Paradise by the Beach

My wife and stayed here for 6 weeks and we couldn’t of asked for a better place to relax and get away from it all. The property manager was a ten out of ten. He was extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was kept spotless. It was quiet, the beach was amazing and private. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful Cabarete

The villa was very well kept. Kudos to Jeremy,Maria and Mercedes for keeping the villa maintained. The location was ideal for privacy and security. The beach was fantastic. One of the best things about the trip was listening to the ocean surf and feeling the warm breeze. Truly a paradise. Thanks Frank for your time answering our questions and concerns in a timely manner.

A Relaxing and Adventurous Visit to the Dominican

My family and I stayed at Villa Belvedere this January. The maids, security personnel and beach staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everything from the furniture to the appliances seemed like they were all brand new. The villa was kept very clean and anything that needed attention; which there were not many, were tended to immediately. We enjoyed having wifi to stay in touch and explore tours that were available in the area. The all day trip with Jose visiting 3 beaches, waterfall, Blue Lagoon, caves and plantation was the best day of our visit. If you tip the young guys at the waterfall they will give you a climbing and diving show that is amazing! The bonfire on the beach under the starlit sky was so relaxing. Jose was a great driver and showed us a few places to buy larimar and amber. We decided to use Jose as our tour guide rather than the pre packaged tours offered by the tour operators in town. It was less expensive and more personalized. The views of the beach and ocean from the 2nd floor sundeck with steps down to the pool were fantastic!. This sundeck is just off of the master bedroom through a sliding glass door. You can see the mountains meeting the ocean in the distance. If you want to splurge, hire Catalino; one of the chefs available, for the day. His cooking is out of this world! We all hope to return to Cabarete soon. Villa Belvedere is the best deal that we found for a well maintained 4 bedroom villa with a pool on the beach anywhere in Cabarete. It is one of a group of 4 privately owned million dollar villas located right on the beach. We all felt like we were staying at a secluded Malibu enclave. People walking down the beach would just stop and stare at the villas, get their pictures taken with the huge concrete lion sculptures on the beach or the 15’ tall Rocky statue and continue walking. We can’t wait to come back. Thinking of a family reunion next year with 2 or 3 villas together.

A hidden gem in Cabrera

The property is a little hidden. A sign out on route 5 would help a lot. Once you find it you will love it. Also Jeremi makes you feel at home right away

Villa Belvedere 1/2020

We were part of a party of 20 staying between three villas at Villas Paraiso, all managed by Frank. Just want to start by saying that the whole process was seamless, from initial booking to questions before arrival, transportation from airport and check in. Frank was very responsive for the almost ten months from time of booking to arrival. We were there to celebrate a friends 50th birthday and it all went off without a hitch. The staff that is on property was always helpful and friendly. We had two bonfires on the beach while we were there, all taken care of by the property maintenance and security staff. The cook Jenny was hired for one full day for all three villas for three meals. She was awesome to work with from planning to service. Eduardo was our go to for all of our transportation and excursion needs. He also was a wealth of knowledge for local restaurants and local vibe. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone that want to try local living away from the resorts. It was only a 20 minute ride from Puerto Plata airport and Eduardo even stopped at Janets market on way back from airport. Location was perfect for quiet time and being in our own little compound made it feel so safe, not that there was any issues. the local dogs help keep guard also, :) The three of them were so friendly and you knew right away if someone was walking the beach. Another great asset to make you feel at home!! The Villa Belvedere was perfect for the six of us. Three beds with their own baths was perfect. The decor was so cool, as well as the pool table which we used all the time. Kitchen area is right size for 6 people and the pool also. It was a little cold for us (being from Florida) but it was just the time of year we were there.(January 2020). There was nothing bad at all for our whole trip, would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking to check out Cabarete!! Cheers and thanks again to Frank and his Staff for making it a great vacation!!

Beautiful getaway, great staff

Great location on quiet (not for swimming) beach. 10 minute walk to excellent breakfast spot and another 10-15 minutes to swimming beach, water sports, and shops. Minor maintenance issues prevent 5 stars including (not limited to) A/C in one of bedrooms not working. Water was off when we arrived - groundskeeper connected cistern. Electricity went out one time that we noticed and generator immediately kicked on. Reliable high speed internet our entire stay was appreciated. Morning visit to see Laguna Dudú (Blue Lagoon) was a highlight, combined with beaches.

