Rent a kayak and cruise the bay, grab lobster from the local fishermen, shop at the farmers markets or go antiquing.

The Space:
Nestled among the shores of Frenchman Bay, this secluded oceanfront cottage offers an idyllic retreat. Its wrap around deck beckons you to unwind while being captivated by the breathtaking panorama of the bay and the mesmerizing hues of soothing sunsets.
Rent a kayak and cruise the bay, grab lobster from the local fishermen, shop at the farmers markets or go antiquing. Enjoy the close proximity of the property to amenities, yet private and nestled in 15 acres of preserved shorefront woodlands. Hiking, sightseeing, restaurants, and shopping are all close by!
This home welcomes your children age 8 and up, due to the close proximity of the waterfront. Please let us know if you wish to discuss your family!
This is an open concept one floor home.
Kitchen: Equipped with everything you need to cook for your friends and family. There is a dishwasher, built in oven and microwave, full sized fridge and plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc.
Bedroom 1: NEW!! Queen sized bed with a full en suite bathroom and plenty of storage.
Bedroom 2: NEW!! Queen sized bed with lots of natural light and storage
Bathroom 2: Full bathroom with a walk in shower
Living room and dining room seat 6 with incredible views of the bay.
The wrap around deck offers outdoor grill cooking, wild life watching, and star gazing with little to no light pollution. This is Maine, the way life should be!
Children 8 and older are allowed. Please feel free to discuss the ages of your children and any questions you may have with us!
The new satelite Wifi is awesome, we look forward to your great service at the house!

Everything was as described. Really had no issues. Very secluded and peaceful location. Very clean. Met our needs for our trip. We enjoyed staying here.

The Frenchman Bay Oceanfront Getaway was a great house. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the tide go in and out. We even saw some seals one day. The house had everything that you need. Bar Harbor was about 40 minutes away which was not to bad. The beds were very comfortable. There was no AC, but the did have multiple fans. I would go back.

Sullivan Home Happiness

We are extremely satisfied with our stay at this home. The house was extremely clean. The location is stunning. The support from check-in through check-out was always on, available and thorough. We have zero complaints and only praise.

Comfortable and quiet

5 adults stayed at the home, very clean, very private, beautiful scenery, close to a town with a WalMart, Catholic church, gas station. Washer and dryer was so helpful. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this home!

Secluded paradise

We loved this home for its beautiful location and stunning views and also for its comfortable, clean interior. Quiet and secluded but not too far from town. Highly recommend!

Away from the hustle and bustle

After a long day of sight seeing and boat tours it’s a great place to get home to. Great views, close enough to Ellsworth to get all the food and supplies you need. Only thing to improve are the beds. They are comfy but you roll to the middle..

Maine Getaway

After a 12 hour drive, it was such a relief to arrive at this lovely property. The cabin included all of the necessary essentials and we woke up to the most fabulous waterfront view! The property is tucked into the woods and very peacefully secluded. We enjoyed about a 40 minute scenic drive to Bar Harbour, as well as Acadia National Park on a daily basis.We would definitely stay there again!!!

Quiet Getaway

Property is beautiful with a fantastic view !! It is so quiet !! The Cabin is very clean and the beds comfortable. Communication with the host was wonderful :) I would definitely stay here again ❤️

Frenchman Bay Stay

Very pleased with the house including location and view of ocean bay. Saw deer and eagles and enjoyed the stay. Only negative was that we were unable to get tv reception.

Frenchman Bay Getaway❤️

There were 4 adults that stayed at this wonderful place and there was plenty of room for us all. The cottage was just perfect in every way. (5 stars for cleanliness, 5 stars for comfort, 5 stars for location, 5 stars for everything else too!). The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were so clean. The kitchen had everything needed from the coffee pot in the morning to the lobster pot at night. The views from the deck were beautiful every moment of the day. The cottage is located in between the scoodic peninsula and Acadia, and we were able to enjoy so much including some hidden gems. This was our 2nd time to stay here and we will be back.

Nice place to Disconnect from the world

Very Nice! Peaceful and great scenery! Easy access to Acadia National Parks, our son who is 11 loved exploring along the water and in the woods. Lots of critters to find!. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your cabin! It was amazing!

Beautiful and quiet seclusion.

The cabin offered a secluded getaway with a beautiful view. It was about 45 minutes from Bar Harbor and about 25 minutes to the Schoodic Peninsula. It was rustic but very clean, comfortable, and quaint. We shared it with another couple and spent most of our time there sitting in front of the large windows enjoying the view. We would definitely stay there again.

Great family vacation

This was such a nice place to get away from all the crowds at Acadia. It was peaceful and so relaxing. We saw lots of wildlife: eagle, herons, turkeys, deer, seals, an eel and many, many kinds of birds. The kids loved playing in the cove and finding all the natural treasures that it offered. The house was clean and comfortable. This was perfect for our family.

Peaceful cottage to watch tide and birds.

We enjoyed our stay in Susan's cottage on Frenchman Bay very much. Peaceful, quiet, close to Choodic Point and a wonderful place to slow life down. We were visited by loons and a bald eagle along with many gulls. Loons calling is one of my favorire sounds. Plus, the leaves were beautiful to close out the summer. Highly recommend this cottage as a great get away place.

A peaceful dream house

What a perfect place to relax and enjoy this area! This home was immaculate and had everything you could need for a perfect Maine vacation. You could never leave the house and be content with the beautiful view from the deck. Everything Acadia has to offer is a short drive away. Susan was a caring host and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I enjoyed chating with her and learning the history of this beautiful Maine home.

Wonderful and Quiet Location

We knew we picked the right place when we arrived and saw the big picture window looking I er the water. Communication with proper owner was quick and efficient. Though roomy, there are many interesting items around the spacious cabin. The porch was an added bonus that not only provided a stunning view of the water, but the night sky. Rooms spacious and well-organized. Would definitely rent again.
