son. Good clean room. Passcode for room entry was very convenient. Tiki bar/restaurant staff are Awesome! The little coffee bar in the lobby had excellent lattes as well. McDonald's and a grocery store are just a block away to the south. Great place to stock up on water and snacks etc...Lauderdale by the Sea is just a short walk to the north. Nice town with many more dining and some shopping options. For even more shopping, restaurants and activities I recommend taking an uber to the las olas beach area approximately 5mi south. As an alternative There is also a bus that will take you to Las Olas for $2 pp. But it takes nearly an hour to get there, on the bus. I recommend just taking an uber/lyft to get there. Overall great experience. Nice property right on the beach and nice pool as well. Thank you!

It could have been much better!!

Upon me entering the resort and going to the desk the receptionist or whatever you call her had a stank attitude did inappropriately explain to me about my room because I guess it's owned by a private owner and she said she would get in trouble if she did so and I will figure everything out once I got to the room because I thought I was supposed to register at the front desk not realizing that it was through a private owner then upon reaching the 8th floor that whole hallway smells like wet dog it had a stink the whole stay while I was there when I finally got in my room it was extra cold I thought that I can turn the thermometer up a little bit but it doesn't give me the option because it's already set to the room temperature they want and then on top of that they give you two washcloths a beach towel which is not a beach towel into regular towels I guess to dry off when at any other Resort they will give you as many tiles as you need on a daily long as you return the used ones when I'm on the resort I would like to have more than just two face cloths and to blast cloth with a beach towel I like taking showers sometimes two to three times a day specially when it's hot and you're out there on the beach with all the sand but the overall hotel is self is beautiful I enjoyed my stay far as the Tiki Bar in sightseeing and jet-ski that's right outside of the resort in the back on the beach and another thing let me not forget the bed sheets that needs to be renewed upon me pulling the comforter back the bed sheets look worn out like it's been slept on the color of the black and white sheets was fading away they need more new sheets a more tiles and face cloth for visitor that is staying for 6 days but the housekeeping I must say was Immaculate shout out to the housekeeper whoever that might be but to the owner you need to upgrade again those old bed sheets and put more towels in there I wasn't there for three days I was there for 6 suburbian said step yo game up y'all get good money south of y'all to accommodate child customers the way a good business supposed to anything less would be absurd thank you and have a blessed day

Have stayed here before in a different unit. Small but ok for a single or couple. Great location in a resort hotel . Need to have more towels 1 bath and1 Beach towel in insufficent, especially if you here for several days. Thermostat set to keep place cool, which it did.

Fabulous!

My sisters and I used the condo for a quick weekend getaway and the four of us were perfectly comfortable. The unit is exactly as described. The resort itself is wonderful - great pool, great beach, great tiki bar. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Grocery (and liquor store) a short walk from the resort. Would definitely recommend.

Ideal Getaway From Busy Life!

Everything we hoped for from the positive reviews! I canā€™t imagine any of the negative to ever be true. Clean, well cared for place to relax! All that we needed was provided and despite what comments about the bed hardness, we found them very comfortable and slept well each night. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing atmosphere, just what we needed! The AC was keeping us plenty cool, the Tiki Bar was keeping us well fed and drinks there are awesome! So convenient! Always a good group of folks enjoying the evening. Everyone was very friendly! We were enjoying the beach & ocean everyday! (Yes, rent beach equip to use and yes valet charge ā€” but so worth it!) Weā€™d definitely come back here...the perfect getaway! Chris is an awesome communicator, prompt reply if you have any questions. Thank you Chris :)

Great Central Location!

The studio was very neat, clean and centrally located to everything ! Chris was also very responsive to a bathroom drain problem we experienced. We sent him a text message late evening and the problem was resolved the following afternoon, Thanks Chris! I will definitely visit again, as we have family members living next door.

OK property and location but unreasonable owner

Pros: close to beach and grocery store, clean room. Cons: Tiny "kitchen" corner, low quality mattresses. Hotel pool was heated only 3 out of 7 days. Beach spot rental required even without a chair. What shocked us, though, was the ownerā€™s unreasonableness. Despite leaving the room in excellent condition, she charged us $13 for a decorative plastic tray that we didnā€™t damage or lose. After telling her we left it in the kitchen cabinet she wrote, ā€œI donā€™t play hide and seek. This is no joke.ā€ A person with integrity would have returned our full deposit. We followed all of the rules that were taped on the walls. Beware of being scammed.