Terrific Beachfront escape

Loved the place, loved the staff, loved the beach, and really appreciated the great, careful communication of our host. We highly recommend the houses. It's like you've got your own private, quiet beach--a terrific escape. Our tip: DEFINITELY hire the chef. He's fantastic: food was great, and the pricing was very reasonable--especially since the restaurants in town aren't particularly cheap. We highly recommend Villa Belvedere.

Perfectly described, well kept, clean, friendly.

Frank has assembled a competent, friendly and efficient staff to go along with his well maintained and clean Villa Belvedere. Squeaky clean windows (try that on the ocean) and daily maid service were much appreciated. Also, I liked the first floor bedroom and pool table. Comfortable bedding, HDTV, 24/7 WIFI, extremely clean, private swimming pool, iPod tower dock and 24/7 electricity (don't laugh, many places don't have it) made for a very enjoyable vacation. Frank was there during my visit and I had to tell him to stop asking if I needed anything. He's the best! I 'm a many time visitor to Cabarete and first time stayer with Frank. I'll be back...

Villa Belvedere Is A Slice of Heaven

We loved every minute at Villa Belvedere. Everything from the staff, to the beach, villa and transportation left us feeling pampered, relaxed and safe. The staff made a huge beach bonfire for us on our last night. We had the chef for two days. He did all of the shopping, preparation, cooking, serving and clean up. He arrived the day before and asked us what we wanted for the next day. He also shopped for breakfast the next day and had all of the ingredients in the fridge the night before. There were small beach chairs at the villa that can be used on the pool deck or brought out to the beach for sunning. The pool was always kept clean, as well as the beach, grounds and villa. We got to meet the people staying in Villa Leone and Villa Flamingo as wells as a few people on the beach that were staying next door at the large condo complex Orilla del Mar. One day we did a spa day and had massages, manicures and pedicures around the pool all day; very relaxing! Thanks Frank for making sure that everything we wanted or needed was taken care of.

Wonderful host, location and staff

How do you rate the most professional host we have dealt with in visiting 36 countries. Frank's responses answered all our question and accurately described the property. You have 4 bedrooms ( 3 up and 1 double queen down) each with their own bath and a half bath off the foyer. Frank arranged for us to have a cook for ours tay. If you have 3 meals you will put on weight no matter how much you walk the beach. The beach is almost totally private, people do walk it at different times of the day. Beach is great for sunning, sand castles, boggie boarding or kite surfing. The house has a reasonable size pool, deep enough for adults and shallow enough for kids. We did mention to Frank that the dining room seats 6 and with 7 adults and 2 children we needed to bring outside chairs in. We would suggest more lounging chairs for the upper deck and available to take to the beach. We did not rent a car and had no problem getting a taxi as Frank has a phone available to you as long as you buy minutes at Janet's. We have already talked with Frank about returning. This is a beautiful property, with security 24/7 perfect for family birthday get away or a large family reunion as Frank owns 2 of the other three villas in this compound. Going to Cabarette you must check this property out.

Hello James, It was my pleasure to host you and your family for the Holidays and a significant birthday celebration at the newly renovated Villa Belvedere. Thank you for taking the time to give me your suggestions and thoughts. Since we just completed the extensive renovations at Villa Belvedere, we are still fine tuning the villa to make sure that it accommodates all size groups; small and large. I am looking for an appropriate small table for 4 to place in the entry hallway that can be moved over to the dining room to extend the table for 6 to accommodate 10. In the mean time, we have the pvc table for 4 next to the pool that can accommodate the extra 4. I know that this is not a proper formal dining arrangement but, in the Caribbean, as you know, the more casual is often the norm. I also remember back to when my mom ( Momma Leone) was still with us, she would always turn the normal family table for 6 into a table for 12 by bringing out the folding aluminum table and placing a fancy table cloth on it. Many Italian Christmas Eve dinners were enjoyed this way. I know that most families do like to all sit together at dinner; at least on vacation! We will make sure that we offer you better options for large family dining on your next visit. Just before your arrival, I purchased 2 new lounge chairs for the upper pool deck. I have since purchased 4 folding beach chairs and 2 pvc side tables. The folding chairs can serve as additional pool deck chairs or be easily carried to the beach. Remember, we do offer a 10% returning guest discount. It was a real pleasure talking with you and your wife in planning your stay. Have a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.
