Explore the quiet side of Acadia National Park. Schoodic Acadia is a must-visit for those who prefer nature over crowds. Situated on 2 wooded acres, our cozy tiny home is perfect for relaxing and unwinding in peace.

ā€¢ 35 miles to Bar Harbor and MDI by car, or take the Winter Harbor ferry over for a unique experience.

The Mainelander is tiny living at its finest. This compact home offers everything you need to ensure a unique and memorable Maine vacation. We hope you will enjoy the home that we have taken care to design and build as much as Logan and I do.
Maine is the land of outdoors, and you will likely find that the best parts of your trip will be centered around being out and enjoying all this beautiful state has to offer. For your stay at our home, this could include:
ā€¢ A soak in the outdoor claw-foot tub (donā€™t worry, the water is hot)
ā€¢ Enjoying the stars around a campfire at our stone fire pit
ā€¢ Steaming up a fresh catch and enjoying it at the picnic area
ā€¢ Morning coffee overlooking the woods from the front porch
ā€¢ A hike down the trail (approx. .3 miles) to Jones pond, where 2 kayaks and life jackets await

At the end of the day, wind down and recharge for another day of exploring. Our interior amenities include:
ā€¢ 2 queen-sized beds each in a sleeping loft (keep in mind this is a tiny home, so head height restrictions do apply)
ā€¢ A full-size shower with tile surround
ā€¢ Washer/dryer combo for laundry needs
ā€¢ Books abound, pick a genre, and snuggle up on the couch
ā€¢ Electric fireplace for the chilly nights and a cozy, warm feel
ā€¢ Smart TV in the living room, as well as smart switches and Alexa components
ā€¢ Refrigerator, range, and fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials

Maine is pet-friendly, and so are we. While we ask that you keep a close eye on your pet, there is plenty of room for them to get some energy out.

Feel free to use our high-speed Verizon LTE internet during your stay.

Guests can access the deeded trail to visit Jones Pond and make use of the 2 kayaks and life jackets that we store waterside there.

The entire wooded property is for use by guests, including the fire pit and picnic area. While we ask that you keep a close eye on your pet and don't allow them to wander, there is plenty of room for them to explore under your watch. The gravel road can be used for quick evening walks, or take them along to explore Jones Pond and the clear, clean water there.

There is plenty of parking in the gravel driveway.

Guests are also welcome to use the Alexa speaker and smart home features to lock up, turn on and off lights, etc.

This is a single home property with no other rentals or residences on site. There are no neighbors within view. The deeded access trail is accessed via the gravel road the home occupies and is shared with only 2 other properties, each of whose owners value privacy the same we as we do.

It was the perfect little house for our stay in Maine. We loved the location - much quieter than places closer to the island, and there was a lot to do right nearby on the schoodic peninsula. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable when we werenā€™t out exploring!

We loved this tiny cabin! It was packed full with creative touches and amenities we didnā€™t expect (washer/dryer - yay!). Wish it could have been warmer so we could have tried out the bathtub, but overall this place was great. The owners also provided great recommendations for food and exploring nearby.

Cozy Trip to Acadia

We had a great time staying here - super cute and cozy. We were able to cook in most nights and the pond for kayaking was so beautiful. Really enjoyed staying on the quieter side of Acadia and the drive to the main Acadia area was easy and scenic!

Great stay close to everything away from crowds

Had a blast, very private away from crowds but close enough to do whatever you want in the area. Host was fast to answer any questions we had. Watch your head for real if youā€™re any tall lol. Great stay 10/10

Nice setup close to the Schoodic Loop of Acadia

Quiet and serene setup. The pond access was a nice option with the short hike to the kayak launch. Watch your head if you are tall. Overall a really nice option.

Amazing weekend in Acadia Woods!

We had an amazing time staying in the Tiny house in Gouldsboro. We toured and hiked the Schoodic Peninsula, drove down to Bar Harbor, and finished the day off with dinner in Winter Harbor before coming home to our cat waiting for us in the Tiny House. We loved it!

Perfect location

We stayed in this location while we visited Acadia. Location was perfect. Watch sunset at Schoodic Point. We hiked to the pond daily. Just lovely. Way more room than you would expect in a tiny house. It is a dog friendly place but there was a lot of left over dog hair overall Great stay

Well designed tiny home

Very cute and well designed tiny home. It has everything you need to stay there for a few days. A little too small for 3 adults (family) and 2 dogs but that is personal preference. The check-in and door lock system I really liked. I felt very secure.

Wildlife was visible around the property. Turkeys were hanging around. I was the right size to enjoy this property, but my husband had more trouble getting in and out of the sleeping area. Beds were a little tricky to maneuver in and out of. We enjoyed the smart home features and the fire pit. Wished we had time to enjoy the kayaks and the pond.

This was a terrific stay and the host Ashley was fantastic! She responded quickly to my questions and was helpful with a couple of minor issues that came up. Quick to help solve the issues. She kept in great communication with the check in and check out and getting the indoor fireplace working. The property is stunning and so much fun to have those memories of our trip to Maine. There is plenty of room and storage for my family of 4, including 2 younger children. The kitchen is well stocked with most items that were needed. Everything was clean and usable. The outdoor space was wonderful to have, the picnic table made a great breakfast spot, the deck with a table and chairs, the outdoor tub was a fun bonus, and the fire pit was fantastic. The walk to the kayak/lake was easy taking 7-8 minutes, and the kids loved the wooded path. It was quiet and secluded and nice way to relax after many days of hiking, tide pooling, and other adventures. We really liked staying on the "quieter side" of Acadia and so close to Schoodic, Raven's nest, and a nice little gem of Tidal Falls preserve. We loved the space and feel of more of a home! Wonderful trip!

We loved every minute of this tiny home, cooked most of our meals in the kitchen and on the grill, enjoyed the fire pit and star gazing at night. We really did feel like we were the only ones in the area. Great trip.
