I'm hesitant to write this because I don't like speaking negatively about anyone. However, I don't want anyone else to be put in the same position. The property is not as described on the listing. This is not the entire house (as it says at least 3 times!!), but rather a 2nd story apartment. In order to get into the apartment, you have to climb VERY steep stairs. If you have small children or any physical disability, you will find this very challenging, if not impossible. Upon entering, the temperature was 91 degrees. Now, yes, there are a/c window units, but the host could have turned them on prior to our arrival. After staying for about 10 minutes, my family left the property to find other accommodations. Two weeks later, we are still waiting for the host to give us a full refund due to her deceptive listing and lack of concern for comfort. If I had known this was an apartment, I would not have booked it in the first place. It was literally the day before our arrival that this information was given. Conveniently before I could cancel, I might add. I'm not being hateful or mean in any way, but I'm frustrated that my legitimate claim is being ignored and refund withheld. This situation could have been prevented if the listing was accurate! Maybe if the listing had been correct, this would be a good place to stay. It was nice and clean. It just didn't work for our family. I genuinely wish her the best. All I'm asking is for my money back.
