Charming 2 bedroom home with study and garage parking. Situated on large lot surrounded by oak and pecan trees in a quiet, established neighborhood. This home offers a relaxing and comfortable setting for working remotely or enjoying recreational sports and attractions nearby.

About the home:
-Fully stocked kitchen with utensils, dishes, glasses, pots and pans, towels, cleaning supplies, spices, coffee, tea, oil, etc. New appliances include dishwasher, gas stove and oven, microwave and refrigerator/freezer.

-Living room furnished with comfortable loveseat recliner and 2 side chairs. HDTV, DVD player, and video library

-Bathroom with marble vanity and tiled tub/shower area. Plenty of cabinet storage for your personal items.

-All towels and linens provided as well as cleaning supplies. Ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner are available for your use.

-2 bedrooms; full size bed in one room, queen size bed in second room

-Study has a rolltop desk, basic office supplies and a printer for your use.

-Free WIFI and Cable TV

-Central air conditioning and heating

-Outdoor patio area with swing, dining table for 4, gas grill

-Garage parking as well as parking for boat or RV

-Washer/Dryer

-Texas City is 45 miles south of Houston and 16 miles north of Galveston. Easy access to I-45.

-Nearby attractions include Moody Gardens, Seawolf Park, Ashton Villa, 1877 Tall Ship Elissa, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, The Strand District, Galveston's Historic Pleasure Pier, Galveston-Port Bolivar Ferry, Kemah Boardwalk, Space Center Houston, Bayou Golf Course, and Texas City Dike.

Clean & Comfortable Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay at Robbynn's home. We did not meet her but she emailed all of the needed info and our late night arrival went without any problems. The codes worked the first time and no problems with the keys and there was plenty of lights to lead the way. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. All needed info was in an organized book on the kitchen table. The wooden floors are lovely, although they do creak when you walk as does one of the wooden bed frames. I liked the shutters, windows and the bamboo blinds- everything worked properly. Also liked the plush bath-rug and the small rocking chair in the bedroom. Lots of little touches made this a very enjoyable stay for 4 people. We didn't have time to visit Galveston but did visit the Kemah Boardwalk and Johnson Space Center. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in nearby Webster. Very convenient location in a nice neighborhood for a family vacation.

Awesome place to stay. Will definitely be back again.

This is an excellent place to stay. Very comfortable and the owners provide everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

Great place!

We stayed at this property during February 2016 and couldn't have been happier with it. The house was spotless and very cute. Three bedrooms with one set up as an office were plenty for the two of us. The kitchen was equipped with everything anyone could need or want and the bathroom was very bright and spotless. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and it seemed like everyone kept their homes nice. I walked often around the block and while there was no sidewalk, the road was wide enough so that I didn't feel unsafe. We were close to Galveston and Houston with easy access to Hwy 45. All in all I would recommend this house to anyone. We hope to return next year if we decide to come back to Texas from cold Illinois.

Wonderful house!

This is a great vacation rental central to many cities near Galveston. We enjoyed the spacious garage and the children loved to run in the large backyard and swinging on the porch swing. My daughter said it best, " Wow, this is better than three hotels!"

Family Vacation Spot

Excellent, Awesome, Beautiful, Comfortable, Centrally Located, Wonderful This was a great rental spot for our family vacation. Owners were the best and communication with them was easy. We were 15 minutes from Galveston and Kemah. The house had EVERYTHING we needed!

'Sweet' home

We stayed in this "sweet' home for almost 2 months, and it is spotless, has a well equipped kitchen, house decorated with taste, so comfortable and homey, and had everything we needed. Plus a neat little patio area with table/chairs, swing, and lovely flowers to admire. Robbynn & Steve are responsive to all your needs. You'll love it!

Working in Galveston

Robyn and Steve provided a very clean and comfortable stay while I was in Texas city. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and I would highly recommend staying there if you plan to vacation in Galveston.

Texas City Rental

The property was exactly as advertised. The location is great and in close proximity to where we needed to go Everything we needed to be comfortable is provided I couldn't ask for a better place to stay for our needs I would recommend to anyone that needs a vacation rental

3 guys fishing

I don't know how the pictures could do the actual house true justice. The house was perfect, and the outside sitting area was very comfortable. Our fishing trip was very successful and it was a pleasure to come back each evening to the comfort and convenience of a home. If you are looking for a house that is central to everything, just between the 45 / 146, with a very helpful owner ... this is the place. Steve and Robbynn are a true pleasure to talk with and answer any questions you may have. They are long time residence of the area and have so much to share. Steve and Robbynn thank you and we will be back.

Home Away From Home

This home provided everything we needed. We were working in the area and found this marvelous place to call home for six weeks. This property is a great location in a nice residential area with a well-kept pretty yard. The house had everything we needed to work comfortably. The well-stocked kitchen affords easy preparation of complete meals. The owners have extensive knowledge of the area and were eager to give advice or help in any way possible.

Hidden Gem

This property is very well maintained. We arrived to a very very clean, comfortable house. Pictures are accurate but place is nicer than pictured. Great location, only 16 miles from Galveston, 35 miles from Houston and near the highway. Quiet, safe residential area, and a bonus a garage with washer and dryer access. Would highly recommend to anyone single or families will meet your needs! Robbyn even gave us Blue Bell ice cream and water in the fridge as a welcome gift.

A great place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely home! The house was easy to find and in a good central location. We arrived to a very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated home. It was well equipped with everything that we needed. Steve and Robbynn were so helpful with any questions we had. This home has been in my family over 30 years. My husband and I remodeled the home for our enjoyment as well as guests coming to the Texas Gulf Coast. We live north of Houston and travel to Texas City to fish in Galveston Bay, visit friends and family or dine at some really great local restaurants.

The house is located in a convenient area, close to Texas City, Kemah, Galveston, and Houston. With the freeway a mile away, you have easy access to Galveston for a day at the beach and sightseeing or head north to Houston spending the day at Space Center Houston. Fishing in Galveston Bay is only 8 miles away.
