Relax and enjoy the best of New England in this charming Newport Cottage. You are just steps away from the famous Cliff Walk and minutes from Easton's First Beach. Relax on the sand or take your kids to the ocean front aquarium. Tour the beautiful Newport Mansions. Shop and dine on the water in this majestic sailing town.
Our charming beach cottage has a nautical theme. Beachy decor makes this perfect place to live in flip flops. Spend a quiet night cooking out in a great backyard with patio, grill, outdoor fireplace, and waterfall pond .
We require at least a one month stay to comply with Newport zoning rules. Perfect for military or well qualified short term tenants.
Two rooms downstairs sleep 4 with a King bed in Master and Queen bed in the second bedroom that we call the cabin for its knotty pine board walls. Upstairs is large open room with 6 twin beds in a big open room and another full bed in a small 4th bedroom (or study) and a full bath.
Large living room with stone fireplace, smart television and view of the water depending on trees. Dining room, and outdoor patio with awning and comfortable furniture both accommodate family dinners. There is a private garden with awning to cover the porch, yard and stone fireplace perfect for smores!

A Charming and Relaxing Getaway

This perfectly located, charming home provided a wonderful getaway. The owners were kind, helpful and responsive. The home is ideally located to the Cliff Walk, provides an easy walk to the beach, and a quick drive to the town center and wharfs. It’s hard to imagine a more ideal location, pretty surroundings or more gracious hosts. Thank you!

Perfect location!

We loved our stay. We had 9 girls reuniting and it was plenty of room that we didn't feel crammed. The backyard fireplace was great, steps to the beach and cliff walk for sight seeing! This was the perfect location. Walkable to downtown and shopping! Kara kept an open line communication for any of my needs. Thanks!

College Graduation Celebration

We just finished a long weekend at this home. I say home because you feel like home as soon as you walk in. The only problem was that I didn't book it longer for after the graduation ceremony. Perfect location for whatever your plans may be beach, exercise, sight seeing, dinning you name it, if you like to walk this place is for you. We rented for the weekend for my sons graduation from URI it was 30 minutes from the campus and fit our family comfortably. Thank you Kara House

Couldn't ask for anything more

This house was right in the middle of everything and yet it felt like we were getting away from it all. There was plenty of room for 9 people without feeling like we were on top of each other all the time. We hung out in the spacious living room in the evening and lounged on the back porch and patio while eating brunch in the morning. The beach was a short walk away, and there were many restaurants and bars close by. The mansions and the Cliff Walk were very close as well. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend in Newport, this is the place to stay!

Wonderful weekend!

What a great house and location! It was perfect for our girls weekend with five friends from college. Short walk to the Cliff Walk and beach, and a 15 minute walk to downtown. Short drive to the national wildlife refuge with beautiful trails along the ocean. Neighborhood was quiet, and kitchen was well-outfitted for our needs! Owners were easy to contact. We would definitely rent again!

Amazing Weekend

We rented this house for a girls' weekend at the beginning of June. The owners were extremely helpful and easy to contact. The house was absolutely perfect and the pictures do not do it justice! The living room is very large with ample seating for a large group. The backyard was great for grilling and sitting out, again ample seating for everyone. Great beach/relaxing feeling as soon as you enter the house. It's also a great location, we walked everywhere (beach, town, cliff walk). I would recommend this house and plan to go back at some point! Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

Great Girls Getaway Weekend!

We stayed for a girls weekend & couldn't have found a better place to stay! The home was adorable and nicely decorated (much bigger than it looks in pictures) was in a key location (5minute walk to the beach/clifwalk and 15minute walk to downtown restaurants/bars). The owners were so nice & price was very reasonable. Would strongly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

Rented this property for a girls getaway and it could have not been more perfect. The location is prime, you're less then a block from the Cliff Walk, a 2 minute walk to the beach and a half mile from town so central to everything. The house itself has a great backyard and has a beachy feel overall. I would highly recommend!

Great location, close to beach, Cliff Walk, town. Lovely backyard with water feature and patio. Coffee in the morning will never be the same. Very comfortable. Loved the kitchen! Hope to come back next year and stay longer!

Charming Home, Great Location, Well-Equipped

We booked this home for a weekend girls getaway. There were six of us. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The home is roomy, is bigger than it looks in the pictures, and easily handled a party of our size. We used the upstairs "dorm" room with it's own bath and both downstairs bedrooms. When we entered the home, it presented very well. The rooms are nicely decorated in beach house decor. We enjoyed visiting on the patio in the evenings and having coffee in the sun room in the mornings. We dined in the dining room and enjoyed preparing dinner together in the retro-kitchen. The location was the best! Around the corner from the cliff walk entrance - we walked it both days, walking distance to mansions and downtown. We used the car for picking up groceries and running errands. We had three cars and they easily fit in the driveway. We would certainly like to stay here again. We had a great time and would recommend to others.

Sweet house in central location

We stayed here for two nights in mid April. The house is quaint and decorated in a oceany feel. The bedrooms suited our needs. The upstairs dorm like space was great for a bunch of ladies wanting to have a slumber like party! Six beds in an open room made us feel young again. The outdoor back yard and glassed in sunroom were the best part. Everything was clean and all basic things were accessible. The location was key for us. We were in walking distance to downtown, beach and right on the Cliff walk. I would definitely rent this house again for any occasion. The owner was very friendly and informative about the property and area.

Great for the family!!!

This was our first experience renting through VRBO and the owners did not disappoint. From the get go, the owners were very accommodating and patient with the countless questions and emails back and forth. The house was wonderful!! We have two very small children and the home was very welcoming. My children were able to roam around without us worrying about breaking something or hurting themselves. There was plenty of room for the whole family and guests. The location was incredible. It is literally one block away from the famous Cliff Walk. It is also an easy walk to Easton’s Beach, Bellevue Avenue and Thames Street. You really don’t need a vehicle!! We will surely be contacting the owners in the future on our way back to Newport. Thank you for the accommodations again!

Long weekend for Amica marathon

Me and my friends came up for the Amica Marathon and this house was in such a perfect location - and it was super charming! We all fit comfortably in the house and it was only about 1/2 mile from the marathon start - awesome!!! It was in the perfect location. We walked less than a mile to the harbor area where all the shops and restaurants were located and also just a few hundred yards from the cliff walk. We really did not use the car much - we walked everywhere. The house had all the comforts of home, the beds were comfortable and the living room was roomy for all of us to sprawl out. The owners were very nice and it was so easy to arrange the trip. Thanks again, Kara, we loved your house and our stay in Newport!

Great comfortable place!

Very comfortable for our medium sized group. In walking distance of the ocean, and a very short drive to Thames street. Absolutely perfect place for our girls getaway weekend. The outdoor firepit was our favorite feature. The upstairs was a big open room with 6 beds which was perfect for all of us to chat every night and morning. The owner was so easy to communicate with and if going to Newport again, I'd stay here in a heartbeat!

Couldn't ask for more!

The owner is expeditious, kind, and fair. The property is conveniently located, quiet, comfortable, and provides more-than-ample space and amenities. We are already planning our trip back to Newport next fall/winter with this home (not just "house") as a first choice for accommodation. Thank you!

Great spot to relax

We rented at this great house in late september and had a fabulous time. The house is close to everything, including the mansions, the cliff walk and great restaurants. There were three couples staying and had plenty of room to enjoy each other's company AND also plenty of privacy. We would definately stay again.....
