Escape to this serene waterfront home on Woods Pond in Bridgton, located in the picturesque Sebago Lake Region of Maine. This cozy and contemporary lake house is wonderfully appointed and is situated in a quiet, peaceful area. The natural wooded lot is spacious and level around the cottage, gradually sloping towards the waterfront. The frontage is low banked, with a deck at the top of the bank that extends to the dock. Although the shoreline is rocky, the bottom is sandy and the water is approximately 1/2' deep at the entry point from the dock. Adventurers can explore the lake using the 2 kayaks and 1 canoe provided. Please note that the dock is strictly for the kayaks and canoe only. The property is located within a 15-minute walk to a large, sandy town beach and a short 10-minute drive to charming downtown Bridgton, where you can indulge in a shopping spree or some fun outdoor activities!

The property description is spot-on—it's a peaceful, well-kept home with a beautiful waterfront location, thoughtfully designed layout, and all the amenities we need for a relaxing stay.The house has always been clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. Everything from the kitchen to the outdoor spaces is in great shape, making it easy to settle in and enjoy right away. Krainin and the owner are friendly, responsive, and easy to work with—always making the booking process smooth and stress-free.We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to friends or family looking for a quiet retreat. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed kayaking on the pond, relaxing on the deck, and exploring nearby hiking trails. We’ve also found some great local spots to eat—especially in the Bridgton area, which has a nice mix of casual and sit-down options. Some of our local favorites are Beth’s Kitchen Café for breakfast and lunch, Black Horse Tavern for classic comfort food, and Elevation Sushi and Tacos for a fun mix of Japanese and Mexican flavors.Overall, it’s become a special place for us, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s stay!

Everything you needed!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at this wonderful Lakehouse. It had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed fishing, swimming, grilling etc. We enjoyed watching all the activities on the lake and even were graced by an Eagle on the Fourth of July. The fireworks were seen in four different areas of the lake, quite a spectacular event. At night we loved hearing the call of the loons echo over the lake, it was so calming and peaceful. The house is located 15 minutes from town, where there’s plenty of restaurants and grocery amenities.

In the evenings, we gathered around the fire pit, sharing stories and roasting marshmallows under the stars.One of the reasons we returned to this property is its convenient location. Despite its tranquil setting, it's only a short drive to local attractions, shops, and restaurants in Naples, Raymond, and Casco. We enjoyed exploring the nearby hiking trails and visiting charming local towns. The property’s proximity to these amenities made it easy to balance relaxation with exploration.The owners have put a lot of thought into making this rental a welcoming and enjoyable place to stay. Their attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the well-stocked kitchen to the array of water sports equipment. Communication with them was excellent, and they were always responsive and helpful,
