Two bedroom unit for 5 guests in Edgemont North West of Calgary

Located at Edgemont, northwest area in Calgary, 16 minutes to downtown,
10 minutes to University of Calgary, and 17 minutes to YYC, by driving.

Bedroom #1: 1 queen size bed, and 1 day bed (6'x3')
Bedroom #2: 1 queen size bed
Up to 5 people available to sleep

Sleeping Beds: The two queen beds in the bed room #1 & #2 will be setup when the guest number is 4 or less. Day bed will be set up only when your group have more than 4 persons. But if you do have a special need to use day bed when your group members are 4 or less, please let owner know in advance.

Rental Include: High-speed (Wi-Fi) Internet Access, Cable TV,
Utilities, Fully Furnished, Bedclothes, Cook Utensils(small electric Stove), Wash Machine(no dryer, have hangers).

Any extra service request will be charged additionally if it is available.

Check-in Process: Please call or text the owner when you arrive. Your picture ID may be required for security check and record.

Check-out Time: by 11 AM on the check-out day.
Check-out Process: please leave the KEYs at bedroom door or on the desk in the living room. Make sure to bring all your belongings with you, do not forget anything in the property.

Accommodating!

Upon our arrival we met our Host who was very friendly and helpful. The property was perfect for our (six of us) one night stay in Calgary-location, layout, and amenities. The property was clean and well maintained.

The host was very friendly and the suite served its purpose. We did find there was no ventilation, and it was very warm. The style is very old and could use some upgrades, but this is not a reason not to stay here.

Convenient location

We stayed here while moving our son to UofC. Excellent location and economical price. Relatively close to the Crowchild and highway 2 for easy access around town. The kitchen was a little difficult to cook in but providing you didn't want to make any complicated meals it was adequate. The shower was a little short but overall the basement apartment was clean. A good place to stay if you want a convenient northwest location at an economical price.

Clean, quiet, good location

Basement 2-bedroom apartment had walk-in sliding glass door with no steps. Private entrance. Great family neighborhood. Safe for walking. 10 to 15 drive in any direction to shopping and restaurants. 30 minutes to many Calgary attractions. Hour-and-a-half to Banff. Great TV and wifi access. I would definitely recommend.

Thanks Pat for the great comments and glad you had a happy stay. Hope to see you again in your next trip to Calgary. About the door step, because it is just 6 inch height, lower than the normal stair step height, so we did not add an extra step, in case more steps may cause more safety issue.

Dingy basement apartment

Did not enjoy the stay. This is a basement apartment with a musty odor. The kitchen is practically unusable and everything in the apartment is cheap and of poor quality. Would not recommend this place.

Roomy but entrance a safety issue

Multiple short steps inside gate proved tricky and with no back light somewhat dangerous. Kitchen could use dish towel and paper towels. Beds had no top sheet, only spread which I hoped had been washed. Area was quite roomy.

Thanks Janet for the comments and the suggestions. There is a rain water drain pipe under the steps, so we cannot remove the steps. Actually, there is a motion sensitive back light at the entry door, but it need to be turned on at night from inside. Hope to see you again in your next trip to Calgary. Not like in hotel using two pieces of sheet, one top sheet and one bed sheet. They are easily being rolled up when people sleep on the bed. Also because the comfort is only covered by the top sheet on one side, the other side is easy of being dirty. Normally they do not replace the comfort, only replace top sheet. So the top side of the comfort may be dirty. This is really not a good way. Instead, we are using covers to cover the whole comfort and bed, just like pillow covers. They are replaced and washed every time after the guests left. So it is much clean by using covers than using sheets. Both side of comfort are clean, and the cover is clean also.

Good for a short stay

A roomy and clean downstairs unit with private access and yard for children to run around safely. Good privacy between rooms and plenty of space. The kitchen is dated but okay for breakfast and the basics. The bathroom was small but functional, although the mirror is very low and only one light bulb was working. A light in the living area kept going on and off automatically and would not stay on for any length of time. The stucco on the ceilings and walls is unique. Our host, Wendy, was polite and available. This spot is good for those passing through Calgary for a night or two. We highly recommend a visit to Heritage Park while in Calgary.

Thanks for the detail comments and recommendation. Using one light bulb in the bathroom is actually in purpose for the energy savings, as the brightness of one bulb is enough already, instead of using four. The motion sensitive light in the living room is for night when people hose to washroom, it hose on and off automatically. There is another light can be turned on and off manually when people stay in the living room. Hope to see you again in your next trip.

Best priced apartment in a quiet neighborhood

This property is located within a very peaceful neighborhood. Unbeatable price. Easy access to public transit. Walking distance to groceries stores and other amenities. The property is clean and well maintained. Owner was quite friendly and ready to resolve any complaints.

Wonderful stay

We stayed for 6 nights. Very clean, comfortable and spacious apartment. Quiet neighborhood, 25 mins from Airport, 5-10 mins from shopping. Jilin & Wei were very accommodating, warm and friendly. Would recommend this rental to anyone visiting this area. Jennifer & Ron

Very clean and quiet!

We stayed at this property while visiting Banff National Park, Heritage Park, and Calgary Luge. The place is great for people on a budget who just need the essentials to enjoy a little site-seeing. We would choose this place again and recommend it to friends.

Exactly what we needed

Great place to regroup before a week trip to Banff. Everyone was able to spread out and organize their stuff. Close to nosehill, we were able to go out for a nice walk in the evening. Safeway is around the corner which was great for us to stock up for the week. Overall everything was great. Check in was a little confusing and I wish the owner would have email me ahead of time with instructions.

Large clean place Garden apartment.

We stayed here while we were waiting for a long term place to stay when we moved to Calgary. The flat has it's own entrance through the garden and is great for a stroller as there are no steps. It was large, warm and very clean. Bus stops opposite the house. Macs shop is only a short walk, and canadian superstore 5 minute drive. The owners were always on hand for any questions etc. We really enjoyed our time here.

Simple and spacious

Great place with lots of room. We stayed there for two weeks while we were waiting for our new house to be ready for us to move in and it was a good experience. Great back yard for little kids to play in and a nice playground near by as well.

Excellent place to stay

My wife and I stayed two nights at this place. We had very good experience. The location is great. The unit is very clean. Furniture is good. The family is very friendly. The price is very reasonable. Defiantly I would stay in the same place if needed in future.
