Perfect location, gorgeous view of the ocean

This unit is beautifully decorated and very comfortable..however, the tv in the bedroom worked off and on and was “fixed”twice but kept breaking down…very frustrating

Cockroaches and communication

We have stayed in this unit many times. Never before any issues. This time, the kitchen counter/sink area and the bathroom sink and toilet area had cockroaches the entire time. Roach bait cups were present on the kitchen sink and under the sink. Both appeared to be untouched by the roaches. We stayed in Kaanapali for our second week and when we opened our cosmetics, out popped a roach. As far as communications with the property manager/s: Too much communication and too much hassle to get in to the unit. People want confirmation of their reservation, and an easy way to get in to their unit without constantly being contacted by Alii for one reason or another. I am on vacation, not at the beck and call of your management team. Do not want my time wasted talking to management. Give your client the door code and leave them alone unless they call you. And by the way, your harassment regarding a credit card deposit was unusual and not warranted. You were paid in advance for our stay. We were long term renters at Elua. Never an issue when Destination Resorts managed.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your recent stay. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities at Ali'i Resorts. We place a high priority on pest control and conduct regular treatments to prevent issues. However, being in a tropical environment occasionally presents challenges such as roaches. Following your stay, we have completed a thorough roach clean-out to address this promptly. Since then, three subsequent reservations have stayed in the condo without any reported issues. Our communication efforts aim to ensure guests are informed of our on-island support and promptly address any concerns. Regarding check-in procedures, we strive to provide a seamless experience and equip guests with all necessary information for a comfortable stay. We regret any inconvenience caused in this regard. Similar to standard hotel policies, we require a valid credit card on file solely for verification purposes, without any holds or charges. This ensures compliance with industry regulations and an efficient process for all guests. Before arrival, we inform guests of this procedure to allow time for questions and ensure a smooth check-in.
