The property was beautiful, clean and quiet.. check in was a breeze!! Samuel was very accommodating with a last minute adjustment to our stay.. my husband and I loved the privacy of the property and enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the beauty of the wildlife!! The hot tub and jacuzzi tub were so RELAXINGGGG!!! 10/10 would reccomend!!!

The property itself was beautiful and very well kept. Unfortunately, the exterior was heavily infested with bees, which made it difficult for us to enjoy the outdoor space and the hot tub. Additionally, there was no WiFi available, and aside from the three DVDs provided, there weren’t many entertainment options. These factors limited our overall experience.

I am sorry to hear that your stay was not what expected I do apologies about the bees We currently have an exterminator coming in every 3 month to try to control them unfortunately it is something that we cannot get rid of overnight

Beautiful weekend getaway

The commute to Gettysburg was short, making this a great hideaway for a weekend of restaurants and museums. The location is private and very well-equipped. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Location

We loved how roomy the place is. Decor is beautiful and everything is so clean. Our favorite part is that you are close to several destinations and places to shop/eat, while having a secluded and private feel. We will definitely return!

Romantic Getaway

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous cabin in Dillsburg. We spent most of the daytime in Gettysburg exploring, but it was so nice to come back and relax in the privacy this cabin offers. We loved our stay, very romantic and comfortable. Wish we didn’t have to leave!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home away from home. The perfect way to rejuvenate. Beautifully furnished with a picture perfect setting. Would definitely recommend and return.

Awesome Couples Cottage

This chalet was beyond our expectations,Sam did great with responding to messages. It was the best place we could've gotten to have our honeymoon at!!! We liked the no wifi an no TV in the living room. God bless.

Hidden Gem

This Chalet was amazing. The description in the listing is spot on with some extras thrown in. The jet tub, hot tub, and massage table with oil provided makes for a wonderful getaway. The location is so perfect. Close but far enough away. The back deck is private, unless you mind the turkey, deer, birds, and squirrels. Could not have asked for a better 4 day get away.

The cabin itself is charming and matches the photos well. Getting there was a little unexpected, as the drive takes you through a residential area with homes and schools but once you arrive, it does feel nicely tucked away in the woods, offering a good sense of seclusion. The place was generally clean, though we did notice the massage room hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests, which was disappointing. The biggest issue, however, was the bug situation. It was almost impossible to relax outside due to bees constantly swarming, something the owners seem aware of, as there were bee traps placed all around the property. Opening the doors also let bugs in, and even inside the cabin, we had trouble with flies, spiders, and even a roach! Unfortunately, we had to throw away food more than once because of it, which was especially frustrating after spending money to stock up for the weekend. We understand that cabins in the woods come with some degree of nature, but this felt excessive compared to other cabins we’ve stayed in. It made what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway feel stressful. Lastly, while the listing mentions 13 acres, there wasn’t much to explore because it was very dense woods all around with no clear areas to explore other than one overgrown trail which felt a bit misleading. Overall, the cabin has potential, but the bug problem really took away from the experience.

I am sorry to hear about the bug situation I was not aware that it is that bad and will promptly take care of it actually We have a contract with a pest control company and they are coming tomorrow to work on it.I was there just last week and did not see much carpenter bee activity but we are trying to get them to a minimum we are truly sorry for the experience and will do what we can to take care of the problem

We overall enjoyed our stay here. Felt private and quaint. The property was very clean, other than the jacuzzi tub shooting black water out at us when we tried to use the jets. The bed was very uncomfortable and hard, but everything else was comfy and homey. Loved the hot tub. Didn’t love that there was no WiFi, but we were close enough to a main road that we had good service. Also don’t like that they had well water. The water in the jacuzzi and shower stunk. Would most likely stay again!

Hello Kelsey I am sorry to hear that the water in the Jacuzzi was dirty we actually just cleaned it and thought it was taken care of we will look into that and this is the 1st I am hearing anything about the water smelling bad .As for the WIFI it is stated on VRBO that there is no WIFI hopefully you would still be back and we welcome you anytime
