Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Warm Springs area, our newly constructed, luxury 1-bedroom/1 bath guest house is the perfect retreat for those seeking an unforgettable mountain escape. Located on our property, this exquisite detached chalet offers a cozy haven, amazing mountain views, modern conveniences and is a short stroll from the ski lifts at the renowned Warm Springs base area at the Sun Valley Resort, hiking & biking trails, bike path to Downtown and the scenic Warm Springs Creek for fly fishing.
The space:
The chalet is an architect designed, luxury, detached guest house blending old world charm with modern conveniences & styling. The furnishings are tasteful, modern French farmhouse with some vintage pieces to add warm and character. There is a cobble stone front porch with amazing ski slope views where skis, poles, snowboards and bikes can be stored. A cobble stone rear patio with Adirondack chairs provides a peaceful setting to take in the stunning mountain views and sunsets. All the spaces have been designed for comfort and enjoying the awesome setting. In summer time, enjoy the heated community pool and pickle ball/tennis court, 100 yards from the Chalet. In winter time the ski slopes of the world famous Sun Valley Resort are located 200 yards from the Chalet, providing convenient access. Guest access:
There is a private on site parking space located to the right of the 2 car garage. At the rear of the parking space is the walkway and steps to the front porch and entrance to the chalet. Please be careful when walking on the property as this is a mountain environment with snow, ice and surfaces that an be slippery.
Close by amenities:
In winter the Warm Springs base area of the Sun Valley Resort is located 200 yards directly down the street, which offers a cozy base lodge with numerous breakfast and lunch options, as well as the new Challenger and Flying Squirrel high speed quad chairlifts. A personal favorite is taking the Flying Squirrel chairlift to the top of Baldy and skiing to the historic Round House restaurant for an amazing lunch (make reservations or wait for room at the 2 bars). On your walk to the Warm Springs Lodge you will pass by Apples restaurant (locals favorite) and Sturdevants ski shop, which has a great selection of equipment, accessories, rentals, very experienced boot fitting and ski repair and tuning. In summer, there is a bike path 200 yards away that leads to Downtown Ketchum and beyond. In the opposite direction Warm Springs Road is a scenic gravel road past the Board Ranch Subdivision, is surrounded by National Forest Land and provides access to Frenchmens Natural Hot Springs and numerous fly fishing spots where Warm Springs Creek is close to the road. Numerous hiking trails are located nearby. Also in the summer enjoy the heated community pool with lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas, changing rooms, pickle ball court, and amazing mountain views are 100 yards from the Chalet. There is a summer symphony series on the lawn at the Sun Valley resort. Numerous shops and a wide range of great restaurants are located in Downtown Ketchum and at the Sun Valley Resort. There is a great free public bus system which has a stop in front of Warm Springs lodge and goes to Ketchum 2 times per hour (mountainrides.org), which makes your visit possible to be car less. If you feel energetic after your day on the slopes, nordic skiing, hiking or biking, there is an outdoor ice skating rink and bowling alleys at the Sun Valley lodge. The neighborhood surrounding the chalet is great for walking and checking out the Warm Springs Creek.
