Very cool property with the opportunity to ride horses. The hosts were personable. The property was newer with plenty of space and gorgeous views of the ranch.

Beautiful property and the hosts were terrific. Jeff and Sheryl were wonderful hosts. They happily fulfilled all of our requests and were so friendly and accommodating. Could not have asked for more.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were awesome very, very friendly. Our grandkids went on a trail ride they loved it. They even got rained on, they talked about it and are still laughing about it.We got to see turkeys and lots of deer. Recommend it to any body that wants to get away.

The ranch was a lovely, quiet place to stay with plenty of room not only inside, but also a large property to hike around. The horses were extra special and really enhanced our stay- you can tell how well loved they are.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful ranch! Sheryl and Jeff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One evening, they put together a fire for us, and we spent time chatting and enjoying the gorgeous weather. A highlight of the trip was watching Jeff play catch with my son while we relaxed by the fire.The views were absolutely stunning and made the experience even more special. We loved being able to pet some of the horses, and seeing a baby foal that was only a week old was such a unique and memorable experience. My son especially thought that was pretty amazing!The space itself is newer, spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. It had everything we needed and felt both cozy and inviting. The peaceful setting, beautiful scenery, wonderful animals, and genuine hospitality made for a truly unforgettable stay.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with exceptional hosts.

These folks understand the meaning of hospitality!We had an excellent experience with the bonus of an incredible view of their horses feeding while the sun came up every morning as we enjoyed our coffee. We will definitely be back. Thank you Sheryl and Jeff.

Great Getaway

Would definitely recommend! The accommodations were very comfortable, and our group had a lot of fun taking a trail ride through the beautiful property.

Mini Yellowstone Getsway

Super cool property with horses onsite. Great getaway for any family. Wish there was a oven but really not that big of a deal. Would come back in a heartbeat. Hosts were always available and very friendly.

We had an absolutely amazing time, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly, enjoyed chatting with them! The accommodations were spectacular!! The only downside was in the description there was not any mention of them being up a flight of steep stairs. Going through the arena places was very tolerable - the stairs were horrible, having to carry everything up upstairs and make sure that the kids safely navigated them. Perhaps as a compensation the price of the horse-back riding could be lessened for guests. Overall we had a AMAZING time! While there was not a stove in the kitchen- we managed by bringing electric appliances but we neglected to bring cooking utensils, measuring cups or spoons - adding these items to the kitchen cache would be wonderful. We did leave a couple utensils. The firepit area was fabulous - we did one whole meal with pudgy pie tools!! The kids loved it!! Very relaxing to sit on the swing or chairs and enjoy the landscape!!On a separate note: my daughter in laws took a hike on the trails and got lost! The hostess was very wonderful and knew exactly where the girls were and quickly located them and then took them to the sites they were looking for. What a great experience for them and an even better memory for them!! The girls came back laughing so hard they almost wet themselves!!! Thank you for an incredible time!

Wonderful stay at the Horse Ranch!

When we were in Merrill to visit family and attend my dad's memorial, we stayed at this rental. My husband and I, our two adult children and our daughter-in-law all stayed at the Chism Horse Ranch. The setting is beautiful! Having grown up in Merrill, I appreciated the green fields, woods, and horse pastures. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the horses (there was a very cute colt in the mix), and even got to take in a "rodeo" type event in their indoor arena. We didn't have time to spend riding or exploring the trails, but really appreciated the beautiful surroundings and tranquility of the ranch. Even though it was quite busy the night of the arena event, we still felt like we had our privacy and quiet when we needed it. Sheryl and her family were very welcoming and helpful at all times. The rental space was lovely and very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Though there isn't a stove/oven at the property, we were able to make some meals using the microwave. There is not a washer/dryer in the rental space; that would have been nice--but it wasn't absolutely necessary for us. The views from the large windows were just beautiful. We would recommend this rental and will definitely consider it again if we need a place to stay while visiting family in the Merrill area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Sheryl and family!
