Welcome to Kelley’s Island Venture Resort!

Located on the largest island in Lake Erie, Kelleys Island is the perfect summer vacation destination. The Venture Resort is the only resort hotel on the island and is located within walking distance to all of the downtown action and island transportation. We offer modern amenities and beautifully appointed suites, each with their own private patio and incredible lake views!

The Glacier Suite is a first-floor suite. It is divided by the bathroom into a living room and sleeping area. The sleeping area is furnished with a king size bed and the living area has a full sleep sofa for that extra guest or the kids. The suite is equipped with all the amenities for an extended stay including a small refrigerator and microwave.

Across the street, the resort offers a three-tiered deck with seating to enjoy the views of Lake Erie, Marblehead Peninsula, and Cedar Point.

The heated outdoor pool and hot tub are scheduled open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Pool hours are daily 8AM to 9PM.

Parking is available free of charge at the hotel. If you are not bringing a vehicle, golf cart rentals are available on the island and at the ferry docks through miscellaneous vendors.

Please check daily schedules for Miller Ferry, Jet Express and/or Kelley's Island Ferry to arrive on the island. Boat schedules are subject to change based on seasonality and weather conditions. Boat fares are not included with accommodation and must be purchased separately. Kelleys Island Venture Resort has no affiliation with any island transportation venues.

Great stay

Well maintained hotel right on the lake front. Very comfortable suite close to restaurants and activities. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely spot and very nice room

This is just the space we were looking for and everything was clean. Disappointed that the pool was clos.ed during our stay

Loved our trip

Beautiful view from both balconies. I liked that there was two entrances/exits. It felt like being at a tropical resort (but with chilly fall weather). My first trip to Kelley’s island was wonderful, would definitely stay here again.

Girls weekend

The property was nice, although a little outdated. The pool are was nice but could have been cleaner ! We were in a great location and enjoyed the beautiful island!

No tissue. Way too expensive for what you get in the offseason. Metal sticking out of bed frame. Banged my shin and calf on it. Had to put my shoe on it to keep from getting injured. See picture.

Beautiful location just across from the Lakeshore. Chairs by the Lakeshore so you could watch the boats and the sunset. It must’ve been may fly season because we were inundated with miniature mayflies that dropped dead in the morning around our door. Seemingly an older facility could use a little facelift, but we were quite comfortable. Enjoyed having a separate room and TVs in both rooms. However, the lighting leaves much to be desired. I could not read because I don’t think there was more than 40 W in any bulb except by the bathroom sink.
