Welcome! We're so excited to share our home—and the love behind it—with new friends. This cozy cottage in the heart of Cotter has just completed a two-year remodel, every detail chosen with care and comfort in mind. It’s a space created for connection, laughter, and rest. From top to bottom, this cottage is a love letter to comfort and joy.

We’ve designed this home with a vision of you enjoying a beautiful day in the Ozarks—fishing or floating the White River, hiking local trails, or strolling through town, breakfast at The Sands, a delicious vist to the Cotter Market or a sip of wine at the Arkansan—and then coming home to a place that invites you to truly unwind. Maybe that looks like preparing a meal together in the gorgeous kitchen, watching a favorite movie or simply sharing stories around the table.

Later, take a quiet walk under the moonlight, then sink into a cloud-soft mattress for a peaceful night’s rest.

Some comforts you’ll enjoy during your stay:

The house was perfect! It is very clean and well appointed. The hosts communication is spot on and personable. The beds and furniture were comfortable. There is ample room to relax. The location of the property was great and we didn’t have to travel far for anything. I’ve rented many places through VRBO and this is by far my favorite. I would definitely rent this house again.

Super clean and cozy. Alisa was very friendly and quick to communicate about the house and our weekend reservation. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning to book it again soon.

This place was amazing, well kept and super clean on arrival, the entire process to check in and out with the property owner was amazing. 10/10 would recommend. Close to the white river centered in Cotter. All around an amazing stay.

This home has been beautifully renovated to accommodate up to 4 travelers. It is spacious and is in the heart of the Cotter community. It has two comfortable sitting areas, a full kitchen and a spacious bathroom. We were very comfortable in our stay here.

Alysa's property is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is very well supplied, much more than most places we have stayed and that was very much appreciated as we cook a lot. We lacked for nothing. The bed was also comfortable and nothing is more important than a good night's sleep. We would stay here again.

Host was very communicative and helpful. Very clean and modern. Kitchen well equipped. Beds and furniture extremely comfortable. I loved the leather recliner in the sun room. That’s where I spent most of my time when I wasn’t fishing. I travel to Cotter 3 or more times a year to fish. This is my favorite property.

Host was so accommodating and friendly! Ensured everything was ready and available upon arrival. Washer and dryer was super convenient to have. Close to an awesome fishing area and the fly shop! Highly recommend!

Our recent stay in Cotter, Ark lasted 8 nights . The cottage was very comfortable and conveniently located for our planned activities ( fishing , hiking , etc..) We felt at home with the very charming decor and sunshine filled interior. The host Alisa , was very attentive and welcoming , which was greatly appreciated ! Overall , if we return , we plan to stay at her cottage again. Thank you !

The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Check-in was a breeze, and the house was open when we arrived. The bedrooms are nice, and the master has a fireplace and extra seating. The bathroom is a nice size, and it is easy for 2 people to move around in it. We liked all the seating, especially in the sunroom. We would certainly rent this house again.

My son and I were in the Cotter area for our yearly fishing trip. We had a great time fishing, but we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The cottage was immaculate and the service and communication could not have been better!! We are already looking forward to our next year's trip. Thanks for being such GREAT hosts…

Alisa’s home is exactly as described & very clean. The beds are comfortable, linens are nice & there’s even extra throw blankets. Most necessities are provided & the location is in a safe & friendly neighborhood . Alisa is very kind & easy to communicate with, Thanks again!

This charming house felt like home! Warm and cozy. Ample room and well furnished. Beds and linens first-rate. Kitchen supplied with all you'd need for coffee in the morning and meals if you'd like to cook/eat-in. Living room sofa was extra comfy! Sunroom offered quiet area to read as well as a large table for meals or family fun like cards or board games. All rooms clean; the stackable washer/dryer handy! We'll definitely be returning!

I have curated this home with the image of you enjoying a gorgeous day in the Ozarks, returning home to a place that invites laughter, breaking bread together, a favorite TV show or movie and a fun game of Foosball; then, a quiet walk under the moonlight and retiring to a comfortable bed for a good nights rest.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

I love how beautiful and picturesque Cotter is! Just so much peace and quiet and yet, sitting on the front porch, neighbors walk by and say Hello and engage is a sweet chat! Imagine sweet tea on the porch, a sweet Sunday morning, a pie cooling in the kitchen, aroma of cinnamon and apples in the air and living a beautiful time gone by!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It has such a rich history - far beyond my comprehension and is an engrained part of the Cotter History! I just discovered this is called the "Fields House" as Mr. and Mrs. Fields were prominent in the community. More to come as I learn more. Coupled with this history, I've come in to love on this home and give it a fresh refurbishment. Bones are the same but every room has been modified at least 80% - whew, I'm tired!!! :)
