Great Spot close to downtown

This property was in a good spot in a less-crowded area and reasonable walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

Great place!

Perfect for a weekend trip with my partner. Location was pretty good, we scootered pretty much everywhere and most of our scooter trips were 5-10mins. The apartment was cozy and clean with a comfortable bed.

Convenience

The property was quite nice and the convenience was perfect. Close to Downtown and Michigan Avenue where we found coffee shops, restaurants and a distillery within a very short drive. It worked out very well for our quick trip to Detroit.

Host was very welcoming and ease of entry was a plus. Also host was very quick to respond. My only complaints were that there was no dryer, so we couldn’t do laundry,AND the parking is a nightmare. I pulled out of my spot and ran over a couple of inches of concrete and it was so horrible I actually screamed out loud and my rental car sounded different after that. It was impossible to find a parking spot that I didn’t nearly hit something or run over something. And as much as I loved the place. It was perfect. The anxiety of parking a car there is a no go. And if you want to call a Lyft be prepared to stand outside in front of the building because that’s where the address is and you will be in the back. So if it’s cold… and food delivery drops your stuff off on the front porch too so you have to put your shoes on and walk downstairs around to the front, and back up. If you have a little SUV and only need the basics, this is the place. It’s very cute and comfy.

Hi Stacy, Thanks for loving our studio! I just want to point out there there is a dryer. It’s a washer/dryer COMBO unit. I wished you would have messaged me and I would have told you how to use it!🙂 Also, if you order food on the app, you just need to put in the instructions that the unit is in the back of the building and they will hand deliver it right to your door. That includes a Lyft or uber as well! You just put it in the instructions and they will come right to you! As for parking, I’m sorry you had issues. We’ve actually never been told that the parking has been an issue or someone has damaged their vehicle! So we’ve never thought to check it out and fix any issues there may be. We actually live at the building and park there all the time. The concrete you’re probably referring to are the spot separators, to separate each spot. There is a designated spot for you, so you shouldn’t ever have an issue finding a spot. Hope this explains everything if you decide to stay with us again! Thanks!

Not sure what we did wrong, or how we can make it better when you didn't leave any explanation or feedback. Everything seemed great when we spoke! So I'm not sure if this was a mistake?

We purchased this property over a year ago and completely transformed it into an 8 unit apartment building. We put our heart and soul into renovating it and hope our guests love it as much as we do!

Corktown is a lively bustling area filled with amazing restaurants, cocktail bars, sports bars and shops. It's also super close to all the best things in the city - from Little Caesars arena, to the DIA, to Ford Field, to downtown Detroit, to the Riverfront and more!
Our place is about a 10 minute walk to Michigan street (the strip of Corktown).
