Beautifully remodeled beach home just steps from Silver Sands Beach. Main level boasts a granite kitchen with newer appliances and cabinets, a cheerful great-room and 1/2 bath. Upstairs has three bedrooms and 1 full bath. All newly painted with newer hardwood floors. Enjoy cookouts on the lower level patio and the views of the Marsh from the upper level deck. Nature is all around when you take the pleasant stroll to Silver Sands State Park and the boardwalk. Just a 5 min. drive or short bike ride to Milford Center, which offers many restaurants and plenty of night life. Metro-North train station is just 5 min. drive. Please Note: the house has been lifted and there are 22 steps to enter the main level of the home. The bedding is 1 queen in master bedroom, 1 queen in each of the two other bedrooms.
Sleeps 6 with shared bedding.

Great little house next to the beach

House was close to the beach. Laid out well for a family to stay. Lots of nice walking spots nearby.

Beautiful place and experience

Easy and accurate communication with the host. The place was very clean , nothing to complain at all. Easy to access, as described, I highly recommend for the future

Perfect for us

The house is exactly as advertised. The inside is pleasant and is a wonderful combination of new and old, just as a classic New England house should be. We enjoyed the beach area closest to the house, but I would recommend going on down a few blocks to the state park area for the beach. It was so peaceful, and the boardwalk is great.

Great place across from the ocean

The house on Tremont Street was great. It was very clean. Laura was very responsive. My family and I walked across the street to the beach the first night and then we went to silver sands State Park the other days. The house is conveniently located close to beach and close to town. The house was stocked with everything that you can need. We had a great vacation.

Everything you needed

House was very clean and kitchen was well supplied with gadgets, dishes, coffee maker, soap, etc. There are two outside staircases, both are sturdy and safely maintained. Roof deck was a plus. Capacity of window air conditioners is questionable. Beach chairs, towels, boards and toys were all available and included.

Lovely beach stay

We had never traveled to this part of Connecticut before but were itching for a trip to the beach. This was the closest place to us within a 2 1/2 hr drive. My husband, myself and 3 grandchildren had the best time. The house was exactly like we expected. It was very comfortable and had everything we could need for our stay. The beach access was directly across the road . However we found for us it was better to walk a bit further down to silver sands beach to set up an umbrella and chairs for the day, as the beach closest to the house had so many private homes, that took up quite a bit of space. Whereas down the beach further my kids had the freedom to go wherever they wanted to explore, and not worry about them trespassing on private property. There are so many things the house offers for the beach. And games at the house for rainy day or evening fun! The few times I had to get ahold of Laura she responded so quickly and was able to figure things out in a hurry. We highly recommend the house and the area for a great beach vacation!

Wonderful week at a wonderful beach house! We spent tranquil mornings and evenings on the high upper deck, and enjoyed the shaded lower deck during the day. We loved that we could walk to nearby beaches, including Silver Sands State Park with its famous boardwalk and kayak rentals right there.Host Laura was very friendly, helpful and accessible. Highly recommended!

It was a roomy, comfortable place to stay for our family of 4. All adults. The laundry room was a bonus. The upstairs does get quite hot in the afternoon even with the fans - mid May.We did walk to the beach and had a nice walk along it. Beautiful homes to view. The photos on the website were a little misleading though. It looked like the house was located right on the beach. It is actually behind a row of houses. There’s a partial view from the roof top patio though. It was still nice, but a little pricey for mid May!

Great Beach getaway

The only issue we had is that the property said it had air conditioning and the units were not installed. There were two hotter days and we couldn't cool down even with the fans. The house was great and comfortable otherwise. House had everything we needed and was across street from Beach. We walked down the boardwalk and it was great. Close to grocery and restaurants. Great communication with the owner was well. Highly recommend.

Charming home in a great location! Steps from the beach and close to the Milford green!

The home is immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. Beach is fabulous! Recommend taking in a sunrise. Beautiful! Lots of good restaurants in town to choose from. Nearby grocery to stock up once you’re there. Would most definitely return!

Great location and well-stocked house!

My family enjoyed our week here - the location to the beach was the highlight. The beach was never crowded, which was a plus. The house was great - it had many "extras" included that you don't always find in a rental, such as beach umbrellas, beach chairs, a kayak, and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved being within walking distance to Silver Sands State Park. The owners met us upon our arrival and gave us a tour of the house and area.

To start the owners are a dream, so we were very happy from the moment we met them at the house. We loved our stay on Silver Sand Beach and we were just across the street from the beach, and in one house from the corner. I didn't want to leave. The beach is a real dream and hardly any people, it's not crowded at all. We loved sitting up on the deck at night and watch the stars. The house is fully equipped with beach paraphernalia. The kitchen is great if you like cooking and we did, plus a great outdoor grill, nice patio too. I highly recommend staying at this fun summer house. I want to go back right now and you will too.
