Cozy Retreat|Close to Village|Pets OK

This second floor guest apartment is perfect for a couple. Sit on the balcony and enjoy being nestled among the pines. Comfortable queen bedroom, full kitchen (minus a stove/oven) and modern 3/4 bathroom.

Our property manager lives on site to ensure that your stay is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Rest assured, your privacy is respected, and the property manager will not be a bother during your stay. They are there to assist you if needed, but otherwise, you can enjoy your privacy and have a peaceful stay.

Free WIFI/snacks/coffee. Pet friendly ($50 pet cleaning fee, maximum of two pets) with fenced yard. Shared driveway/private fenced back yard/dog park.

Perfect for those seeking a mountain view with all the comforts of home and an ideal outdoor space for their furry friend!

BEDROOM: Queen bed, nice size closet

OUTDOOR LIVING: Fenced `dog park` for the pups (shared space), seating area for two on the front deck.

KITCHEN: Cooking basics & spices, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, no oven/stove.

Water Filter: We have a Brita water filter available at the cabin.

INDOOR LIVING: Smart flat-screen TV, open floor plan

GENERAL: Towels, linens, basic toiletries, hair dryer, ceiling fans, pack-n-play upon request

PARKING: Park on the left side of the front of garage, do not block the right side garage parking. This is a shared space.
(2 vehicles maximum)

PET POLICY: Apple Ave Flat is pet friendly for 2 pets maximum. We ask guests to pay a $50 pet cleaning fee at reservation. Any additional pets will be considered for an additional $25/pet. Dogs must be crate trained for when the owner is away from the property. Guests MUST notify us prior to their arrival if they are bringing a pet & the breed/size.

Guests will have full access to the apartment.

I live down the street and may see you when I am walking my dogs. My property assistant lives a few doors down and will be available as well.

**Quiet neighborhood close to the village with great mountain views.**

To walk to the village, just head east on Apple and keep walking; you’ll be there in five blocks. If you head down Apple you will see the WRIGHTWOOD BREWERY , you can enjoy beer on tap, wonderful sandwiches and fresh baked pretzels! There will also be MILE HIGH PIZZA on the corner of Apple and Cedar st, fabulous food and service. They deliver, too. Ask for their $3.00 counter coupon on a large pizza (the chicken Alfredo pizza and antipasto salad with the house bleu cheese dressing is our favorite!). Further down the street on Cedar St. is a gift shop and yet another antique store. There is a public library on Apple and Pine as well as a skate park and wonderful children’s park. In town you will come across CABIN FEVER, another great gift shop, one of my favorites. They have a wide variety of wines (even Chocolate wine!) as well as mountainy gifts. Across the street is the BLUE RIDGE INN (fabulous prime rib and pumpkin bread). APPLEWOOD COURT has an ice cream parlor/homemade fudge and candy shop; they also have a darling gift shop and Christmas shop. On Park Drive there are several more restaurants. The EVERGREEN has great breakfasts; the YODELER has outdoor seating and good food and drink as well as billiards, MEXICO LINDO has reasonably priced and delicious Mexican food. The VILLAGE GRIND is a coffee shop/sandwich and wine store that offers WIFI 24/7 and live music on weekends and has amazing homemade soups. Or, walk down Pine to HWY 2 and there’s a wonderful trail that runs parallel to the Highway that will take you into town. When you travel down the path on Hwy 2, 1st stop is The WRIGHTWOOD GAS STATION (amazing biscuits and gravy to go in the am for less than $2.00 each!!!) A fantastic new shop, 6000 FEET, is on Hwy 2, right by the Mini-mart. Just up from the mini-mart is SHELDON ENTERTAINMENT CO.. with thousands of books/DVD rentals; they even have movie nights on Fri/Sat. Across the street you will see JENSENS MARKET(pricey, but well stocked).e If you continue down you will see the post office and MOUNTAIN HARDWARE (they sell sleds and chains, are dog friendly and are tremendous! A little bit of Mayberry RFD). Continue and you will cross the street at the stop sign and see the GRIZZLY CAFE (great ambiance and sweet potato fries). THE MERCANTILE is a fabulous shop right next door. ALL of the town’s restaurants have outdoor seating! Heading back down the street, on Cedar St. is a gift shop and yet another antique store. Helen St. turns into Apple Ave. If you go back towards town you will see the public library on Apple and Pine as well as a skate park and wonderful children’s park.

We`re happy to share local tips and advice about our mountain. If you have any questions during your stay, we are one phone call away.

We can occasionally offer early check-in or late check-out, depending on the reservation ahead of and after your stay. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out.

+ Please check the weather prior to your stay so you can be properly prepared. We are in an area that can get hot in the summer, very cold in the winter and can experience high winds. We will not issue refunds for weather issues, or road closures that are out of our control.

+ When visiting a mountain town, it`s important to be aware that you may encounter various types of insects and bugs due to the natural environment. No refunds will be issued, though we make every effort to manage pest control.

+ We strongly encourage purchasing travelers insurance, especially in the winter months.

3. We will respect the 9 pm - 9 am `quiet time` outside

6. We understand that if we `sneak` in additional guests we will be charged $100 per guest.

9. I understand Wrightwood has septic tanks and they are very sensitive. I will be responsible for any plumbing fees if anyone in my group plugs up the toilet.

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin is cute and cozy and had everything we needed. We appreciated the little touches with the sign, pet supplies, and hot chocolate. The place was clean and within close proximity to the village.

Hiding from the fireworks

We enjoyed our stay in Wrightwood at the Apple Ave Flat. It is just as advertised…clean and cozy and close to town with beautiful views. Host is A!

Perfect Getaway

The Apple Ave Cabin surpassed my expectations. It was incredibly clean and comfortably decorated, with lots of thoughtful little touches. I especially enjoyed the sugar cookies waiting for me upon arrival.Additionally, the location is highly accessible, and within a 15 minute walk to numerous village shops and restaurants.I hope to stay here again! :)
