We enjoyed having you and am so happy that you and your wife caught some fish in our beautiful lake! There are salmon, trout, and bass. I'm so glad you were able to relax and unwind. We take great pride in caring for the home and love it when guests like you do as well. Thank you for compliments! We do our bestto be sure our guests are comfortable and have everything they need. We have a guest book in the home which tells guests where the restaurants, grocery store, hiking trails, etc so I hope that was helpful as well. We would love to have you come back soon! The fall is absolutely beautiful here with the orange and red leaves reflecting on the lake!

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and took advantage of all the local roads for your biking pleasure. Teenagers love fishing, renting one of our kayaks or canoes, using the wifi and the ability to use their amazon prime or their blue ray dvd's to watch movies in the family room. They have enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing games, going for walks, catching lightning bugs, playing corn hole, swimming, and reading a book from the many in the cabin as well as the Free Library on the cabin before this one. It's a great bonding experience for anyone needing to reset and renew. Ice cream cones & pizza are available at Pat's Pizza as well as Milo House of Pizza. We look forward to having you again in July of 2021! A new restaurant McLaughlin's has a wonderful breakfast and serves Wednesday - Sunday from 7-Noon. It is located across from the newly expanded grocery store Tradewinds and Dunkin Donuts. Be sure to visit Elaine's Cafe also for a delicious breakfast and homemade baked goods. She is famous for her yummy donuts and sells them statewide. Being outdoor enthusiasts, you may enjoy going on a hike at nearby Gulf Hages or Katahdin Iron Works. See you soon!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We love adding new things each year to make it extra special for our guests. Our lake indeed is as clean as a glass of water. Some people even drink it! The home has a drilled well and is a newer home with all the finer touches to make you feel like you never want to leave as our guests often tell us. I’m glad you also enjoyed the brand new pontoon boat rental. It allows you to explore the 7,000+ acre lake.

Hi Maureen, I’m so glad you enjoyed our beautiful lakefront home with the wall of glass windows and triple sliding glass doors overlooking Schoodic Lake and enjoyed relaxing and disconnecting. We love if here and love being able to reconnect with ourselves and each other in our peaceful place and love it when our guests get to enjoy that as well. I’m so sorry you had trouble with the high speed 5G internet. I wish you had messaged or texted me and we would have contacted ProTech and they would have fixed the issue immediately. I will put their number right by the WiFi password in case this ever happens again to our future guests. I work out of the home we are in and am on the internet all day and I download and send information to people all day long and have not experienced any problems this year, but in the past on the rare occasions that I did a couple of years ago, I called and was back in business within minutes. We hope to see you again soon! The grocery store with Dunkin Donuts is now double the size and I’m loving that too!

We now have a new set of stairs of gradual stairs off the dock after your review, so it is now it is so easy to get into the lake for a dog, child or adult or are putting the kayaks into the lake.
