Christian was so friendly and accommodating. Our family felt safe here, the place was clean and as described, with lots of necessities and personal care items!! Plenty of parking and things to do around the area. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here !!

Yes Unfortunately Houston is a city full of trees and humidity. Also this property is located directly in front of a big lawn and Big Trees. We Look forward to your next visit.

Nice little gem

This property was just what we needed for our trip to Houston. Conviently located,with all the conviences of home. Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Would stay again if ever in Houston

Place was clean, and close to amenitites. Felt safe but wouldnt recomend wondering around at night. Neighbors had a big party saturday night, didnt bother us much but if you have young children i wouldnt recommend as the walls were vibrating. Perfect place for us who were there to explore the city and rest our heads. Would come back again.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes this place Is excellent for well traveled Adults. It's a predominantly hispanic neighborhood. Spanish speaking guests often Stay with their kids. We also get quite a few Asian families. The loud music is not allowed after 9pm. We have had 0 issues with neighborhood so far.

Clean Space, Courteous Host

I stayed with my wife and our children and it was a fantastic experience. The unit is only a short drive from downtown and there are several places to eat nearby. The unit was extremely well furnished and clean. The host was more than gracious when we left our laptop and tablet offering to overnight it to us. We hope this unit will be available when we return to Houston in the future.

Modern cozy stay

Great location to explore Houston. My 6 year old son and I wanted to visit the Houston Interactive Aquarium and Animal preserve. It’s only 3-5miles away. This place is so unique with the staircase and the overall layout. We loved the friendly cats around the complex. It’s very close to downtown Houston. We went to many eateries in the Heights and liked the Onion Creek restaurant best. Every is super clean and Christian the host is very responsive. We’ll definitely book again.

Room is nice, lock got cut.

The property itself was very nice and so was our hoet! However, we had a box truck for work. The lock on the back of our truck was cut almost in half when we got up in the morning. Just make sure to keep your things inside!!

Nice fixer upper

You can tell that they are really trying to put work into this property. They have brand new appliances, brand new TVs, and it was fairly clean. It is not in the best neighborhood, however, it is really close and convenient to the highway, shopping, and fast food. Give it was a hotel rating, it would probably be a 3 star hotel. Communication = SUPERB. instructions for check and checkout were also great.

Nasty place

This place is so nasty bugs everywhere dead and alive and it stinks inside horrible experience for my family the neighborhood is also bad feel unsafe it’s just a bad place won’t recommend it to anyone I talked to the person in charge of it who totally understood but they still changed me for the whole week I was going to stay even though I didn’t stay and let them know right away

Sorry this has been your experience. We cannot alter your truth. There is a huge lawn area and many shrubs in front of the unit. Houston is bug city compare to Austin, Dallas and San Antonio we get a lot more rain, trees, bugs and humidity. The unit was cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. This has not been the experience for our other guests. Our guests love the value they get for the rates. We never claimed it’s Trump Towers…. We are striving for it though. Thank you for the star!!!

Houston stay

We were unable to stay at this property due to cleanliness issues and also the neighborhood felt unsafe. My kids were concerned about the bugs they saw and were worried about possible bed bugs. We vacated the first night itself and stayed at a nearby hotel. The owner initially suggested a refund in return for a good review but later backtracked. We were left with double expenses including for a vrbo which we stayed in for 2hours out of our 5 day stay and also hotel expenses. Will not recommend this property.

Awesome host

Overall communication with Christian was awesome. Host is super flexible, and instructions provided were very clear. Answers were also prompt! Water bottles were left available for us at the fridge. The property has very good appliances, you can tell all TVs, fridge, stove, microwave, washer/dryer, router are brand new. Pillows and bed sheets seemed almost new too. Decorations of the house are of good taste as well. Living room is comfortable, and kitchen offers everything you need to prepare your meal. AC works fine, it is just a little noisy. There is a small heater on the first floor, so if it gets colder, it will not be able to keep all the house warm. 1st floor was ready to receive us when we got there, as well as the first room. The bunk beds were without the sheets installed, though. Regarding the overall cleanliness, bathrooms were not very clean (toilet was dirty in both bathrooms and there was hair on the floor). Another downside of cleanliness is the frequent presence of roaches in all rooms, as there are several non-sealed spots (HVAC internal installation, baseboards, electrical/cable outlets) insects can come from. With an improvement on this aspect, I would definitely give it 5 stars. Overall, it is a good pick for the price.

It’s always a great compliment to be called an awesome host!! Thank you. Note: The central heater works. I always recommend the tower heater as it’s quieter and faster in my opinion. We are puzzled you witnessed roaches. It’s bug season right now in Houston. There are tons of flying insect mating and dying in all our yards from late Feb to August…. Presented your review to the cleaning team. They have not witness roaches. Bugs here and there yes, but not roaches. Our team is diligent about cleanliness: our previous guests provided us 5 star rating and outlined cleanliness? We are really confused about hair presence and unclean toilets? Keeping in mind our cleaning team takes pride in its work. It’s my responsibility to respond to reviews that are an outlier. Glad you called it a good pick. We’ll continue to improve it. The house did not match the pictures posted . It’s very old and ran down . There was bug traps . Plumbing was backed up, the house smelled like mildew & there was 100 fans running upon entering to keep circulation . Reached out to the owner to see if i can get a partial refund as i booked the day before my trip . Owner was not willing to work with me , actually accused me of stealing from his property . I didn’t stay in the house more then 3 hours as i came from out of town for a birthday trip and had to find another open place for me to stay. Save your money.
