The house was gorgeous. The property manager company Red Barn Vacations was NOT.A pet worker had clearly occupied rhbwinit extensively prior to my group as the space had not been cleaned thoroughly if at all.As a result my group and were inundated with animal bar on limes, couches, fabric head, baseboards, end tables coated windiest, dust tray in the dryer (after we washed everything), vacuum cleaner receptacles (after we swept and vacuumed everything).It was a 4 day sta and I advised Lori of red barn after day 1 and she was as nor proactive.After I insisted she send someone she advised that she would/did but no one ever showed.One of my guests left early owing to her challenges. It was a beautiful space, but very poorly maintained and managed.

The listing does not clearly define the number of steps between driveway a front door. Lower level smells of mildew/mold. Bad for family members with asthma. Bed frames made of fabric have thick coat of dust on the top of headboard. Bad for family members with dust sensitivity.

The house is beautiful and the kitchen is well appointed. Check-in wasn't smooth as the door code was not sent to us initially, and then when we arrived, we were trying to access the house from what we learned was the back door, as the front door is on the side of the house facing away from the lake. The code did not work for that door even though it also had a keypad lock. The view of the lake was mostly obscured by trees. Our biggest issue was this house has a LOT of stairs to get to the main level, and some of the stairs, such as the stair going to the front door, are much higher than normal stairs. There is no way they are to code. I would not recommend this house for anybody who has any amount of limited mobility.

The house was beautiful as advertised. The living room and bedrooms were large and clean, and the kitchen was completely stocked with lots of necessities. The fire pit and hot tub were very nice too. The house is nestled on the hill in the woods, and very very quiet. We saw several deer over our week stay. There’s a nice view of the water from the deck, and the dock is just down the hill. The street in front is very quiet as well, and barely anyone drives on it during the week. We highly recommend!

Blue with a View is a beautiful home with everything that we needed. The view of the lake is fantastic, and the use of the dock for our rental boat was very convenient. We enjoyed tubing, sight-seeing, hiking, using the hot tub and just sitting around the fire pit. this was our family's first visit to Deep Creek. I am sure that we will be back!

We had a WONDERFUL time at Blue with a View! The house was gorgeous and super clean. Beds were comfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful. Can’t say enough good things about this property! 5 Star!

Birthday at blue with a view

This was a tremendous house. A little hiccup checking in butvthatvwas quickly resolved. 6 of us stayed very comfortably. Access to the lake with a slip is a definite selling point. I would look again for this house when I book next year's trip

Littles First Time Skiing

Stayed with 4 Adults, 5 y.o., 3 y.o., and 4 m.o. Two great fire places, fire pit, hot tub with a view. Laundry. Great place for kids and adults. Assortment of kitchen supplies from air fryer to waffle maker. Aestetic is very modern, comfortable, and clean. Great bunk beds for Host was very communicative.

Incredible Family Retreat

The long weekend trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all. It provided winter wonderland experiences with much laughter. The snowstorm on Sunday was magical and the home provided warm and cherished family memories. The house was beautiful.

Family Thanksgiving

We celebrated an early Thanksgiving here and the house was perfect for it. The kitchen was extremely well equipped for our feast. While we were there it snowed nearly a foot and we were very impressed with the snow plowing effort that kept the roads clear and easy to use. And the hot tub was key to a great snowy weekend. Highly recommend this pretty place.

Top location for boating to on water restaurants

Location of this place was excellent for boating activities. The dock across the street was super close to the home and all the on water restaurants were a very short boat ride away. If you’re in Deep Creek to boat, this is the place to book. Red Barn the property managers also were great communicators ahead of our stay. We even were able to arrange late checkout to extend our trip.

Great week at DPL

Family + grandparents love the house. It was in perfect location and well appointed. What an awesome week at an amazing house on Deep Creek Lake (DPL). Love it and highly recommendi!
