Our Lake House is available to rent for weekends, holidays, or week-long vacations. Sleeps 6-8 comfortably. Master bedroom has king bed, bedroom (2) has a queen bed and bedroom (3) has two twin extra long beds. All bedrooms have televisions. We also have a queen size air mattress available. The kitchen has all new appliances and laundry room has new washer and dryer. On the outside raised deck, facing the lake, we have a gas grill and a blackstone grill provided. We have several big pots for your fish fry , low country boil, or boiling peanuts. Down at the boathouse we installed a sink to make it easier to clean your fish after a long day on the lake. You will need to bring your own fishing equipment and bait. Also bring a few folding chairs for the dock. We can’t leave them out for you because of the wind. We provide everything else to make your stay as fun as possible. BUT, I must stress to you, please bring groceries, snacks, drinks or anything else you are planning on using with you as you check in. We are isolated from stores, really isolated. We have two spots around here and I provided pictures of both of them. Coops, about 15 miles from us, is a country store with a little bit of everything, including breakfast and lunch. We also have, Anslies, Country Store, they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner until 7 p.m. They also have Hunt’s Pizza and Wings which is one of our favorites. Beware, prices are a little higher. The nearest Dollar General on Hwy 22, is about 30 minutes away. It’s 20 miles from our driveway to Lowes in Milledgeville but it will take you about 40 minutes to drive it. If you go by boat it takes about 15 minutes to get to Marina on Hwy 441. The nearest boat Landing is Cosby’s Landing Boat Launch, 475 Ramp Road, Sparta, GA 31087. It’s located off Carr Station Road which is en-route to our place.
