This was a fantastic VRBO! It was a peaceful, private setting...minutes from town, 30 minutes to the Bass Pro headquarters, minutes from the James River... The house was clean and exactly as described, the owner Jill did a great job decorating and thinking of everything for your convenience! She also communicated everything efficiently! 10/10 would stay again!!!

Wonderful Property!

Our family of seven loved this location. Great scenery, quiet, and the house was amazing. Felt like an upscale hotel with all the trims and touches. Every need was taken into account, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities were plentiful. Highly recommend if you are staying in the area and need a nice, quiet, peaceful retreat!

There was absolutely everything there for us! Extra toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, popcorn bags, etc. We came in with 2 other couples for a wedding and this VRBO was the perfect fit. We were 12 minutes away from the venue (green house 2 rivers). We would come back again with our daughter to visit!

This place was great! It felt like they really thought of everything. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need. The fire pit was fun for s’mores with the kids. The house was very comfortable (lots of extra throw blankets, pillows, comfy cough, board games, tvs in each room, video games for the kids, etc.) We have stayed at a lot of VRBO’s and this one felt more like a friend’s house. If we are in the area we will definitely book it again.

Peaceful and cozy place

We really enjoyed our stay in the WonderWoods. It was very clean and they had everything we needed. Very thought out rental. You can tell they take pride in their place. It was also a good location. Short drive into Springfield and about 30 minutes or less to Branson. Would definitely stay here again

As an individual who travels a lot and someone who manages/cleans multiple vacation rentals, I am pretty particular about where I stay and quite critical on the cleanliness. I was so impressed with this location and it was perfect for our group. It was impeccably clean, comfortable bedding and a nice getaway for our team after busy days. Stocked well and owners were very informative. We hope to make this a regular place for our corporate visits to Nixa. Beautiful property and a place we look forward to returning too.

The Most Amazing Stay!

Stayed here with my husband, parents, and sister. We were in the area for a wedding. This place was perfect and had the best personal touches. Viisting by the fire pit, cooking and cleaning together in the kitchen, sitting out front through out the day, and relaxing in the living room by the fireplace were my favorite things. I definitely recommend!

We rented this house as a landing pad while we prepped for our daughter's wedding at the Greenhouse Two Rivers, which is about 12 minutes away. The house is ADORABLE, and I wish we'd had time to actually enjoy it. One of our bridesmaids stayed there, but we just used the kitchen to prep appetizers for the event (and the kitchen is BEAUTIFUL). It's so peaceful there--would love to come back and just chill there for a couple of days!

Best place in Nixa

The property was exactly as listed! The hosts were prompt & pleasant with responses to our questions. Everything was as perfect as a VRBO could be! The property was perfectly situated between Springfield & Branson so we had no problem driving to the tourist destinations we had sought out. Loved the wildlife! We saw bucks, does & fawn along with LOTS of turkeys & even an armadillo! If this place is available - BOOK IT!

Very clean, private property. Came with family to stay for the weekend and work on getting a house painted for my sister. The home was well stocked with necessities. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Plenty of space for everyone! Lovely outdoor seating. Would love to return and just enjoy relaxing by the firepit! Jill was an awesome communicator. Very accommodating! Definitely would recommend staying here.

Pontos negativos: Limpeza
Check in was great there were bugs in the bathroom off the hall I contacted the owner they were quick to respond but the bug problem remained during our stay we were unable to use second bathroom due to the flying ants (I have photos) the water in the kitchen smelled terrible and there was no trash can for us to deposit our trash….we had to take trash with us….when I asked for credit Jill the owner got very hostile and angry. The house is beautiful but beware

I'm sorry that you felt it necessary to write a poor review for your stay. We did indeed take care of the issue with the ants immediately when notified and also checked in with your husband the following days. He assured us that the problem had been remedied. The trash dumpster was taken to the curb for pick up, and was one day later than normal (which is noted in the guest book) due to the Memorial Day holiday. Had you asked us, we could have let you know to leave your trash and we would take care of it, but you didn't ask. Since we are on well water (the property is on 5 acres outside of town), there could be a smell at first, however in 3 years, we've never had a guest complain about an odor (before or since your stay). When you emailed to ask for a refund/credit, I asked you what amount you felt would be fair as far as a credit (twice!), but you chose not to respond, and instead wrote a poor review. I was neither angry nor hostile and can paste our interaction from the website as proof, however, I will let our raving reviews from our guests on this platform as well as other platforms speak for themselves. We appreciate you sharing your opinion, however, it is not factual. So sorry your experience wasn't a 10.
