Lakefront Silver Lake Vacation House Rental

Silver lake is 460 acres of some of the best fishing waters in Kenosha County. The lake is centrally located between Chicago and Milwaukee near the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Lake species include musky, northern pike, walleye, largemouth bass, and pan fish.
Available all year round...

During the spring, summer and fall seasons you can indulge in the clean waters of Silver Lake. Fisherman and kayakers can enjoy the wake restrictions before 10 am and after 7 pm. Water sports right out the back door (tubing, boating, wake boarding, water skiing, and swimming). Canoe or kayak Silver Lake or nearby Fox River. Silver Lake County park has one of the best sandy beaches in Southeastern Wisconsin, staffed with lifeguards; snack bar, and shelter. Multiple guide services are available for fisherman. Boat launches include a DNR (free), village (fee), and marina (fee). Bait shops and vending in Silver Lake and nearby Paddock Lake. Gasoline is available on the water at a marina.


In the winter, bring the ice auger out to catch lunkers through the ice. Snowmobilers have an extensive trail system that is easy to find. Cross country ski the trails at Silver Lake Park. Downhill ski or snowboard at Wilmot Ski Area, a five minute drive.

A Silver Lake Four Seasons Cottage is a newly renovated 4 bedroom (1 bedroom with a king bed, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and a large bedroom with a queen bed & double bed & queen sleeper sofa with ample room for inflatable additional bedding) lake front year round home located on 75 feet of lake frontage on the west side of Silver lake. 3 full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, and high speed internet. The ez dock pier layout allows ample space to moor multiple boats and jet skis along with great off the pier fishing opportunities. 2 tandem kayaks and a 14 foot aluminum rowboat are available for use by our guests.

Our stay in Silver Lake was exactly what we had hoped it to be. My siblings and our families rented this house together, and the space was perfect for us. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. It was snowing right before we arrived, and he was at the house laying salt down on the stairways up to the door. The house was very clean and while the 3rd bathroom is in the unfinished basement, we had no issue with that at all. That bathroom was still clean and served its purpose well. I would definitely stay here again.

Our visit was fine. Some things that one might need to be aware of...Fireplace does not work and has a sign on it stating Do Not Use. The owner stated it was an Insurance Issue which prevented the use of it.The home is located on a VERY BUSY street which you hear all day and night.There was quite a bit of hair and dirt on the floors in the kitchen, dining area, and living room that I choose to Swiffer and vacuum.The lake is BEAUTIFUL! The host was gracious to us and permitted us to use his row boat with our motor.The beds were extremely comfortable and this home is excellent for multiple people to stay at.

The location was great! We were attending a wedding in Twin lakes. Sitting on the deck the lake view was awesome! The beds were comfortable. The house was a cozy cottage! We would love to come stay there again!

Great Family Getaway

The home was perfect for my familyā€™s stay during my sonā€™s wedding weekend. We had 8 adults, an 8 year old & a 1 year old. I loved having 4 bedrooms (1 extremely large) & 3 bathrooms. The roomy back deck overlooked the water & we spent our early mornings watching spectacular sunrises & having our coffee & breakfasts together. There was plenty of off-street parking. I can only speak for my bed but it was extremely comfortable.

Sleeps 10 comfortably

Over all we enjoyed our time on Silver Lake. A few things to note, swimming off the pier was not possible because of weeds, however the park 5 houses down was a nice substitute. The third bathroom in the basement was a bit of an inconvenience for the those sleeping upstairs because the upstairs bathroom is not shared with the two upstairs bedrooms. The fire pit by the lake was nice and there was enough seatting for all 10 of us outside.

We had everything we needed for an enjoyable week on the lake. I liked that there was a childproof gate on the deck. There were plenty of seating options for eating. And a great dock that we had success fishing off of.

Great location for Wilmot

Perfect location for those visiting Wilmot as it's only a few miles away. The house was great with a view of the lake. The only weird thing is the bathroom upstairs is in one bedroom so it's a bit inconvenient to access from the 2nd bedroom.

Beautiful View & Relaxing Comfort

A few fiends and I were attending a conference in the Lake Geneva area. Rather than being crammed in a hotel room, we opted for a larger space where we could relax and commune together. The price was reasonable, and the commute simple, quick and easy. It was a straight shot down highway 50. Looking at the beautiful lake and the many kayaks, paddle boards and row boat make me eager to visit again in the warmer months. We appreciated the many beds and 3 full baths! The mattresses were very comfortable too.

Mother/grandmotherā€™s 80th birthday

We had people from all over the three state area, and enjoy your wonderful property. For being in Wisconsin, and 45 to 50Ā° out with son we even enjoy the fire pit. But it was the spacious home that was wonderful. From the two sitting areas for dinner. To the wonderful spacious bedrooms on the first floor, the master bedroom on the second, as well as the huge great bedroom on the second floor. My mom was pleasantly surprised my sons grandmother was pleasantly surprised. Everything was wonderful I would highly recommend.

Wedding

We were in town for a wedding, and this house was perfect for our needs. Cozy and comfy. The town has a train that rolls through pretty regularly, so if you are a very light sleeper being some ear plugs. The owner was prompt when there was a problem with the smoke alarm. Overeall I highly recommend this property, and if we ever find ourselves back in the area I will book again.
