12 year old stunning showcase Lake George Adirondack-styled waterfront home. Located in protected 'no wake' zone. (Note: we only rent for minimum stay of full week, no smoking, no pets, no parties, no visitors not on lease, no exceptions) Large gourmet kitchen with all amenities. Rustic oak floor throughout out entire home. Beautiful screen porch looks directly on the lake. Three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and plenty of room for your family. Classic mudroom with washer/dryer and clothes steamer. Fifty inch TV with stereo throughout main home. Wi-Fi and internet. Dock space for up to 25 foot boat. Canoe, kayak and 2 stand up paddle boards for your use. Jacuzzi overlooking the lake. Indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Blaze gas grill.
Central air and heat. Far from all the crowds yet a short car or boat ride to all that Lake George has to offer. We live in a quiet tranquil neighborhood and our surrounding neighbors are multi-generational owners who share our desire for peace and quiet.

The space is perfect for your extended family: Parents, a couple children and grandparents have loved our space for a weekly family vacation away from it all!

There is a carriage house apartment on the property that the we occupy when the main house is rented. During your stay with us you will see us on the grounds but we will do our best to be unobtrusive. Linda has a pottery studio attached to the garage where she spends many hours in the summer and I am frequently out on local golf courses or fishing.

Wonderful week and hosts!

We celebrated a wonderful Fourth of July week in this stunning home on Katskill Bay. The house and boathouse/lakefront deck are beautiful and everything is well appointed. Fred and Linda are also wonderful hosts. Fred even drove us across the lake in his own boat to pick up our rental boat at Yankee Boat, which saved us a long drive around the lake. We will be back!

Beautiful Home on Stunning Lake George

The house was fantastic and exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was outstanding and Fred & Linda have excellent taste in decor; it is perfect for the Adirondaks (or any other cabin/lakehouse). The owners were very helpful with recommendations on fun things to do, restaurants, and golf. Our 4-year-old son had a blast fishing off the deck and on the boat. We rented a 20' boat which was easy to dock off of the boathouse. The lake itself has excellent clarity and they have an excellent area to swim off the dock. Overall it was a great vacation, 5 stars!

Absolutely Wonderful

First things first--- the house is Lovely.... All you could ask for.... Kitchen was amazing. Well kept property. About 8 miles from town. Having coffee on top of the boat house in the morning was my favorite thing to do. The owners were very helpful with getting settled in and suggestions of where to go. We rented a boat for the week and is was truly an amazing vacation. We are looking forward to next year. Thank you L and F

Paradise at Pilot Knob

This beautiful lake front property is a wonderful location for a getaway. The home is beautiful! Lot's of unique details throughout. The kitchen is thoroughly equipped. We ate most breakfasts & dinner at home. Plenty of room. Amazing views! Lake access was perfect. We rented a boat and enjoyed the ease of access and no wake zone. Can swim right off the dock. This was our first time to Lake George and it definitely won't be our last! We will stay here again in a heart beat. Linda & Fred are wonderful hosts and readily available. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Top Notch

This house is is as Adirondack as it gets and done with class! The owners offer what is by far one of the nicest houses our family has ever rented for vacation. The house is virtually brand new.... The kitchen is well equipped and there is a gas grill outside to BBQ. Bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. The WiFi was a plus as cell service is spotty around the lake. The property also offers paddle boards, a canoe and a kayak for use. The dock along side the boathouse accommodated out rental boat very well. To top it off there is a hot tub and fire pit for use (owners supply the fire wood). The owners were very accommodating during our stay and at the ready to answer any questions. If you are considering this property, book it, you will not be disappointed!

Stunning home on beautiful Lake George

This is a truly one-of-a-kind home that is so beautiful and comfortable. The woodwork throughout the home and the attention to detail is perfect. It is far above your average rental. We had a wonderful time in the house and would love to stay again some time. The lake is very clean and refreshing and the views are wonderful. My kids enjoyed the paddleboards very much and we all enjoyed the swimming. The hot tub and fire pit were great and we even got some fresh produce from their garden. The owner and his wife were very responsive and helpful, even when my son left his phone in the house when we left. He called the cleaning lady who located the phone and mailed it to me the next week. Much appreciated that! Fabulous property! Don't hesitate to rent. :-)

Outstanding

This property is one of a kind available for rent on Lake George in our opinion. I can say that with confidence as our family has rented in various locations on the lake for well over 10 years. This year our family of 4 was lucky enough to come upon THIS PLACE! The “cabin” is new with architectural detailing of a classic Adirondack cabin with all the modern comforts (think AC, spacious rooms, beautiful bathrooms and gorgeous kitchen) that are simply amazing. There was clearly a great deal of thought on how this house should be laid out and furnished. Every room invites you into a special experience. The pictures attached, do not really do it justice. This might sound cliché, but true. The location is optimal, perfect for swimming and taking advantage of the many water toys available for use from the homeowners. There is even a hot tub! This home is nestled in a quiet bay overlooking Elizabeth Island in the southern basin on the east side of the lake. This location is convenient to restaurants and services you might need during your stay. You won’t be wasting a lot of time running out for last minute groceries or a drug store which means more time on the lake! If that’s not enough, there is a covered boat house with a deck that allows one to enjoy the vistas of the lake and Elizabeth Island from a bird’s eye view. The dock adjacent to the boat house was perfect for our 22 ft. vintage woody (Boat) which we moored here for the week. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. They made recommendations for restaurants and were very generous with sharing this beautiful home. Our family had a wonderful stay and we will surely be asking if we can stay again in the future. Perfect Home

This home has everything you need for a great vacation! Great views from the house and boat house deck; close proximity to hiking trails; and no-wake zone allows for swimming, canoeing, and paddle-boarding from the backyard. Brand new home with amazing kitchen, new appliances, nice decor, and super-clean. Ownership is very professional and offers a great house that exceeds your expectations.

We are active newlywed seniors who are enjoying life in the Adirondacks. Fred was a trial attorney in Sarasota Florida and Linda still works as a graphic designer. We run, bike, swim, golf almost every day during the summer. We are avid cooks and if you're interested I'll teach you how to make fantastic pizza on our gas grill. Many of our guest have become our friends who now rent from us annually. We look for guests who love peace and quiet and respect our beloved lake.

Having spent many summers in the Adirondacks it was inevitable that we would eventually retire here. We feel in love with the properties privacy and seclusion and decided to design and construct our dream home..

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Facing the east end of Elizabeth Island our home is uniquely suited for families with children. We are in a 'no wake' zone and Elizabeth Island blocks any large boat wakes or waves from the boat dock and waterfront. The result is a tranquil swimming area where children and adults can swim, canoe or paddle board without worrying about boat traffic. Our neighbors on both sides are wonderful.
