Great Location

Property was easy to find and access. Great location, 15 mins from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge and didn't need to fight traffic.

Nice Getaway in Smokies

Very cute cabin. We stayed three nights and came from Knoxville. It was a very rainy three days. Really wished the hot tub was covered. The owner was very nice and responded to concerns quickly. We will definitely go back go back.definitely go back.

We stayed for 4 nights in October and enjoyed the proximity to attractions. The reason for the low rating is that the place is not as pictured with the biggest change being the living room furniture. When messaging the host prior to our stay, I let him know my husband is in the military and doesn't get much time off. I specifically let him know how excited we were to relax in the cabin, since we planned to spend a majority of our time there. Even so I was not notified, and we were very disappointed at the new set up upon walking in. It's one thing if we book the place knowing what it looks like, it's another to show up to a place with a smaller, shorter, non-reclining couch... my husband and I were pretty uncomfortable on it. For other people this might not be a problem, but we planned our trip around a place to stay not the other way around. At that point nothing we could do or say to the host would change the set up so we made the best of the situation. I promise had we known, personally we would've gone with a different cabin. The worst part is that there was no mention of it, even after the fact. No offer for a refund (even partial) or anything. Business as usual, I guess.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m genuinely sorry to hear about your disappointment. I did mention ahead of your stay that we had completed some recent renovations, which included updates to the living room, but I understand that the changes did not meet your expectations. I also checked in with you during your visit and wasn’t aware that the new setup was causing discomfort. Had I known, I would have been more than willing to discuss options, including a partial refund, to help make things right. I’m sorry this impacted your time away, and I truly appreciate you bringing it to my attention now. I hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back for a better experience in the future.

Critter Hideaway

The photos in this listing look so fun but this place was incredibly nasty. I wrote the owner of this property and asked if we could arrive one hr early, he responded with, it wasn’t possible due to the cleaning staff needing to come by. Well from the looks of it, they never came by. When we arrived the patio was covered with dead bugs including cockroaches.The patio furniture is missing cushions and wasn’t even usable without being cleaned up. This was our first impression. We then entered the cabin to find more dead bugs EVERYWHERE. Cobwebs all across the stair case, exposed cracks with bandages, hair, dust etc hanging over the kitchen table from the ceiling. The kitchen refrigerator and stove had sticky residue on it. We were also welcomed by more bugs on the backsplash. This cabin was purchased in December by the owner and he hasn’t done anything different to it, everything is the same from the seller. Urine covered bathroom rugs, holes in the walls from missing towel bars, toilet paper holder hanging from the wall, all of the interior doors we’re disgusting and had not been cleaned nor painted, towels had bleach stains all over them, upstairs bathroom shower & curtain were discolored, the liner had mold on it. For sleeping arrangements the upstairs sleeper sofa came with ONE blanket. The hot tub/backporch area was also disgusting. I had to clean the place before we could settle. Thankfully we were able to spend most of our time away from the cabin.
