The size and layout of the house was great. We had 7 adults and never felt like we were on top of one another. We all did wish there were more cleaning supplies available so we could properly clean up after ourselves (like stove top cleaner, Windex, some sort of counter cleaner). But communication with host was great. Backyard was great!

We needed extra blankets since it was chilly but there were only extras in some of the bedrooms. The cover of the jacuzzi was split but servicable to keep in the heat in. Everything was very clean and everything we expected was available ( dishes, pans, sheets, towels). The firepit oddly had only 5 chairs but we used the big hunks of cut stumps to seat us all. The house was convenient to Littleton to the West and the Cog Railroad to the East. An added and unexpected bonus was access to snow mobile trails that were perfect for waking our dog. We would recommend this for families since there were lots of sleeping options.The apt will not allow me to correct waking to walking.

The house was very clean, accomodating and fit our needs perfectly. The area beautiful and the response from the Bretton Woods vacation rental teams were very friendly, always available to our questions. Would highly recommend.

The place was nice. It's hard to tell from the photos but it is right next to the highway, which at night can be a little loud for light sleepers. The space is nice, there is an automatic pellet stove, a wood burning stove, and a fire-pit. The hot tub is pleasant, although semi-private as you can see the hotels across the way and the highway. The game-room sunporch adds nice extra space to escape to. The upstairs cubbies are a lot of fun and there are 4 of them for groups with lots of kids. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are so-so. Overall, a nice stay for families and a close 20 minute drive to Santas village and lots of nearby hiking less than 30 minutes away (or skiing if you come up in the winter).

Perfect spot

This was the perfect spot for my team. I was traveling with a team to participate in the Reach the Beach race. The house was spacious and cozy and hosts were very responsive to questions. I only with we had more time to spend!!

Weekend trip

Was a great house for a late season golf trip. Fit the group we had perfectly. Table games were fun during down time and it was very quiet and relaxing at night. Would definitely stay again, was great help from the renters when we reached out.

Great house

Home was very clean and a great space to entertain with “Harry Potter” beds for the kids. Close to skiing and everything you would want to do however, you will have to drive. There is nothing in walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Came up for the ice castles and this was just what we needed. Not noisy but not far from all the fun things. Convenience stores close by were very reasonable! Very clean, nice host, and my kids didn’t wanna leave. We will be back! Thank you again.

Thank you for your feedback. We regret that the location by the main road and the backyard conditions affected your stay. Many guests love the convenience of being on our town's main street, and many of the local hotels and motels are right next door, but we understand that that's not for everyone. The A/C issue has been resolved - it was a bad controller on a brand new system, so hopefully it will not give any more trouble for years to come! We're glad to hear you found the rooms and bathrooms to your liking. We appreciate your comments as they help us improve.

Exceeded our expectations

The home was very clean, had ample space for the 9 of us who stayed and the air hockey and foosball table were a hit! The noise from traffic early in the morning wasn't great so I would bring a sound machine if you aren't used to traffic (which we aren't). Overall, it was a great stay and great house, we will definitely be back! I would recommend a curtain of sorts in the living room and on the back door near the air hockey table just for more privacy.

Snowmobiling Trip

Great house! Family room has a pellet stove and a comfy couch which was cozy in the mornings and evenings! The “porch” which is all enclosed and has the game tables is also really neat…it does require you buying wood and starting up the wood stove out there which was really easy but just something to be aware of! It’s really close to lots of great restaurants, we ate at Munroe’s for breakfast which was excellent and there are a bunch of places in Bethlehem which is less than 15 minutes away! Rosa Flamingos has really good Italian food! It was a snowmobiling trip for us and you do have to ride along route 3 for a VERY short distance to a side road and catch the trail that runs behind the house…but that turned out to be really easy too! It is on a busy road, but that didn’t bother our group!

My biggest complaint with the house was that the central air on the main level did not work. We were informed of this issue before our stay and we’re told that someone would be there to fix it during our stay. We were provided with a portable AC unit that was in the bedroom on the main level in order to have any cooling in the living room and game room areas. The thermostat on the unit had to be set very low. This caused the bedroom to be too cold to sleep in while it was running, and the unit was extremely noisy so had to be shut off to sleep. The temperature in the kitchen remained around 73 however there were no thermostats in the living room or game room to know an actual temperature, but it was uncomfortably warm when I contacted Mom go to that rest area 2 miles

Good afternoon Michelle, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We regret the inconvenience caused by the air conditioning issue, which was also mentioned in the review by the person who stayed before you. Unfortunately the control panel on the brand new central air unit failed while still under warranty and we had to wait for the part tor repair, and we provided a portable unit in the meantime. There may have been some miscommunication as there is no reason why the portable unit had to be set so low - it can be set at any temperature, and could be moved to the living area during the daytime when the bedroom was not in use to cool that spade. That said, the AC has been repaired, so there should be no issues in future stays! We hope to welcome you back and provide a better experience. Best wishes, Bretton Woods Vacations
