Kaanapali Whaler Rental

We rented a unit in the Whaler and very much enjoyed it. It was clean, well furnished and quite comfortable. We woke up each morning to a nice ocean view. We had a couple of problems and KBM took care of them as quickly as possible. We will book our holiday with them again.

Our stay at Whaler WHs-661

We had an excellent time during our recent stay. KMB Resorts and the KBM's staff made our stay easy and comfortable. They stayed in constant contact with us. The condo itself and the common areas/grounds were kept clean. The pool/spa were always clean. Nathan greeted us upon our arrival and was always present to offer his assistance any way possible. Don't miss his Saturday morning talks about Hawaii - you'll learn more about Hawaii than you thought you knew. Elise at the concierge desk was also very helpful in suggesting what activities we might want to do. The two we booked through her were great - evening sunset appetizer sail and and evening at the Old Lahina Luau. Both shouldn't be missed!

My Husband is disabled and all the chairs were to low and with no arms, thought we were gonna have a pool view, but we were on the wrong side, restaurants smoke stack, septic system cleaned out daily (Horrible smell)bed was great!

Great stay at the Whaler. Would recommend

First time in Hawaii and Maui. The Whaler was perfect. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We used and appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella which were included with the rental. We did rent gear from Snorkel Bobā€™s (who were fantastic). The snorkeling at the end of the beach was wonderful. Watching the whales from our balcony and the beach were a highlight.The kitchen was well equipped for meals but we also ate at a few of the restaurants at Whaler Village next door. The Aloha hours were fun! On the last night we discovered Pizza Paradiso which was in the same strip mall as snorkel bobā€™s. The pizza was very good.

The best stay!

So, a bit of history here- I am a vacation rental owner who has a hospitality background and have very high standards. We really researched where to stay in Maui, and after some time, we found this wonderful property. With our 6 nights, since we booked direct, they included a rental car which was one less thing for me to worry about coordinating. Amazing! Our unit was so clean, comfortable, had modern furnishings and had everything we needed including a wine key. Waking up to that view was amazing as well. This property is well maintained and the amenities are that of a five star resort. The cold water, coffee and afternoon pineapple iced tea was such a thoughtful touch! I actually broke my toe the first night we were in Maui, and the front desk staff and security was so attentive, giving me first aid amenities until I could get to the walk in clinic the next day. This is a reminder to always get trip insurance! I was so thankful that our unit had an ice pack, as well as coolers, beach gear and umbrellas for us to just take outside on the friendly beach outside of the building so we did not need to rent anything but snorkeling gear. You can walk to Black rock and see the turtles, and the beach is literally right there, So many restaurants and the ABC store to get essentials when you arrive. We did not want to leave, it was just such a memorable stay. We will be back for sure!

Amazing sunsets, amazing stay

The pics on the site may need some updating because the room was modern, thoughtful, and cozy. Loved the kitchen and all the available necessities for a small picnic or a big meal prep for an all day excursion. The bath/dressing room was awesome and (especially great for the ladies as) curling irons were available, lots of extra towels and cabinets (even a couple drawers on the bed frame). The king size bed was super firm and offered a good nightā€™s sleep after a long day of surfing and enjoying Mauiā€™s good eats. Thereā€™s a very ample dinette set which compliments the feel of the room and a small sitting corner if you just wanna recharge your cell and/or check emails, post pic on IG, etc. Enjoyed the breathtaking views from the balcony, from the west Maui mountains to the world renowned Kaanapali beaches. Slide open BOTH balcony doors to get the full glory of the waves and the essence of Plumerias. You can also appreciate the proximity of the Whalerā€™s Village which is just a dash away, great for those gelato cravings or Mai Tais at Monkey Pod. The location is also close to the Maui Butterfly Farm Tour and the Cacao Farm Tour and Tasting and the highly rated eateries!!!!! Kihei Cafe and Star Noodle are a must-go. Everyone was super friendly, hospitality overflowed the minute we arrived. Shout out to the front desk as they were kind enough to give us a ring when we underestimated our Haleakala sunrise tour pick up time. The resort had beach chairs available for guests but there are also beach accessories in the front closet to take along on far away beaches. Again, we cannot recommend this unit and the resort highly enough with the many special touches and thoughtfulness. They even had an easter egg hunt and the easter bunny during easter weekend. What a pleasant surprise. Love love love this place and will only book here on all future trips.
