Welcome to Treetop Twilight - our ultra-chic, moody modern cabin nestled in the breathtaking Asheville mountains, just minutes from downtown!

Cozy up in our gorgeously renovated, professionally-designed luxe cabin perched atop 2 acres of secluded forest. Lounge on our high decks among treetops & birdsong, soak in the new hot tub, dine al fresco, and be spoiled by a gourmet coffee bar, full service kitchen, plush mattresses, luxurious sateen sheets, spa baths & more! An unforgettable getaway.

Wind up the mountain to 2000 feet, passing grazing cows, bubbling creeks, towering trees, spiraling hawks, and lumbering bears. As you park and step out of your vehicle, you'll notice the call of songbirds, and know that your vacation has officially begun! Enter our Treetop Twilight cabin, and sink into luxury. Revel in a professionally designed interior. Cuddle up in front of a roaring fire. Lounge on CB2 sofas with soft fur throws. Share dinner and games with the family, and enjoy our fully stocked cook’s kitchen. End the day with a sunset soak in the bubbling new hot tub and al fresco dining on two wraparound decks. It's the perfect spot to gather with friends and family, or simply immerse yourself in a good book while surrounded by the soothing sounds of the forest.

OUTDOOR LIVING is what it's all about! Experience the ultimate in elevated relaxation and dining on our exceptional wraparound treetop decks with peekaboo mountain views. Nestled amidst the lush canopy, the upper deck features a soft outdoor sectional sofa that invites you to immerse in the tranquility of nature, as well as enjoy the al fresco dining area lit by soft string lights. On the lower deck, relax in the brand new, 52-jet, 6-seater spa with LED lights, waterfall, and hydrotherapeutic massage action. Keep an eye out for occasional bear sightings as you soak in the serenity while surrounded by rustling old growth trees and chattering squirrels.


ALL BEDROOMS are furnished with premium Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe mattresses and 600 thread-count, ultra long-staple, 100% cotton sateen sheets, and folding luggage racks.

ALL BATHROOMS are newly remodeled! Powder room is beautifully customized with a live-edge wood countertop, carved stone sink, and unique mirror & lighting design. Both full bathrooms are equipped with rainfall shower heads, hand showers, designer mirrors, and custom tilework. Main floor primary en-suite bath is also equipped with an oversized soaking corner tub and separate WC space.

KITCHEN AMENITIES include stainless appliances, gourmet coffee bar, stainless steel pots and pans, quality German Henckels knives, blender, toaster oven, crock pot, and all the little things that make cooking fun: mixing bowls, citrus reamer, grater, can opener, colander, baking sheets, measuring cups/spoons, olive oil, spices

GOURMET COFFEE BAR includes dark French roast, medium breakfast roast, and decaf whole beans, Cuisinart drip coffee maker and bean grinder, french press, gooseneck hot water kettle, creamer, sugar, Torani syrups, hot chocolate, and tea.

SO MANY KIDS AMENITIES include: a beautiful, made-for-them, loft playroom equipped with train table and wee chairs, huge bespoke dollhouse, tons of toys, games and puzzles mainly aimed at the 2-8yo crowd. Some examples of our constantly rotating stock: Thomas wood trains & tracks, magnatiles, STEM-style smart building toys, wood play kitchen, Melissa & Doug wood play foods, wooden blocks, Barbie dolls, Lakeshore Learning cash register, Matchbox cars, and tons of children’s books. Need more kid/baby stuff? No problem! We have relationships with local equipment rental moms at very reasonable prices - like Uber for baby gear!

AND FOR OLDER KIDS AND THE YOUNG AT HEART: two hangout spaces (loft and lower level living room) made to entertain the heck out of the most discriminating teens. Let them play all day on the air hockey and foosball tables, and stream movies on two new Ultra 4K HD TVs (65” and 50”). These smart-TVs have built-in Roku systems that allow viewers to log into their own Netflix and other streaming accounts.

On the tech front, we are fortunate to have strong wifi connectivity from Spectrum cable. As with all cable providers, Spectrum occasionally goes out for short periods. It is rare, but if it happens during your stay, please be patient and know that Spectrum is the very best internet provider in Asheville!

