Havana Lakeside Escape- Private Beach & Game Room!

Whether you want to step away from the city life, have a quiet weekend elsewhere, a friend trip, or a blast with your family lakeside, this is the place for you! You will be greeted with numerous modern amenities and a fantastic lake view.

Our newly updated large family home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, billiards room, arcade/game room, shuffleboard, big kitchen, laundry room, screened porch, beach access and so much more! Both floors offer great views of the lake.

The Space:
Step away from the hustle and bustle and let us pamper you with our lake house! You can cozy up and read a book, take out the kayaks, enjoy a game night in and order a pizza, or whatever allows you to relax and unwind. We have provided you with a coffee machine for your scenic, morning views of the lake! There's also a gas grill and seating on our large patio to have a BBQ. Don't like bugs, not to worry, take advantage of our screened in porch! We have multiple kayaks, a pedal boat and some beach gear for you to enjoy the water. Enjoy our bags set and outdoor jenga as well! If you want to take a break from the outdoors and sun, our home offers A TON of games for indoor fun! These include: a pool table, shuffleboard, pac man arcade machine, pop-a-shot basketball, air hockey, lots of board games, and puzzles! Come the evening, take a break next to the fire pit under the stars!

The lake can be a wonderful place to visit anytime of the year! Cold months offer a serene escape with picturesque, winter views. There are also nearby options for those interested in hunting! Additionally, fishing is great all year round. The relaxing sound of nature can never be beat. We hope to see you soon!

Guest Access:
Your safety and convenience are our top priorities. Our home features a secure, keyless entry system. Upon booking, you’ll receive a unique security code to access the property—no need to worry about losing keys! This ensures that only you and your group have access during your stay.

Parking is a breeze at our home! Our large driveway and additional carport provide plenty of space, comfortably accommodating up to 8 vehicles. However, we kindly ask that you avoid parking on the grass to help us maintain the property.

Whether you’re traveling with a group or just need extra space, we’ve got you covered! Let us know if you have any specific parking needs.

Other Things To Note:
We own the beach directly behind our house ending at the large sycamore tree. Please note that beach access varies with the level of the lake and the Illinois River. Generally, beach availability is only affected in early Spring, when river levels are high.

Guests are welcome to bring their own boats and jet skis to put into the water. Ramp access is not far from the home. Please let us know prior to your arrival and we will leave you the key to the public ramp.

Guests are encouraged to lawn chairs, water floats and any beach/pool like items to enjoy in the water. While we have spent a lot of time cleaning the beach and yard, we do recommend water shoes. Don’t forget your fishing gear! (4) life jackets are provided with the kayaks. Please use caution and swim at your own risk.

We are not an openly free pet home. However, if you need to bring your fur baby along, please reach out for approval and details. With some guests who may be allergic, a cleaning fee would be applied, and also a non-refundable pet deposit. If bringing more than (1) pet and staying for more than 3 nights, additional fees will apply.

Some good bug spray is a must! Being on the water and sand, there are lots of different crawling and flying insects. Keeping the lights off in the evening outside, and the doors shut, will help this issue a lot. We spray around the house, but the critters are inevitable.

**If you'd like an air mattress for additional sleeping space, a queen mattress and bedding can be provided for $50 throughout your stay.

Exterior Security Cameras on Property:
A ring camera is on the front door of our property. This allows us to see when guests arrive and depart for cleanings. During your stay, notifications will be turned off.
