A Country Getaway in the Heart of the City
This home is on 4 tranquil wooded acres set in the heart of everything.   There are numerous restaurants within walking distance from the property.

We are also only 4.5 miles away from the Historic Congaree Vista, and seven miles from the Williams Brice Football stadium. We can also arrange private transportation if needed.

For golfers, we are only one hour away from Augusta National, 1 mile away from a par 3 golf course and driving range. Other public courses within 10 miles.

Awesome Family Reunion Place

Super big and comfortable place for a three generation family Thanksgiving event.. my 80’s parents, my brothers and our adult kids had a great stay. Plenty of comfortable beds, lots of towels, kitchen has everything you might imagine in large quantities.. host easy to contact.. location convenient to everywhere in Columbia. Highly recommend.

Fun place to stay for a USC Game

The house is the perfect location to stay for any USC event. 10 minute Uber ride to USC campus and stadium. Walking distance to food, and Dunkin' Donuts. House was clean. Bedrooms are large and there are lots of places to hang out. Outside fireplace was so enjoyable with string lights and heat lamps too. Tons of kitchen dishes and glasses to accommodate any meal! It was the perfect house for a fun family weekend!

Spacious, clean, huge, convenient to all things Columbia! Owners/host were immediately accessible., txt, email and phone calls! Perfect place for large multiple family gathering. Bedrooms large and spacious. Well appointed kitchen. Would definitely book again!

Large Family Trip to University of South Carolina

We had an amazing weekend visiting our daughter at USC and attending the USC vs Alabama football game. Valerie and Charles were amazing to work with and their home is absolutely perfect for large family gatherings. Every detail was covered, plenty of space for everyone and simply a beautiful home. Charles spent a lot of time with us ensuring we were aware of everything the house had to offer, thank you!!! We will be back and very much look forward to working with Valerie and Charles again.

Graduation

What a wonderful location for my daughter's graduation party from the University of South Carolina! We hosted our family and relatives for the weekend and then 60 guests for a low country oyster roast, boil and BBQ on 5-7. Valerie and her staff were amazing as they showed us around, answered all our questions and did everything to make the entire weekend one to remember.

Outstanding Weekend with Friends & Family

Truly an outstanding location to house a large group where everyone can be together. Valerie and her crew were outstanding and made sure we were all set before taking off. Accommodates large crew for dining in and cooking or catering an event. Movie room on the top floor is a killer. Our group was there for the SC/FL football game. Made the most of spending the max amount of time with all the guests.

Mother of the bride

This is a wonderful place to stay. Valerie and all her family are the nicest you could possibly think of. They met all our needs and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I had my whole family staying at the house. We also had my daughter's wedding outside with the reception inside. It went perfectly. I highly recommend allowing Valerie and her crew to completely run your event. From decorating to catering, they can do it all and it will be perfect. My only complaint is that is was quite hot. Valerie continues to add more charm to the property so I'm sure she will be addressing this problem soon.

Masters and 60th birthday trip

We spent 4 nights while attending the 2013 Masters, the house is wonderful!! Charles and Val were a delight to do business with. The house has everything anyone would need while traveling. I would rate this house right up there with a Westin or Ritz. All the rooms are huge and the beds and linens are top shelf. This is a must stay location if within 100 miles of Columbia, SC. We plan to stay for the 2014 Masters. Thanks again, Val and Charles.

Great for Graduation Gathering

We were looking for a place for extended family to stay for my daughter's USC graduation and were fortunate to find this property. We had grandparents, parents, brother, nanny and daughter and aunt all staying at the house. The house was perfect for a large group with a large kitchen, and plenty of space to move around. Our favorite places were the very comfortable library for watching TV, or just sitting around talking, and the side porch, which was a great place to hang out any time of the day. hoped The house was everything we were very impressed with our host's efforts to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I have already recommended this to my daughter's roommate's father, who will be bringing a group together in December for their graduation celebration.

Masters Weekend 2013

Eight of us stayed here for the Masters golf tournament. Everyone was in awe of the mansion, its history and the hospitality of Valerie and Charles. Joe, their nephew, even provided us with the grand tour, history and all. Everone had their own spacious room with either their own bath or jack-and-jill style bath. The location provided for quick access to either I-20 or I-26 and 10 minute cab ride downtown and 1hr from Augusta. Watching the deer in the back yard in the early evening was just a bonus. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