Guests have full access to the cabin (minus small locked owner's closets), wraparound decks, hot tub, and our private 2 acres of land and forest.
Downtown Asheville is just minutes away, down the mountain!

This cabin is our family's vacation home, so we are not local but readily available by message and phone

Located in Asheville's quiet neighborhood of Riceville Forest, just off Tunnel Road. Centrally located with the Blue Ridge Parkway in the backyard (literally!) and Downtown Asheville just a few minutes away.

Please note that the mountain roads in this area are winding and steep, and you will encounter wildlife. There is a short driveway that slopes steeply toward the house, and we personally prefer to back in down the driveway. For the faint-of-heart, please feel free to park in any of the open spaces along the road at the top of the drive. For guests arriving in winter, early spring or late fall, please be mindful of the weather. Due to our location, snowplows can take a day or two to reach the neighborhood. Guests are responsible for tracking expected weather during their stay and planning accordingly. Refunds will not be given for weather-related changes/cancellations outside of our already-generous cancellation policy.

-Please review the lease agreement which becomes binding at booking under “House Rules”.

-Our family takes personal vacations in this home. Due to our children's severe allergies, pets are not allowed. Thank you for respecting their health and safety, and keeping our little ones out of the hospital!

-Due to insurance liability, we are unable to rent to anyone under 25 years old. There must be someone at least 25 years old present in order to rent our home, and photo ID will be required prior to check-in. New users to the Airbnb platform will be greeted in person at check-in to verify identity and IDs.

-No parties allowed! Parties are strictly banned across the entire Airbnb platform. Also, we are in a quiet residential community. Neighbors will not hesitate to report excessive noise to the police and to us. Immediate eviction with *no refund* will result if there is a party on the property.

-Bears live on the land and are frequent visitors. They are awfully cute, but please don't approach. They will leave you alone if you leave them alone, and never get between a mama bear and her cubs! They are clever and know how to open house and car doors, even the hot tub cover. Lock all doors/covers, and don't leave any food in your car, or you may encounter a furry surprise!

-Nature abounds in the forest! Wooded areas are home to critters such as but not limited to bears, deer, squirrels, rodents, spiders, ants, and insects. We are contracted with a pest control company with regularly scheduled treatments... but alas, Mother Nature reigns, and bugs and critters thrive out here. Please understand the possibility of seeing critters in and around the home, and that their presence does not entitle the guest to a refund.

-The driveway is paved but slopes steeply down toward the house, and we personally prefer to back up down the driveway. For the faint-of-heart, please feel free to park in any of the open spaces along the road at the top of the drive. For guests arriving in winter, early spring or late fall, please be mindful of the weather.

-No smoking in the house. If you need to smoke, please do so outside and properly dispose of waste. Take care to ensure embers are not left to smolder in forest leaf pilings or other flammable surfaces.

-Free WiFi is included. Do not unplug or alter the router or modem or any electronic devices in any way. Before checking out please remember to log out of streaming services if you used them with your account (Netflix, Disney, etc.).

-Maximum capacity is strictly limited to 8 folks, including children, at all times. The cabin is on a septic system (like much of the local area), so exceeding capacity would mean an overloaded septic system, which means open sewage issues which... ew. Nobody wants that.

-Guests routinely comment on the "sparkling" cleanliness achieved by our very hardworking cleaning team. Everyone is human, though, so please let us know if anything is amiss immediately upon check-in.

-Before checking out we ask guests to lock the hot tub, leave beds and towels messy, load dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it, and lock the doors when leaving.

-To protect your vacation investment, we encourage you to purchase travel insurance. No refunds will be given due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

-Security devices on premises: Ring Doorbell cam at front door, Ring Floodlight cam facing driveway, NoiseAware audio noise monitors indoors and outdoors
-This cabin is our family's personal vacation home. Due to our children's severe allergies, pets are not allowed. Thank you for respecting their health and safety, and keeping them out of the hospital!

-Hot tub: No glass, ceramic, food, or drink - it shatters, it spills, people get hurt, jets get ruined, bears come to destroy. It's a hot mess. And definitely no soaps, bath bombs, bubbles, glitter, or other substances/liquids or solids allowed in hot tub.
